Ok some perspective from the customer point of view. First of all, THANK YOU TO ALL MY DELIVERY DRIVERS ❤. I am a senior who no longer drives and grocery delivery is a life saver for me. I always tip well and extra if water or soda is in my delivery. I do live in an apartment with an elevator, but I know how heavy the groceries are. So bless all my delivery drivers, I wish they paid more, you’re definitely worth it.
This is going to be me in 10 years when I retire. I love home delivery and the people who delivery to my house. Like you, I tip too when they arrive. Because gas and auto maintenance isn't cheap. Every bet helps them
@@mollywoolsey7677 bless you! It really does make a difference when people show appreciation. My Son does delivery work as his main income sourse. The rest of us in the family are either retired or have full time jobs and do delivery to make extra money to play on because of the high cost of living these days. Yesterday I got a text from my son, a customer tipped him over 20.00. He was so happy and appreciative. He was choked up a bit over it. It is very hot where we live and that made his day. So please know! Your tips and appreciation makes a difference.
I was first going to reply that why would people pay the extra for delivery, but you answered it perfectly, glad they are there for you. Was thinking about doing this and understand how I would be helping.
It’s just your first day. I get great orders very early in the morning. Especially on weekends. Make sure you read the orders though… you don’t want to get stuck delivering those 40 bottle cases of water to the 3rd floor of an apartment! That’s the good thing about Spark, you see what you are picking up and where you’re delivering. Def reconsider shopping orders. They pay more and for the most part it’s really easy shopping, The app brings you right to the product. Best of luck!
I have a feeling she won't like Spark much when she gets those cases of water. Spark/Walmart deliveries are more work than just picking up and delivering fast food.
@@B_Bodziaklook at the items they ordered, if you click on the item list it will show you everything they ordered and then you can determine if you want to take it or not
I love spark, yes it has some negatives but so do all the apps. With spark, I'd rather take an order that has higher base pay and little tip. Less of a chance of tip baiting. And you get the base pay funds right away, versus 24 hrs for the tip. One of the downfalls is wasting time waiting for an order then accepting it and have to wait 20 minutes to start it. But i much prefer shopping orders, they are so quick! And I've had issues with curbside.. they just literally throw the bags in my car. A half gallon milk jug broke open IN MY CAR because of them throwing the bags. So I prefer the shopping orders, I control how they are bagged and I load my car gently.. not like a crazy person lol
@B_Bodziak Sometimes, yes they tip bait. They do it so their order gets delivered quicker but then takes the tip away after delivery... it's sickening and not ok at all!
I do this too, sometimes it works out ( like 20 and 30 dollar cash tips) and sometimes it sucks. But we are out here making that money. I love this idea of doing a channel at the same time.
Yes there are really a lot of people not tipping. Watch out for tip baiting on Spark. Home Depot and Advanced Auto Parts do not allow tipping. I think Spark is the only one that allows tipping. Shop and Pays are not bad especially on their app. It tells you where everything is aisles, sections and modules. They typically pay better
@@debbiel8585 no, they can if they choose. The problem I think it is, these people purchase tue yearly delivery so they don't feel like they need to tip for some crazy reason.
I pick and choose, and never do more than 3 orders because i can bust out two orders in that hour, minimum. I also dont do huge orders. I check every order before accepting them. You have a $5 incentive for each order between such and such time, which means that $15 order was actually $20. Unless im just out and about i only do orders in the time frame of my incentives so I get the extra cash. Last week I made a minimum of $110 in my 3 or so hr time frame i was out each day (I did 4 days). I would have done that $7 if you was making that $5 incentive, for 3 miles.
Ummmm… I just started Spark last week. My first order was 7 drop offs for $19.82. It took me an hour and a half. I thought, well….it’s my first order and I don’t want to reject it right off the bat, but I won’t be doing that again! I’m thinking of telling Spark to Spark off!
I have over 1400 deliveries. You do not have to take anything you don't want. They will not penalize you. There is no human sitting there watching your account. Its all just an algorithm.
