Ok
Ok sir
I feel depressed playing B3 from day one . I couldn't find a single random player or group to play with , it took like 5 seconds in B2 to find full group over years.
Edit: And then the story .
The story is bad but I just got the game and it’s really not such a drag down. I really like the dlc as well but my main issues is the lack of raids or things to do with friends.
Seems more like you're depressed for not having friends to play with. I can relate.
I'm here if u play😊, I'm lvl 9 tho, just left Pandora and floating in space dddd
I played with a friend we got all the expansions as we have for bl1+2. We really tried liking bl3.... Its nice gameplay had no memorable levels, we tried... I miss you broccoli
I don't think it's fair to blame the reason people aren't playing bl3 just on the fact that there's no new content. DLC is expensive to make and Bl3 had a really good DLC cycle with alot of free content. It was always going to die down at this point, while all hands are on deck to make the next game.
I think Bl3's issues are more to do with it's personal replayability with how it's story just has the player wait for a very long time to get to the next combat encounter. Other factors like abondance of legendary drops and not many endgame challenges outside of 2 takedowns and Hemovorous are also factors in this as well.
Ik the comparison is a bit tired at this point but Bl2 still has it's audience and that's because of it's replayability and endgame loop.
I just think its funny how people still say in bl3 the legendary drop rates are too high. when just a couple of months later after BL2 released. everyone was using BL2 save editor to give them everything.
@@trickygaming3211 With how much part variance plays an impact in Borderlands 3 (Just look at Artifacts or Class Mods ffs), I'd probably argue that Save Editing would be worse there than in BL2, as the gap in power from rolls & the sheer quantity of rolls isn't really much of a thing in 2. 1/986,305,320 is quite literally the drop chance for rolling a class mod with all three of the passives you want, & assuming you want a skill roll of +5.
@@GeneralSouthParkFan that's a fair point. Though I need to point out that since legendaries are so frequent in bl3, there's less need to use a save editor. I never used one in bl3 but I used one in bl2.
@@trickygaming3211 By & large it isn't, but there's some weird outliers where gear can be downright undesirable if the skill rolls aren't there (or just some that outright depend on certain passive rolls like the Peregrine or Hustler where Splash Radius is pretty essential). You do get the odd class mod where skill rolls can be pretty flexible (See the Stone or Bounty Hunter, with the latter you could argue between if +3 The Most Dangerous Game for general damage or +5 Hunter's Eye for bossing is preferable, or hell even +5 Frenzy for pet builds as the Bounty Hunter also gives you a massive increase for your pet's V1 damage for whatever reason, & the former you could argue much the same but with +5 Do Harm vs +3 Awakening instead) or just downright irrelevant, like how the Executor's skill rolls mostly exist just so you can dump +5 free points into Cold Bore for FFYL (or whatever else in Zane's blue tree). If we're gonna keep the free skill point system alongside of limited skill points in a CoM for BL4, GBX should try going back to the drawing board with BL1's CoM system I feel. CoM effects being potentially a game-changer in a build was a great innovation in BL3, but everything else just ain't it.
@@GeneralSouthParkFan ok I don't know what point your trying to make here. My point is this.
Why are people complaining about legendary drop rates being too high in bl3, when they were so low in bl2 the vast majority of players in bl2 use a save editor compared to 3.
That's it.
I'm playing the pre sequel
The rate at which legendaries drop in borderlands 3 is higher than the rate at which purples drop in Pre Sequel ....
Crazy
I think that’s one of the most annoying things to me, Ive spent dozens of hours farming a good loadout in previous games and in this one they just give you them for no reason, it makes legendaries feel worthless when they’re that common.
@6cmcnc6 that's ridiculous if you ask me. I'm not trying to farm for a week straight just to get a single gun that may not even have the right parts. That being said, most of my good gear I just duped in 2. And the only legendaries that drop a lot in borderlands 3 are the world drops, which most are absolutely horrible and not even worth picking up. All the good legendaries have significantly lower drop rates. I stopped playing the pre Sequel for that exact reason. It's no way to farm good gear unless you do the clap trap dlc and farm glitch weapons.
I’m playing BL3… never stopped since launch.
Sorry to hear
Same here Zane Main 4 life lol
Damn how many hours do you have ?
