I have it and glad they gave the option of turning the auto lock off, it gets the job done for the price it's worth. And nice review of it got yourself a subscriber here.
@@flashlightsuk1422I have just purchased this light partly due to your review. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. As this is my first light I have a question regarding batteries. What replacement batteries do you recommend and can they also be charged in the light like the Sofirn battery. Please give a couple of recommendations so I can find availability. Thanks in advance!
@@kevinmccarthy3753 The Sofirn batteries aren't to bad, but upgrade wise Molicel 45 or Samsung 40t are the go to batteries for high output 21700 lights - mainly due the ability to chuck out some serious ampage (45 for the moli and 30 for the samsung) -- if you're in the UK try Nubattery here batterieswww.nubattery.co.uk/2070021700-batteries Get the button top versions, if it say no stock, given them a call and they will add some buttons for you (all batteries are flat top to start with the button added afterwards) No problem with charging inside the light either. Performance wise the extra ampage will get the absolute best from your light....
This is testing a flashlight, don't test it indoors like others do, the flashlight has to be tested in the open field, on the street, in a dark place, to see how much it illuminates, the distance from the light, focus...
I take it that's the 6.5k version as my 5k looks a lot warmer? I find operating with the tail switch the light doesn't feel as secure in the hand as with side switches or smaller lights like the SC32 even though I have fairly large hands. You are sort of gripping it around the top and sides and not underneath as you need your thumb for the rear, otherwise I normally prefer a tail switch. Could be even worse with gloves but I do like mine nonetheless and you do wish you could have that great Turbo run for longer as it's such a Wow thing but I guess just have to go larger for that.
Great review. Thinking of purchasing this light for UK law enforcement purposes. Would you recommend the 5k or the 6.5k Which one are you running here? It seems to be a versatile beam pattern, which is what I want.
@@valeryk89x Das kommt ganz darauf an, was man möchte. Answer satisfying enough? 😉

One thing Sofirn needs to do is allow users to disable the lockout feature.
I agree - I have never liked an auto lockout feature
Click 4 times from off and the lockout feature should be disabled.
Good Video
Thanks

Mine was the 6500k version. The higher K versions are best for 'raw lighting', the lower K are aguably 'easier' on the eye.
@@flashlightsuk1422 great thank you. I'll go ahead and purchase one and give it a go 👍🏽
Wich one you recommend between the SC33 or the IF25A?
I have the IF25A and is very bright but I wonder how is SC33 compared to it...Did not find a direct comparison between them.
Buy both of them...😉
@@stefanhunderthp that is the easiest but the most expensive way 😁. Are they so close you can't tell which one is better?

@@stefanhunderthp Thanks 👍 I think I'll buy both 😂
Thanks! Is there any momentary button direct to turbo by just half holding the trigger?
No :)