Same lol Uber is way better sparks sucks I even went for a return to persons house guy wasn’t home I canceled order called sparks about it I got dinged for not completeting it wtf I called them they can’t do nothing about it im at 80% now orange
Some tips: You gotta sit pretty much at the walmart pin to get anything decent nowadays Assume every order is gonna take an hour (factoring in wait times between orders)
Lol. Oh honey you will get the hang of it. Don't worry. In my case, my Walmart is a half a block from me. I get offers while I am at home and I take the first pick up at 745am. I don't do Home Depot orders. I am careful with Sam's because of bulk orders. I do not do apartment orders either.
@B_Bodziak The offer will indicate it at the bottom like this "40-50lb. Apartment Alcohol" then you click on the little arrow to open the order and view items for each drop off
Girl, you had me cracking up this whole video😂 thanks for brightening my day!! I just got on Spark a week and a half ago and definitely agree- the shopping orders are where it's at! The app tells you the exact location of each item and the pay is usually good for low miles and few items. Super easy and fun!! Hope you get some of those good orders and Spark becomes another boost to your income! Keep on hustling 😊
Spark... You have to grab them, analyze them and decide whether you want to kick them back or not. Spark is so over saturated because it is good money when you can get one. Sometimes the shopping does pay much better than the deliveries There are no additional tips added; what you see is what you get. Again, depending on your market, sometimes you can make much more on spark than you can with Uber Eats or DoorDash period. The only advantage to Uber Eats or DoorDash is you usually only have 1 or 2 drops offs. Spark tends to be at a minimum 3. Spark has come to the rescue for me here lately! ...but I also tend to keep all three on at the same time!
Been watching since Nov I just started back gig as a line cook most shifts are 7 to 8 hrs but it's like 200 per shift plus I work my reg job of 40 hrs so it puts me at like 58 hrs per week we out here grinding keep up the good work
Yea with Spark you have to take the orange label from the tote for each order with you. Just rip the sticker off and put it in one of the bags for each order.
Welcome to Spark! It’s a hit or miss for me: My best times are in the morning. If you cut on the app an hr before the opening you will high offers. I also use a laundry basket in the trunk to haul the stuff one time. I use strap bags for water. Best wishes
I've never seen your channel or heard of anybody else doing a UA-cam channel like this but I can say that I absolutely ADORE YOU !! You're such a real, normal person and I hope your channel grows like crazy and you have great success from it. Please stay safe and keep up with the great content 😄
I started with spark 3 weeks ago and I was told this by someone loading my vehicle. She said that new drivers get first dibs only in the beginning. The first week I worked with them I made great money. The last 2 weeks I've done nothing but reject every time I turn it on and see an offer.
@@outoftheashes_I started Monday Labor Day and I’ve gotten only 10 with the 3 days today Wednesday I’ve made 190$ but I’ve rejected a lot Uber pays more and only one or two items lol really really not liking sparks
What helped me so much with Spark was watching other people on UA-cam go thru orders step by step. It can get confusing if you’re unsure of how it works. You can be very successful with it once you become more comfortable with it! Good luck, I know you’ll do great!
Ditto on this. I remember before I started I went through all the tutorials and devoured the UA-cam videos. It also helped me to join my local FB group, too. I learned the ins and outs of each store and where the good pay range was. I also can see on a daily basis what stores are busy. I learned a lot way back when I started before I even picked up my first order. I also do Shipt, UE, and IC, and I make more money hands down on Spark but I think much of it is because I know the ins and outs better on the Spark app. I also knew the idiosyncracies of the app - of which there are many, depending on what the update has messed up this time. I know how to troubleshoot before I come across the problem the first time. That saves time and money when the app acts up in the store.
I think you should reconsider the shopping orders. I hate shopping anywhere for any reason, but I'd honestly rather the shopping orders over curbside on Spark 100%. Always only 1 customer, USUALLY (not all the time) its only a few item's, so they get knocked out in like 30 minutes or less.