It's way better from the original release I put in like 300 hours to get all the gear and mission farmed
Moze Main
The thing is, I don't think no borderlands fans want borderlands to be a live service game, which is exactly what you're suggesting. Comparing it to the likes of fortnite who gets weekly updates or destiny who is still rolling out $100 dlcs years later. It's exactly the same concept, As borderlands, 1, 2, an,d the pre sequel. Not to mention being a live service game is something i don't think Gearbox can handle budget wise.
Exactly. I think there’s too much dlc stuff already
Nope
I recently started playing Borderlands 3. I got Pandora's Box on PS5 and I'm starting over with all four characters. It's a lot more fun now than when it first came out.
My GF and I just got the game, laying split screen. Its so much fun, literally didn’t know this game came out.
prolly cuz the game is 4+ years old and the campaign is so long and miserable no one wants to try challenge runs or anything like that. ask me how i know
I once played this game and really liked it. I never owned it but was able to play it for about 14 hours, I’m thinking of buying it. Should I? Ps5
How you know ?
I still play bl2 its a decade old bl3 is just bad
@@-_--pb7tiI still really enjoy the game and believe it is worth it. I also am on ps5.
@@-_--pb7time and my friend just started two weeks ago, these games are best co-op imo but there’s good online co op with fandoms too
I’m stilling playing BL3! I would love for Gearbox to add more content and my # 1 requested addition would have been like 2 or even 4 new additional vault hunters like they did in BL2.
Absolutely agree my friend
Maybe they didn't add new characters because of how customizable the characters are with interchangeable abilities.
The main story of this game was kind of booty, but having played all the DLC I believe that 'Bounty of Blood' could have actually made a really good main story.
I think it just comes down to the lifecycle of story driven games. Games like call of duty, Fortnite, and even Destiny 2 are constantly receiving updates because they are live service types of games, whereas borderlands follows the typical dlc season after release. I don’t think it was their intention to retain a massive player base 4 years after launch. Just to make enough profit from it to make the next one. Maybe one day we’ll get a live service type borderlands game but it would need a lot of tweaks to the gameplay and multiplayer aspect of the game, such as having a way to respawn enemies without save quitting and keeping the party connected while not in an in game environment.
The ones who complaining about the “they drop too much legendaries :( clearly hasn’t played b1 or b2 because I fought the warrior at least 50 times and still havent gotten the conference call. B3 legendaries drops are a blessing
BL2 drops don’t even drop on level most of the time. I’ll take BL3 all day
I got that same pistol and I'm playing with the same character As You Are so we think a lot alike
I don’t think the whole “most of the colors on my gun are orange their core the game is bad” argument make much sense unless shallow surface level presentation is all that matters to you. The bigger issue is that even though there are a lot more variety of end rarity loot, the variety within that loot is much weaker. Theirs 7 legendary Dahl assault rifles in B3, compared to just the Veruc in B2. But the strength of those 7 B3 assault rifle are a lot higher in raw stats then the legendary, but you not finding much difference from one Warlord to the next Warlord. Once you have a Warlord theirs not much reason to care about another Dahl assault rifle. In B2 if you didn’t like the Veruc, well their still the E-tech and rare Dahl assault rifles and their much closer to the Veruc in power so theirs that interest in looking for more drops. B3 loot is so dominated by the power of its legendary that it restricts the game a lot more even if their more variety in that color range. Compared to B2 yes some legendary were super dominant cough *conference call* cough cough , but it was no where as big of a problem as B3.
Now this isn’t explicitly about the Veruc and Warlord, or Dahl assault rifle or weapons but B3 weapons over all.
They needed to add pearlescent and iridium weapons into this like they did with BL2. I still remember my first pearlescent in BL2, me and my mate still speak about it to this day!
Adding more rarities to the guns doesn't make them any better whatsoever. Especially if there are lower rarity weapons that are better.
@@falloutglasster7807 To each their own, gun rarity and colours is one of the main reasons I play looter shooters
I played borderlands 3 and one of the dlcs (have all) a bit after they released it on steam, but I have been meaning to go back and play every VH as well as the DLC I have not yet played.
