I love borderlands 3. The problem I have is I have an Xbox one S and the load time is 9 effing minutes from the time I select the game to the title screen. After that my patience is gone and waiting another minute for it to load each area is more than I can bear. Now it was always slow, but it wasn’t always that effing slow. That happened after a bunch of updates. So when the new systems launched I tried my best to buy one, but wound up short and even more angry. To the point I swore off both Xbox and PlayStation permanently. Because it locked me out of being able to enjoy what I paid good money for, and they failed to even make it possible to upgrade to a machine that could load it in a decent amount of time without paying paying a ridiculous sum of money to some POS hoarding them all.

The game was broken on launch. Then they continued to gimp builds. Performance continued to be bad, especially on coop. Even when fixed, it still sucked. Shoving woke crap into the game. Introducing Ava, the most detested protagonist of recent years. And make her responsible for killing one of the most beloved protagonists. Good idea. Overly congested and long campaign with annoying villains.

I remember when i got the chance to play free for the weekend. I was, however, sceptical of the game for a number of reasons. My brother kept asking me to give it a fair chance since he had hope. I picked my character and had "claptrap 0.2" talk for the longest amount of time for what must had been at least 10 minutes of waiting and listening to what could had been under 60 words. It felt like the worst episode of SpongeBob was playing in the back as i did nothing to pass the time aside from wait. I didn't say a word as my brother kept asking that i just wait a little longer. I got to finally shoot. Don't know who's idea was it to fight bandits for the first gunout of the game and I'm fine keeping it that way. I went down like 2-3 times to the minions, but when i got to the boss, i walked around it and shot it till it stopped moving. It was not fun at all during that. My brother acted as if i had banished that game to the realm of trash purely off of nothing else but my lack of joy. It was hilarious. But yeah, that was a horrible beginning. I can't imagine playing that start again. I did play more, but much like fallout 4, i kept wondering... "When does the game feel good?"

I already owned everything and bought it for 30$ thinking I was getting bl2 and bl1 on ps5 version and literally gave me everything I already had and it’s still giving me the option to buy it again in the ps store for $150 when I already bought it

I love BL3 so much fun

Another useful thing is killing mother of gorgons using mayhem 10 (because she always dies instantly to a melee attack)

I leved up using flak honestly it’s worth it tbh playing with other people on mayhem 11 now I’m almost a level 60

I wish there was a new game plus mode, but I really like this game. I do wish there were unique characters like in the other Borderlands games, but they handle it well.

Also the gun that typhoon gives you will shoot out mayhem 10 legendary guns for 200 purple

I agree with everything you say, but a 6th reason I'd add is the excellent script. The choice of words, many creative references and different styles of comedy from each character is really really cool.

I've been on the fence about this game since I was never a huge borderlands guy, but I'll give it a fighting chance after watching this.

Played borderlands many times but recently stsrted my first proper plahthrough of tvh and mayhem mode and its crazy the game only has 3k players. There needs to be things added to keep players. I thoughts that competition on kills and damage would be a good addition

I got everything for the game but was never able to get any help during the loot storm or whatever that was where you got sent to the arena to collect the rare weapons.

I thought redux had less legendary drops

I am actually loving borderlands 3 its a lot of fun as a new player in the game but i have played and beat the previous games

I still play this game, but I get why people stop. I tried leveling a new character with the "Balands" mod installed and I just couldn't stomach the god-awful dialogue again. I still enjoy the gameplay loop and the drop rates dont bother me. I just dont like having to spend an entire evening just to get one item to drop that may be dogshit because of the parts.

In regards to your point about bl2. If you don't want to play the same story 3 times, you can now play the dlc stories to experience something different instead. That's how I do it to get to level 80

Only reason I haven’t played is because warframe and Elden Ring have had my attention especially with shadow of the erdtree. Honestly it wasn’t the games that made me leave it’s how bad the community has gotten. When the community becomes worse than fromsoftware fans that’s a good sign it’s time to move on

Never understood farming at low levels for something you will need to replace in 5 levels

I stopped playing because the eneimes r WAYYY to weak on the level 80 playthrough u throw a pebble at em and they die. .not sure if this issue is still in the game or not. The only thing i wish they would do is give us our 2 dlc charters. Like they did i. Pre sequal and bl2.

Only complaint is not having a tvhm/2nd playthrough.

Not only has Borderlands 3 aged like shit but it was a failure when it initially came out. The gameplay and quality of life improvements are better but the story, DLC, lack of raid bosses and build diversity make it pointless to return back to. The only people playing this game are shills that were paid to do so.

I’m new to this game, but loved the look, so I gave it a shot. Wow! I’m so happy I did. This game is so much fun! I look forward to every session. I’m going to go back and play all the previous games after beating BL3.

Bl3 maybe not be the best borderlands game but I still love it and it's still a good game. Bl2 is not only the best borderlands game but it's the best video game ever.