Oh very very important to note this MM.❗️Sunday order TIPS will not reflect on your pay until the following week, following Tuesday cuz of their 24 hour tip window. You will only see delivery base pay and those tips will show on Monday for pay the following week.❗️
Meaty Mama you should consider shopping. It tells you on the app exactly where things are. It's very easy. Aisle, section, and mod. Items are usually exactly where the app says it will be. Except produce and deli can be kind of hard. You may already know these things by watching other youtubers. I encourage you to try it a few times then decide. If you don't like it then don't do it anymore.💕
@@themeatymamait’s terrible shopping at Walmart , it’s a hit or miss if the items are available or not. Depending on what day & time you go. It can take too long, plus now Walmart brought back more cashiers & less self checkout it can get time consuming. 🙄🤦🏽♀️
The timer drops usually between 20-25 after the hour. Those are directly for you. The “extra earnings” are for everyone first come first serve…. Trust me spark is so much different. You gotta be patient. Sit at Walmart and wait for the orders to hit you. Shop orders are the best
In the beginning of the video you turned on Spark and said it was 2:30pm and I was like oh no she already missed the pickup offers. Those usually happen anywhere from the 18 to 32 minute mark. Usually if you have a good store it will be the same time every day. My store drops orders normally at :24 on the hour. Always carefully check what people order before you accept or you can seriously get screwed. Tip baits happen sometimes but so do awesome tips.
Don't waste time on Home Depot orders unless they're somehow paying a lot. The store takes forever to get the items to you and it can sometimes be very big or heavy things you may not fit in your car or hurt your back on them. You have 2 weeks on Spark as a new driver getting the best orders so enjoy it while you can.
Wow, what a jerk about the TV! :( I'm always super grateful and appreciative of out delivery drivers. Unfortunately we have had a lot of issues with non-english speaking Spark drivers who can't read our directions and end up just dropping the order off at some other address that makes no sense at all. They even block the picture of the dropped off order with their hand because they knew they messed up. I know it's not easy to do these delivery jobs, so thank you for hard work. :)
You can't expect it to be amazing on your first day of Spark. You definitely have to hustle doing Spark compared to the easier food delivery stuff. Just wait until you get those cases of water in your Spark orders and they are going to an upstairs apartment! FUN... Also, ALWAYS double-check the delivery address shown in the Spark app to the one that your Google Maps generates. It isn't always correct. Trust me.
some orders are better than others, not everyone tips, the best orders disappear fast it's good to combine all apps, yea, you don't check the items in the bags, just drop the order
Signed up for spark but got denied because of a dismissed tollway ticket lol, I just laughed pretty sure a few years old dismissed tollway ticket is the least of Walmarts concerns lol
Like I said on the other video, Spark will have good days and bad days. Great orders and terrible orders. They didn’t always have the triple grocery orders, so you missed the good old days. 😂 Surge means they may send an order out for $7. If nobody takes it, it will eventually come back around as $8. And will keep going up $1 to maybe $15? In my zone anyway, $7 is base pay. It just has to be late and people have to keep rejecting it. But you have a ton of stores in your zone. I only have like 6! Also, one of my first holiday deliveries was a TV, and the man I delivered to was rude.
Hello! I just found your channel yesterday and really learned a lot and enjoyed it. Laughed a lot too. You are so funny and smart. I had NO idea that the person dropping off my Walmart items also shopped for them. OMGoodness!!! I just got my order today and asked the driver and Yes! She did shop for me too. Blows my mind! Walmart is so cheap to not tell us. I gave her 5 stars and a much better tip. I also posted my newfound info on my Facebook page. I'm shocked. Thank you for your channel. I have it on now while I try to chill out for a minute. I also have a special needs son who is 29 now. Lots of work for us single moms.
Interesting. I use Shipt here in Wisconsin. LOVE my Shipt shopper. You can select someone as your preferred shopper. My shopper and I have become friends and she gave me her personal number so I can text her to find out what times she has available and we can coordinate so she gets my order. As a preferred shopper, they are usually funnelled to her first. If someone else picks it up first, I cancel and then reorder and she can usually get it. I am disabled, use a walker and ask delivery people to knock and then place my order on the counter. Most are really good with that. My personal shopper takes it one step further and puts the cold stuff in the fridge/freezer for me. I love her! I always tip.
They shouldn't let customers do that. If a driver is pleasant I will increase the tip. I live 2 miles from the store, i always meet the driver and unload groceries at the bottom of my driveway, then i send the driver on their way and i carry the groceries up to my house... Every time. Still with that i have only seen the same drivers twice....so i feel like it's not a good gig around here. If anything is missing i call customer service and they make it right . ..no problem.
I like Spark a lot! Been doing it almost 2 years now. There’s a lot to learn but you will get the hang of it soon I’m sure. I would be glad to share some tips.