The game is a blast to play with buttery smooth controls and gun play have the itch big time and am excited for the future of borderlands
I don’t think its the content, but more of the story of the game. I haven’t played BL3 yet, just BL1, BL2, and TPS, they had decent story as well as cast. From the videos I seen online about BL3, the way the story, characters, mainly how returning characters - Maya and Lilith, or a certain side character - Ava - was handled, people were put off from playing it.
I highly recommend trying the game for yourself and forming your own opinion about it. There’s something’s I agree with the community on and others that I disagree with. It’s all about what you enjoy in a game and what you personally like about the game.
i played the game again, played the whole main story muted and skip all cutscenes, i just focus on gameplay and i'm having a good time. playing on all dlc un-muted and all i can say is the dlc story is better than the main.
@@stationaryniggurath7690 100% agree. Main story feels like a movie played at 60% speed. Makes the game move so slow, especially if it’s not your first time seeing it
Do you also have opinions on politics but not vote?
@@TheCureThatKillz What does politics and voting have anything to do with games, or why people don't play certain title of games? If it isn't relevant to the discussion, leave it out here.
I’m new to the borderlands ssties and I like it so far I like long stories with tons of action n the fact it’s a looter shooter too makes my mmorpg heart happy
I love borderlands 3 I play it every day off.
they should do skipable quest dialogue, i´m so sick of waiting for minutes to listen to dialogues i didn´t mind hearing the first time after every combat encounter to move on
Me and my 2 friends just started about a month ago im the only one still playing and i have a max melee amara
If your playing still I’m down to join
We all completed everything to do in the game with all 4 characters 😂
I work in game development and to create content such as DLC, extended campaigns, etc. takes A LOT of time, money, and effort. At the end of the day this is a business and comparing live service games and Call of Duty to something like BL3 is just naive and uninformed. Most boxed AAA products have a content roadmap that extends beyond the initial release. BL3 had several DLC releases and content drops post-launch that were fairly well received. To expect a studio to continue to create content several years post release while simultaneously working on new projects like TTW2 and BL4 makes zero sense.
The content roadmap should extend to give current players something to do until next release
Maybe they should go live service like Destiny 2, itd be better then Destiny
So I had to start completely over just to get the trophies to pop
I just started replaying
I played it on the PS4 and then when I transfer my character over when it came to the level 50 trophy I did not get it even though I'm a level 72
Bl3 is generally geared towards a more casual audience. The audience it did have saw everything they could and left once they got bored and the hardcore audience was left disappointed and went back to the other 3 ganes.
Does anyone have the issue where you try to matchmake and it kicks you to the XBOX homepage? 😢
Does anyone know the release date?
Borderlands needs to add 6 man raids like destiny. Maybe some pvp and some other activities. I just feel like it need to add some more multiplayer modes and stuff
Because tiny tina Wonderlands chaos chambers basically a round base zombie spin off pissed everyone off, and that's coming from a hardcore Borderlands fan I can't wait until Borderlands 4 release.
Borderlands has never been about player retention like Destiny or the Division that NEEDS a healthy player base. Borderlands doesn't require a lot of people to play it. You can play alone or with friends. How many people are playing will not really affect the game that much.
@@THI5GUYY all games should shoot for player retention
@@OfficialMGPlays I’m not saying that they shouldn’t strive for it. I’m just saying not all games need to have the same numbers as live service games which are intentionally designed to keep people playing for thousands of hours with content that is a lot of the time pretty sub-par. I don’t believe most games need that kind of player count years after launch. I’d rather BL3 have quality content (which I believe it does for the most part) than have meaningless content you see in other games just to keep people playing & paying. Most of these live service game just re-hash the same or similar experiences over and over again and then make you pay for it. If Gearbox is out of ideas then that’s fine.
I perfer BL method of content releases. Free to play games often have quantity over quality with new releases.
Bl series is similar to the Monster series with content updates.
The developers support their game for about 2 to 3 years, then move onto to work on more ambitious projects.
From a streamer perspective, you would want the game to be adding meaningful for basically every few months for more video content
However, this method has it's drawbacks as well such as weaker content quality, developers rushing content to keep up with the release cycle, developer burnout, financially demanding, and more monetization on the players behalf.
Grass is not always greener. Also, every game does not need to be a live service or last forever.
Getting 300+ hours in a game is more than enough to get your money's worth.
