Hello! My name is Chloe, and I am a gig worker based in suburban Toronto doing Uber Eats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, and Instacart. I make at least $1,000 per week with my strategies.

Had groceries delivered from Walmart yesterday. I tipped $19 (26 cdn). I'm about 1.9 miles (3km) from Walmart.

But in all seriousness. If I had money like that, I would always make sure people were tipped very well. I yearn to make enough money to where when delivery people deliver to me I can tip them $500 and make their day a little bit better.
I think the apps should pay us more, then wanting customers to tip more. since tip is earned

I gave up on food delivery a few months ago and I've been using the spare time to learn and practice handyman stuff and eventually turn that into my side hustle. Harder work, but the money is better (plus it's all under the table and it all goes to me) and there's more demand for it.

Lol. I started doordash yesterday and ive done almost 10 orders so far and some people dont even tip. I havent declined any orders. I just deliver and keep it moving.

It’s bad that it’s slow AND trash offers. I’ve declined more offers this week than I’ve accepted. $3 for 12 miles should be criminal to even offer.

Three shop and deliver orders, that's insane. I've done 2 before on UberEats and luckily the second one was only two 2L pop. It's a pain in the ass to even do 1, nevermind 3.

Why do people have to tip before the delivery? I don't know if you're going to give me my food. What do you make if you have no tip?
I make very little if no tip
It's so rare that people will add a tip after delivery on Uber, it happens though, at one point someone gave me 20$ afterwards but it's so rare. Generally what you see the order will pay you, that's what you gonna get, more than 80% of the time. And DoorDash forget it, if I get tipped more after delivery it's gonna be 1 or 2$.

@@GigAcademyInc 100%. I talk to 2 Diamond shoppers who work around your area and they make good money consistently. It’s not fun getting to Diamond, but when you get there, you never have to do it again

Hope you don't cry or complain when you don't get tips either. I had a Uber driver try to message me the other night "Brother i really need gas I hope you can understand $$$" I replied back and said brother not to worry the gas is coming as soon as you deliver this order! buddy boy delivered so fast and I just left him a 5 stars XD! he ended up coming back to my place 2 minutes which I believe he never left my driveway as checking my cameras he sat in the same spot and after leaving him only just 5 stars and he complained on how I live in a nice home ( I don't at all lol people love to assume ) and started saying that I can't even tip $2 or $4. I don't need to tip if I'm already spending 40 bucks on one combo meal with some nuggets on the side XD . I hope this is not you either