Be close to Walmart about :20 after each hour for the Round Robin drops. I used to make good side money (I have a W2) but the orders these days have dampened my spirits and I don’t get out as much as I used to. I’m not doing 3 drop offs, 8 miles for $11 🙄 If they pay with PayPal or EBT there isn’t an option to tip.
Well shoot!!!!😩I was really hoping you would have great luck with Spark. I didn't realize how much you do not enjoy shopping at WalMart, because at least for me in a small market in Minnesota, the shopping is where the best money making potential is. I really hope it gets better as you accept more orders. Best of luck to you!😊💖
FYI...spark round robin orders only drop once per hour. Usually around the bottom of the hour. Depending on your area. Shopping orders can drop whenever they want to give you an order.
Be careful with just quickly accepting spark orders if you are used to Uber/DD. I didnt realize it and I accepted an offer for 20 bucks on 8 miles, but the store was not the one i was near... it was 14 miles away and Spark only shows the miles for the trip from the store to the customers, not from where you are. I hated it personally because once i added in mileage to the stores and accounted for how long all my walmarts take to bring out the orders, it was awful pay... may just be the area
I like walmart orders. It is a bit more work, but you can take your time. You do not have to worry about tips. No spilling cokes on your floormat. You just deliver and get your money, like Amazon Flex.
The sass! 😂❤️ Oh, Mama… Spark is a different animal. U need to figure out what times the round robin curbside orders are sent out. That will change everything for you. In my market, they drop at :20 every hour starting at 7:20AM.
I myself have EBT and notice that the Walmart app doesn’t give you the option to tip if you just purchase food items. If you get at least one non food item it will give you the option to tip so maybe that’s the reason a lot of people don’t tip because they know this and do it deliberately.
This was real and I so appreciate it. I’m older and want to do this part time. No clue what I’m doing and haven’t started yet. You gave a lot of perspective. Thank you!
You gotta pay attention to the miles and also when you take the order, you’re only you don’t have much time you have to be at the store by the time that is specified if you’re about after five minutes late then orders gone because that’s what they’ve been doing to us lately, so you have to kind of watch thatwhen you see your order disappear on the screen, that means it gone somebody already took it so you’re doing your first day so you have a lot to learn, but you’re doing good so far when it says Fire drop, but we only don’t do four drops and the Fire drop me the first drop is at the store that’s what that means so you have to also pay attention to rejecting offers. Don’t really use reject button too much if you do you’ll get deactivated
You're working hard for your money! I am navigationally challenged and dislike traffic. I appreciate the heck out of you who do this thankless work. I tip over and above in cash on the door. You don't see that on the app. I mean you get some on the app but then over and above
Yes I know what you are saying I would not want someone to say they didn’t get big ticket items! I had an order once for a computer from Best Buy and he told me to leave it at his door from his ring doorbell I was like no sir!
Oooh I hate it when they try to load stuff without the label! I have to tell them all the time that I can’t complete the order without scanning the label.
I do no tip and tip cash as well. One time I forgot to have cash and had to put on the app but feel bad because some say they don’t receive it that same day? So I do cash slways instead because people need it quick sometimes
@J-rt9ez that's what I do I tip at door. Because once someone told me that some companies take a percentage of the tip and I want the person to get all their money. I tip 20% at the door.
@@B_BodziakI don’t take no tips orders on principle PLUS on the off chance they tip cash in-person, I’m not trying to be snatched and kidnapped. I think about the driver that delivered and hand off order and they snatched him inside and unalived him. ☹️
As someone that lives on 2nd floor apartment, I take a 17 gal tote in my trunk when i go buy groceries to be able to load the tote down to carry everything all in 1 trip without dealing with bags ripping.... Had a glass spaghetti sauce one time rip thru a walmart bag on the sidewalk that was a disaster.
@@QueenofTrucking48 I picked glass out and then took a gal pitcher of hot water and drowned it... It did kinda stain the concrete red for a couple days until we had a big storm come thru and then couldn't see it anymore lol
So, what I've figured out is you have to go to the Walmart near the nice neighborhoods, and I've been able to make consistent good money doing nothing but Spark. They always bring my orders straight to my car as well. I no longer use DD, it doesn't pay nearly as much and is inconsistent. Also DD penalizes a lot for rejecting orders whereas Spark doesn't have that issue.