BL3 is still really good I think the reason they haulted updates is because they are making BL4. Keeping a small dev team to update BL3 would be nice though.
My opinion is that all the current releases should maintain a level of update and freshness simultaneously
Its not a live service game lol u compare fort night COD destiny are all live service games this is not a live service game
@@HazePlagueis A game doesn't need to be live service to have regular updates and maintenance patches. That's BS terminology the gaming world has adopted and now an excuse for devs.

Because, except for gameplay, the game is atrocious.
I do like the graphics too but i semi-agree that they went overboard with detailing especially with 3d geometry
What do you mean by atrocious? What's not good about it? It's on sale right now, so I'm thinking of buying it.
@@kingbaboon1145Bad story, more lackluster legendaries/bosses than in previous games, unskipable cutscenes, etc. I’ve never played the DLC but I’d recommend it on sale. The gameplay is great, but it doesn’t have the same charm or replay value as the other games. I don’t think even many die hard fans would play through the entire game on every character or fully explore the weapons/builds like in the other games.
Only the story sucks but disagree on the loot. Loot is great. It's not as good as 2 but it is pretty good.

Borderlands never had the best story, but yes BL3 had very questionable story decisions. But it didn't ruin my experience more of like, bummed me out instead really. The gameplay, of course, is amazing.
Hopefully in BL4 they fucking fix Ava. Ugh idk maybe give her some arc where she feels the weight of responsibility or somesht and wishing Maya was around idk.
the only borderlands i play on and off is the one and only borderlands 2🎉
Me i still play borderlands 3
I think it since we get these unique characters but yet they don't have that many abilities seems kindve a waste of a cool character
What are you talking about? All the characters have interchangeable abilities which is something no other characters have had in the franchise
I played the hell out of BL3. Builf diversity was great. It's like 6 years old
I like Borderlands 3 still I was play it a couple days ago
Gameplay and level design, guns ect. Are all really good, better than tiny tinas, my problem is the storyline is boring and has so much conversation, i wanna keep playing but i cant go thru that campaign again
Dialogue skip has recently changed my whole life with this game. Being able to fast forward through all the boring dialogue and standing around cutscenes is YUGE
Me and the homies still playing.

What about those of us on console??
I just got it yesterday I plan on checking it out here sometime soon
Enjoy! It’s a great game
Had to stop playing as I did not enjoy the campaign
BL3 doesn’t have replayability they force you to play on mayhem levels 2-9 with those annoying mayhem modifiers on which sucks and ruins the fun. Mayhem 1 is way to easy and mayhem 11 is good but you can’t gradually increase the difficulty and enjoy the ride if Gearbox would fix this then I would be coming back to the game more often. Also Legendary guns drop at such a high rate and don’t feel as rewarding they are the most common item in the game actually and the other rarities aren’t even viable options on mayhem 11 BL3 just feels broken and unbalanced.
I'm playing it from time to time, singleplayer only.
I hate how it's grindy though. People say that Borderlands 2 was even more grindy, but gee...
It takes AGES to level up, it's annoying.
That would be my main reason to lose interest.
Btw, I see people talking about legendary weapons in the comments. I played it like 45-50 hours for now. I reached the casino. Never found even one legendary so far.
Legendaries become more common once you get to endgame content which becomes available to you once you beat the main story.
@@falloutglasster7807weird im only lv 13 and found at least a dozen legendary weapons. Literally found one st the start of the game
Has no soul
Probably because there are hundreds of games, and people only have a limited amount of time. But the vast amount of arms in this game, is kind of fustrating.. The management of the weapons becomes crazy and Gearbox did a crap job helping with this (500 slots with no search just finding things becomes argh). Stupid sounds in the background that play over and over and over when you are trying to concentrate on something. Gearbox did not develop this game to be played for years, hopefully with BL4 they will cut the crap and consider people might play for years.
I played bl3 on ps4 cause I cant afford to just spend money on a ps5 and from the start it wasn't the best to play with lag, long load times and such which affected my enjoyment but it has been improves since then but mainly the game feels repetitive with speaking to lilith every two minutes and with the amount of legendary I can get in a playthrough makes the joy of finding new weapons less enjoyable and the story is by far the worst part of it killing off aurelia and maya my two favorite characters in the whole franchise makes me not want to play it. Its a good game and I do enjoy it alot dont get me wrong but having a rocky start and the story being bad alongside easy and repetitive gameplay makes it easy to get bored of in my opinion. And having no dlc vault hunters sucks as well cause I loved gaige and krieg in 2 and aurelia and Jack in the pre sequel.
I am still playing on Switch…
Had it on PS4, gave my youngest daughter my console and all my games
My bud gave me his switch, i bought BL3 😚😋
How does it play on Switch? Like quality wise is it pretty good?
@@OfficialMGPlays yea its pretty good, i mean switch is ooold bro.
Imo a huge turnoff of bl3 is just how difficult it is to run. It could run perfectly for 6 hours one day and crash non-stop the next. Not to mention the average casual gamer probably doesn't have the hardware to run this game at 1080p 60fps Also you have to delete the shader cache every time your gpu updates or your game will stutter, which not many people know about
Runs fine on ps5
My issues with the game is the shitty writing, the loot is also just screwed, there’s no reason I should have a whole legendary loadout just after 1 play through. I liked 2 because after grinding for a weapon you feel rewarded when it drops.
As a person has been playing borderlands, 2 since like 2013, That's not the case at all. I was annoyed grinding an entire week for the legendary that I wanted to drop only for it to be not a version that I want. Towards the point a good amount of my legendaries only came from people duplicating them for me. Borderlands 3 drops are just as satisfactory because the only loot that drops a "lot" are world drops, and a lot of them are bad.
@@falloutglasster7807 I mean we’re saying the same thing we just disagree on if it’s good or not. I personally like putting the hours in while grinding but idk I’m kind of weird. I also play with the community patch so drop rates are slightly better. But idk I felt like I earned my loadout in 2 and I had so many legendaries in bl3 first play through that it felt unearned. I was having them drop off regular enemies at times, I know for a fact I had one drop from a random bandit.
I love this game yo 😂I be farming
Your reasoning is more "why are people preferring live-service content over single player" Borderlands has co-op but its core has always been optimised builds and looting for individual saves.
So when you compare the content of BL3 to other shooters, you need to look at similar games that don't have PvP multiplayer formats.
For me it simply is a lack of replayability compared to predecessors, bad writing, and too many world drops over dedicated farming.
I don’t think it has anything to do with live service/PvP. It has to do with players not having anything new to do in the game.
Nope u literally compare it to 3 live service games
The game is good. The best borderlands game of all time and I think a lot of people would agree but the story is bad. Now that wouldn’t be bad but the whole game is about end game and nobody in their right mind wants to play an 8 or maybe a 7 hour tutorial plus grind sesh to 72. I do it on background because it’s a brain dead game with the farming and shit. It would’ve been the perfect game if they added a skip story after finishing it once
Yeah the story is a slog. Nots of standing around waiting for dialogue to finish. It wouldn’t be as bad if the story was woven into the gameplay. Instead the gameplay stops and you just stand there watching characters talk to each other
I still play BL3 and BL2
Game has no road bosses like terramorphus what do the y expect us to do that maliwan takedown crap its no substitute for raid boss a single large enemy with tins of health
What are you talking about? It's like 17 raid bosses in borderlands 3. They aren't all "traditional" raid bosses but they have enough HP to be classified as one. I mean borderlands 2 only has 10.
I just enjoy the game for what it is, was it really ever about the story? I play for the over the top gear and weapons, everything else is background to me.
That's what I'm saying. I never enjoyed borderlands for the story.
Some people need new content because they're not happy with the original.
I still play my super Nintendo which had 0 update games and I've beaten all of the games multiple times. The problem I'm having with borderlands 3 is that it's not borderlands. It's like a knockoff wanna be cheap Chinese version of borderlands. Far too many weapon drops and The gameplay is smooth but again doesn't feel like borderlands.
I am running fl4k and absolutely love the Pet.