I have only sparked few times. My total changed a few times after I was done over a few days with the addition of the tips and incentives. I still like DD better. I've been reluctant to try spark again.
The thing I hate about Spark is trying to determine where the next delivery will come from. I have four WM's in my zone and if I go to one, the other one 15 minutes away will get hot. Zip over there nada! Now the one I was at is hot so sometimes I'm just waiting with no orders while other stores are hot. Plus, they only give a minute or less to decide if I want an to accept an order or not.
You better believe I check bags. I've pulled raw meat from fresh veggies, cleaning supplies from food, Round-Up from clothes. Once it's in your car, it is yours and I'm not going to deliver raw meat with baby food. Takes me a matter of minutes to check and rebag. But no, you don't have to do it. We're all self-employed. We determine our own service. MM, always carry extra bags for curbside.
@@sbwgigstitcherits not your problem, you didnt bag it the Walmart employees did. You are not responsible for what they do, if there is a problem its on them. Why take your time to go thru a bunch of bags especially if its a huge order? Not worth your time or the money your making
What I would do if I didn't already have a job I would put money down on a car with a low miles and then accept every job Walmart spark Uber eates etc just because I like driving
You should get a small battery-powered fan to keep you cool in the summer. I would get a dewalt battery-powered fan and have a few extra batteries just in case
Because Amazon Prime has trained them that "free" next day delivery is doable. Of course, it's only feasible with a high volume of orders, regional warehouses, and dedicated trucks that can be assigned all the orders in a tight area. But many in the public don't understand why that works or why gig driving is different.
I’m sure this has been covered already by other comments but on Spark almost no one tips. You do not have to arrive at that time unless it’s perishable. The total miles seen are not the actual miles from where you are when the offer is presented. It’s from the store to the customer.
Aw hope the Spark orders get better for you! I'm guessing Home Depot won't allow people to tip (I order same day delivery from Sephora sometimes and it's fulfilled by DoorDash but we aren't able to tip through the Sephora app at all)
I have a huge IKEA tarp bag that i put all groceries in so I don't sweat and wont make multiple trips, I also use catering bags for the perishable foods, and carry all at once or load the cart I have.
Incentives on spark r not to bad at all.........AM(as early as you wanna get up 7a-10a),Evenings and Weekends are gonna be your best times.....and you gotta be fast with accepting offers cuz other drivers see it too unless the offer has a timer then it's just for u !!!!!!! Customers have 24hr to add tips delete tips or reduce tips!!!! Spark love to give batch orders and batch orders definitely have no tips........Also be careful with ur time dont accept unless u can get there within 15 mins cuz ur rates can definitely affect the amt of deliveries they send in future....Also be aware of the tips that r to good to be true!!!!!! People will bait u with a great tip then erase it after the delivery is done!!!!!! I only go for low base but great tip if I'm sure it's a company or business!!!!! Good Luck😊😊😊😊😊😊
Spark to me is good if you want some extra cash for gas and food. Sometimes the app can be slow when waiting for offers and sometimes they will asked u to verify your identity.
I got accepted to Spark. That's for sharing this video. I'm here to learn. Currently a DD drive in hopes of better gigs. Best of luck to you. Just subscribed to your channel.
Walmart is trying everything they can to lower the pay. It was great pay back when they only had two stops. then they added a 3rd stop and said make more money but in reality they still lowered the pay just added more work. Thats said you can still (For now) just wait them out and get $30+ orders while doing doordash/Uber to fill the waiting. My acceptance hovers around 25% after ~1400 deliveries. I am very choosey as I hate apartments and the hood so I only take the ones in the safer areas.
Totally agree! Them saying you will make more money now with the 3 orders in a batch is such bs! They just add more work for us but no money, in fact its worse lol more miles, more drop offs and less money. They just want the non-tippers to get their stuff delivered
Walmart plus delivery is free for the customer. You have the option to tip. I do half of my tip on the app and I leave the other part of my tip cash on the porch for gas money for my driver.
Ha Ha when you ring a door-bell and run away In Ireland it's called nick-knock - usually played on folks at Halloween. I think that you're amazing with a great attitude and personality. Wait till all the people see that they are getting deliveries by someone famous and the tips will skyrocket! If they're not tipping tell them to give you a like on UA-cam!