But I will be going back to borderlands too as soon as I beat this
Something tells me the story is the drag
But the dlcs and the rest of the game is interesting (opinion)
I recently got all the dlc, started playing fl4k aswell as he was my first main ive mained all apart from the siren, for me borderlands fell off at this game, borderlands 2 was fun, great comedy, bosses, replay ability etc and was such a fun game for me and the dlc was great aswell and legendarys felt special but bl3 spoilt that, and the story is terrible I would rather have bl2 with all these graphics and gunplay
1 The main storry is boring/too long
2 characters yap too much forcing you to stand in 1place for 5 mins unless you do main menu skips but that also get annoying real fast
Other than that the game is fine i'm just not making 9 different characters like in BL2 because of the main storry being the way that it is
I have a few thousand hours in BL3 and still plan to come back to do play throughs with all 4 vault hunters. I don’t think we’re likely to see a 7 year run like BL2 had again for many reasons. I do think that having most of the main streamers/youtubers move on from the game hasn’t helped. Only K6 and you still put out BL3 content as far as I know.
i havent watched the video yet, here's my reason im barely even trying to play it for the first time:
I love borderlands. I have loved borderlands since the first.
BL3 sure feels like a BL game, guns are fun, areas are nice, enemies go *pop*.
but damn the story is a slog. most of the time im just asking the game to get on with it, and thats not what im used to with BL.
I dont care about the twitch streamer villains. I dont care about the new allied characters. they didnt add anything, rather remove from the experience.
im not looking forward to BL4, but i am looking forward to playing BL1 or 2 again.
I respect the honesty, and I also agree about the story. Dialogue skip mod is a massive blessing in this game
@@OfficialMGPlays yeah and thats my exact problem with BL3. the fact that a dialogue skip mod seems even reasonable is bizarre. half of BL for me is meeting all the absurd characters like Tiny Tina, Moxxi, DR Zed, etc.. i used to love that aspect, in BL3 its just an obstacle.

BDL3 has the best game play of the franchise. (I'm not saying the other borderlands games have bad gameplay because they don't.) However the writing and the main story in bdl3 is the worst. The dialogue is cringy and dragged out for no reason. The dlc in 3 is good, but the mainline story very nearly made me stop playing all together.
The borderlands franchise as a whole never had that good of writing to begin with so it was easy for me to simply ignore it.
gameplay wise this game feels amazing but yeah idk kinda needs more late game content i think
would also be great to get more than 4 characters

I'd like to see your trophies for the game I doubt u 100% which means u got content to beat
Borderlands three has the most late game content out of all of them, specifically raid bosses. Borderlands 2 has like...10 raid bosses. While 3 has like 17
3 is too shiny. only reason i don't really enjoy it that much. the look of borderlands 2 kept me coming back because it was fun to LOOk at. AND fun to play. 3 is fun to play, but god damn does it get old fast. i really don't know why that's not true for 3
Basically (in my opinion)
1. It’s 4 years old now so it’s getting old.
2. The game is finished
3. There are better games.
4. Biggest one…the main story sucks and that is what people care about the most in every Borderlands game and that’s why not a lot of people play it.
The borderlands franchise as a whole never had good story. Sure it had a lot of LORE which is often spread out through side quest and echo logs which can enhance the over all experience of the games story. But the individual main story of each game has never ever been special whatsoever. The best story oriented borderlands game is the pre sequel. That's only because each individual character you play has has a different dialogue that affects what the main story character says. While games like 1 and 2 the characters don't talk at all outside of combat, echo logs.
Mostly agree. I never thought the franchise story was all that great. I
Some games had a better story but overall decent. Gameplay and content variety are what make me stick around for all these years.

I just finished borderlands 1 again 4 years after my last playtrough. I am planning to replay all the games except 3 because I don't want to end this nostalgia trip with a bitter taste in my mouth.
alot of people dont play it because on pc it runs horrible
I think borderlands should take notes from destiny. Not Micro transactions. Stay with the core aspect of what borderlands is but do things like add raids and more replay ability. That’s why wonderlands failed, because there is nothing to do once you beat it
Feel this
Borderlands is a million times better then call of buji or fortnight
Because tiny Tinas wonderlands is a thing. Why play bl3 when you can okay the newer one 🙄
The newest bl is ass
Borderlands 3 failed in a few key areas that impact replayability, which is why I think it didn't retain players as well as its previous titles.
The game was very poorly balanced - I'm talking killing the hardest bosses with 1 grenade just because of how broken a lot of their weapons were.
Loot was just way too overkill - which removed the satisfaction of loot from the game. Legendary items in borderlands 3 basically have the same drop rate as a white item in borderlands 2. They need to focus more on the details of weapons / making cool weapons again - not just trying to have "a billion guns". They tunnel visioned so hard on the 1 billion guns number that a lot of their weapon changes in borderlands 3 just felt cheap / a lot of weapons just end up feeling like they are generated by a weak AI software.
They also need to scale back the loot so that loot feels rewarding / impactful again, and balance the weapons a lot more effectively so that the game is actually challenging.
Chasing rare legendary weapons / fighting epic bosses / replaying a challenging story is what kept borderlands 2 going for such a long time.
If they get those key aspects right, I think borderlands 4 could be great.
Weird that you say that because there are grenades in borderlands 2 that could absolutely destroy bosses. Like the storm front. And you want to talk about game imbalance, why is it that the meta weapons in borderlands 2 consisted of the same like 15 weapons. And it's only the world drops in borderlands. 3 that drop a lot on mayhem 10 or 11 and a lot of them are trash. Dedicated drops still keep their same drop rates.
I am a fan
Why only 4 characters to choose from?
Love BL3.
Villains are not great.
Dont understand the hate of Ava, she's far less annoying than the BL2 Tina.
Biggest gripe with BL3 is Too Many Oranges...
Also Bounty of Blood is fantastic, love the Japanese-Cowboy aesthetic.
Ava was an annoying bratty girl with an attitude problem. Tiny tina was silly weird and lovable. Wtf are you talking abou
Bounty of Blood is some of my fav BL content ever produced
@@brandon9621have you met your average teenage girl lol she plays the role she is made for she is supposed to be the ungrateful teenager that grows from lose. Tiny is silly cause she is mentally insane Ava can't show the same silly joy because she isn't mentally insane just a normal pissed of teenager
@@brandon9621 Tina is an insane person that grew up on Pandora, Ava is a depressed stow away that grew up on more normal planets that aren't murder crazy.
I mostly play it when I don't want a challenge. this game is so incredibly easy compared to BL2. you could go through the entire campaign without farming or even doing side quests, not to mention certain characters are already OP by like, lvl 20. also not getting a patch since Nov 2021 means there's still a lot of bugs, especially in multiplayer
Well we don't want a repeat of pre sequel difficultly
I mean... it's not live service game. At some point you see most of game content and you're done with it. Still all Borderlands have surprising amount of players in Steam, I'm sure it's more on consoles.
Garbage main story and no real challenge that actually makes you want to farm or call your friends, I beat the Maliwan takedown while leveling before the purple skill tree was released in 2020
I like Destiny 1 I don't care for Destiny 2
True I love borderlands but I have tuke a year for of borderlands.
I don't play Borderlands 3 mainly because you don't have a challenge before Mayhem. If in the first and second parts, at the end of the story, without farming bosses, you had at least 1-2 legendaries, then in the third you were strewn with them (that’s how I remembered my first playthrough, at least). If this game had a difficult mode (like Wonderlands), it would be much more enjoyable to play.
I can get behind this for the normal mode section for sure. At times it can get boring especially if you’re overleveled. I liked how Wonderlands scaled with you no matter what to prevent things from being way too easy.
@@OfficialMGPlays also like that with the help of luck dice you can customize how often you will get Legendaries. Like if you want playthrough with easyer legendaries - hit everything you see. If you want it more rare - you can skip some.
Every borderlands is easy on the first playthrough except for the Is presequel.
Uhhhh I play it
So do I friend :)
1:02: Did you just call a game with a $140 MILLION budget, developed in collaboration with multiple studios in different countries, and released by a major publisher "not a AAA title"? lol that is a wild statement.
I love borderlands 1, 2 and 3, but I just don’t think borderlands can ever compete with destiny. Borderlands was great when it was the only looter shooter on the market. But from an unbiased standpoint, I can’t see any reason to play borderlands long term over destiny except for destiny’s price. Borderlands end game has ALWAYS been terrible imo, farming bosses to kill those same bosses slightly faster ?? Or grinding non stop for new builds to just kill mobs in the same TTK as your old build but with a different colour explosion. I’m good, I’ll put my time farming weapons I can use in PvP where it actually matters to mini max. I’ve never been able to put more than 2-3 days of gameplay on my character till I get bored.