What I like to do is only accept offers from the 2 stores closest to me, so I keep an eye out for the offers with those 2 store #s. I don’t do much shopping orders, unless it’s worth my while. Last Sunday I got a $50 offer for 2 items, 3.3 miles, scooped that up QUICK! I feel like with spark you really can’t do any other apps because you do have to sit around and wait for offers to pop up, and they get taken very quickly if you are not on top of it. The ones sent just to you, are on a timer & it gives you time to see the items, etc. but as with everything, different locations, different offerings, different pay-outs.
Hi Mama glad you are having a chance to give spark a try, l admire you for all the work you do for your beautiful family you have more choices now never to depend one or the other 💪👍 love watching your videos 🙏❤️
Spark is weird. I do it in Clearwater and overall I'm not impressed by it. There's so many frustrating situations that come up (pickup delays, confusing apartments, no gate codes, etc). I only accept offers that really pay well per mile, even if it's just 1 or 2 orders a day
Also shopping order are easy, you get the aisle, section & shelf location and you can't add items to the order, substitutions have to be turned on by the customer otherwise you can't sub. For curbside always get your lables before the associate leaves. The curbside associate only know the orders by the 4 digit code #.
I use in-home delivery, they come in put all groceries in the fridge and freezer and put all the dry goods on the counter for me. God, I love this service and is worth every dollar I pay, 99.00 a year plus 40.00 for the in home delivery. Thank You Walmart!!
In my experience, I hated delivering Wal-Mart groceries. it sucked to be honest. I was a Door Dash driver but I started to accept Wal-Mart orders. Many times I had to wait for awhile for them to come out and load my vehicle and it was a pain the a.. to have to drop off all those bags at the person's house. It was not worth the money to go through all those hassles. So I stopped accepting Wal-Mart orders. Now, I dont think Door Dash delivers Wal-Mart anymore.
I know someone who does Walmart grocery delivery but pays with EBT (Snap) and it does not allow her to leave a tip so she always tips in cash when the driver arrives. She is disabled so shopping is difficult. I know that's probably an exception to the rule but there are some people who aren't trying to rip off delivery workers.
I'm also "older" & use WM delivery, don't drive & it's worth it to me! I always try to have cash on hand bc I prefer to hand them the money that way they have it & don't have to wait for it....I'm just old school.....being a senior I get one year of deliveries for $49 so I feel I can give the driver a better tip.
Thanks for showing me what its like for my delivery people. I have wondered for years what it is like for them. I am a disabled Veteran, so is my wife, so delivery is worth it to us. We always tip 15%. I don't know if any of them also do you tube. If they do not, they probably do not last long, because the wear and tear on your car is massive.
I've used Walmart Spark a few times as a customer and I never saw an option to tip. I think that's why your not getting tips. They need to update the app where customers can tip for delivery
This is another awesome video.. The chap with the T.V delivery sounds like it's an him problem 😳 Think I laughed too much when you said, "I'll put Betty on the back seat😂".. Thanks for sharing 😇
Wow. Wish you were on my route. ❤❤❤❤so sweet and thoughtful. 🎉
And this is why I do it💕
This is going to be me in 10 years when I retire.
💯
I have a feeling she won't like Spark much when she gets those cases of water. Spark/Walmart deliveries are more work than just picking up and delivering fast food.
Spark is trash
@@B_Bodziaklook at the items they ordered, if you click on the item list it will show you everything they ordered and then you can determine if you want to take it or not
@@B_Bodziak Im not sure about home depot, I never did those so idk if you can see what they ordered like you can on walmart orders
Can we deliver on bike ?
I do this too, sometimes it works out ( like 20 and 30 dollar cash tips) and sometimes it sucks. But we are out here making that money. I love this idea of doing a channel at the same time.
Never turn the loaders loose to load your car. Always get out and make sure its loaded right and get your labels.
My hubby is not thrilled with Spark. Those people DO NOT TIP! They also want us to do multiple drops for crap money.
i am not happy with spark either but sometimes you got to do what you need to make money when dd is not working out
I thought I heard with Walmart u r not allowed to tip?
@@debbiel8585 no, they can if they choose. The problem I think it is, these people purchase tue yearly delivery so they don't feel like they need to tip for some crazy reason.
@@debbiel8585 some tip but they can take it away and you have know clue why or if you did something wrong or they are doing it just because
@@debbiel8585 we have gotten a few so I'm not sure about that.
Nice!
😂😂😂
I have over 1400 deliveries. You do not have to take anything you don't want. They will not penalize you. There is no human sitting there watching your account. Its all just an algorithm.
Spark off.😂😂
Same lol Uber is way better sparks sucks I even went for a return to persons house guy wasn’t home I canceled order called sparks about it I got dinged for not completeting it wtf I called them they can’t do nothing about it im at 80% now orange
In my market the only people that use spark live on the third floor and up. And all they want is cases of water and soda.

I don’t deliver to apartments anymore it’s always a pain no parking and the parking I do find means packing everything 50+ yards
True in my market also. They want everyone else to do the dirty work.
Fuccc them let them go get their own water cases
Some tips:
You gotta sit pretty much at the walmart pin to get anything decent nowadays
Assume every order is gonna take an hour (factoring in wait times between orders)
Apartment Alcohol" then you click on the little arrow to open the order and view items for each drop off
@@kc3989-l1jthank you
Girl, you had me cracking up this whole video😂 thanks for brightening my day!!
Sometimes the shopping does pay much better than the deliveries
There are no additional tips added; what you see is what you get.
Spark seems really bad in my area..but 119 in 4 hours, much better than food delivery
Yes, I also get great offers early am. Also in the evening by 5pm -8pm. You'll learn, hang in there
I must be doing it wrong, I quit at 5, need to step it up if I want to get paid
Been watching since Nov I just started back gig as a line cook most shifts are 7 to 8 hrs but it's like 200 per shift plus I work my reg job of 40 hrs so it puts me at like 58 hrs per week we out here grinding keep up the good work
Yea with Spark you have to take the orange label from the tote for each order with you. Just rip the sticker off and put it in one of the bags for each order.
Welcome to Spark! It’s a hit or miss for me: My best times are in the morning. If you cut on the app an hr before the opening you will high offers. I also use a laundry basket in the trunk to haul
the stuff one time.
Always make sure you have a label for each order
Enjoy it while you can, they are always hiring new drivers and they will prioritize all of the orders to the new drivers...
I know but I hate shopping there, lol
@@themeatymamait’s terrible shopping at Walmart , it’s a hit or miss if the items are available or not. Depending on what day & time you go. It can take too long, plus now Walmart brought back more cashiers & less self checkout it can get time consuming. 🙄🤦🏽♀️
your funny. give it a try. lol
@themeatymama shopping orders usually pay way better and it's always only 1 order now multiple
I use home delivery when I’m just too lazy to go myself and I always give a nice thank you tip!
Trust me.
Do shops. The app breaks down the items to isle, shelf & space ! That 13 item one will take you 5 min!
That’s if they have all the items on the shelf. That’s one of the issues of shopping in these stores, sometimes they are not well stocked.
@@muniondalenewyurk6777or in diff sections lol that happend to me
some orders are better than others, not everyone tips, the best orders disappear fast it's good to combine all apps, yea, you don't check the items in the bags, just drop the order
Signed up for spark but got denied because of a dismissed tollway ticket lol, I just laughed pretty sure a few years old dismissed tollway ticket is the least of Walmarts concerns lol
Wow😮
That's crazy! Wow.
Proud that you’ve gotten on Spark! Hope that you do great and adds a mix to your day!
Like I said on the other video, Spark will have good days and bad days. Great orders and terrible orders. They didn’t always have the triple grocery orders, so you missed the good old days. 😂
Surge means they may send an order out for $7.
Thanks for sharing your Sparks experience. ❤ The comments from viewers who also delivered for Spark gave some good tips and feedback too! 👍🏽😁
14,000. You go, girl! Congratulations ❤
I love Shipt, too.
I received my text today!!! I’m all signed up. I did an Amazon Flex route this morning. I’ll start spark tomorrow.
The customer on spark love tip you and then take it away after delivery
You can tip as long as you buy one non food item it will give you the option to tip
Remember it’s miles from the store to the drop off. Not miles from your current location.
Right, you really be going more miles
Well shoot!!!!😩I was really hoping you would have great luck with Spark. I didn't realize how much you do not enjoy shopping at WalMart, because at least for me in a small market in Minnesota, the shopping is where the best money making potential is. I really hope it gets better as you accept more orders. Best of luck to you!😊💖
FYI...spark round robin orders only drop once per hour. Usually around the bottom of the hour. Depending on your area. Shopping orders can drop whenever they want to give you an order.
In my area the round Robin orders drop at the 20 minute mark (between 20-25 minute mark) and the 40 minute mark.
Always tip well as we all are trying to pay bills. Gotta like MM.🎉
I like walmart orders. It is a bit more work, but you can take your time. You do not have to worry about tips. No spilling cokes on your floormat.
You just deliver and get your money, like Amazon Flex.
Yes, they have the option to tip on app! Go in a put in an order and see if if it shows an area for a tip!
The sass! 😂❤️
Oh, Mama… Spark is a different animal.
Thank you!
You need to be in a walmart parking lot. They drop orders around 25 to 33 after the hour
You dont need to be in a Walmart parking lot to get orders, I can sit in any parking lot or even my house and get them
Where I'm at you do there is alot of drivers
Yes,it’s got option to tip,you can use the amount the app suggests or delete it and type your own amount
The shopping part at Walmart is very easy on the app. They give the aisle number and the shelf number exactly where the item is.
If it says “no tip”10 times out of 10, they will not tip later lol
True
Not necessarily. Some people just want the job done right and then they tip.
You have to be in a Walmart parking lot to get the best orders!!
How did you clean that up lol I know how you felt
The first day of any new job is hard. Once you get the hang of it you will be fine.
It is not your job to check the bags. They call Walmart with any problems.
I don’t check the bags either, especially not a large order 🤦🏽♀️
Exactly right. Your job is to drop off their groceries.
It's the way I run my business. You do you.@@dianek1683
It does seem like per hour/miles it was quite a bit better than normal. Im sure it gets better as you navigate the app.
I won't even put in an order unless it's 40/50 bucks.. why do people even order a 10$ item and then complain its not delivered immediately

Welcome to the Spark club! Lol. I've been doing it for 6 months. Love it!
I got accepted to Spark. That's for sharing this video. I'm here to learn. Currently a DD drive in hopes of better gigs. Best of luck to you. Just subscribed to your channel.
It’s best to do spark early in the morning until around 3pm and also weekend mornings are really good .
The ones sent just to you, are on a timer & it gives you time to see the items, etc. but as with everything, different locations, different offerings, different pay-outs.
the 45 min mark is curbside round robins sent just to you if i remember if you near the store you get a round robin if i remember
Hi Mama glad you are having a chance to give spark a try, l admire you for all the work you do for your beautiful family you have more choices now never to depend one or the other 💪👍 love watching your videos 🙏❤️
Catching up! 🎉 I’ve been on Spark’s wait list since the beginning of December (2023). No openings yet.
Spark is weird. I do it in Clearwater and overall I'm not impressed by it. There's so many frustrating situations that come up (pickup delays, confusing apartments, no gate codes, etc). I only accept offers that really pay well per mile, even if it's just 1 or 2 orders a day
I have those issues with other apps, too.
Yay you completed your first Spark day. It will get better.
Also shopping order are easy, you get the aisle, section & shelf location and you can't add items to the order, substitutions have to be turned on by the customer otherwise you can't sub. For curbside always get your lables before the associate leaves. The curbside associate only know the orders by the 4 digit code #.
The customer can add items as your shopping, its happened to me a few times where they added a good 3-5 more items
@dianek1683 This isn't true. They have to cancel that one submit another order. And a Shopper can not add items.
@@SteffieInTheChi ok well they did it to me as I was shopping so YES it is true…
Love the channel and thanks for ideas for side hustles for this single mommy and looks like my four month old is going with me on some deliveries
At the bottom there is an arrow after you get there to see the list again.
I feel like you are experiencing exactly what I was experiencing the day I first got the Spark App! I was like WTF?!
This is another awesome video.. The chap with the T.V delivery sounds like it's an him problem 😳 Think I laughed too much when you said, "I'll put Betty on the back seat😂".. Thanks for sharing 😇
