Floor is in a league of her own when it comes to versatility, a Swiss Army knife of singing.
Yes, O mio babbino caro is from the 1-act opera Gianni Schicci and to be honest I prefer it as a true operatic aria, not rockised. But this version is less rockised than her other one and she does a good job.
The opera is part of a trio of operas called Il Trittico and there are some other well known arias in the trio, particularly Senza Mamna from Supr Angelica.
I love these operas.
I actually thought you'd already reacted to this performance, but I'm glad you now finally did! It really shows Floor's versatility, something that her true fans don't need to be convinced of anymore, of course. When I very first saw this, my thought was the girl thinking “Just wait 10 years or so, that’s going to be me!”

Fantastic, it is a Dutch program, but I had never seen or heard this one,❤❤❤❤ thanks to Suesue and Wolfman. I have been very ill since November, but have recovered 75%, not completely yet, but according to the doctor I will not be more than 80% fine, hence my absence from your channel. We can and have enjoyed Floor Janssen again, an incredible amount of fun and what a voice she comes from Finland to the Netherlands to sing for 1 minute and how, she almost blows me out of bed I enjoy her so much, to compare her with Kane was a big mistake of the presenter (flute singer with a potato in his throat, had 1 real hit, and a lot of attention, too much).
But Floor Janssen still greets every day and the world at her feet, the RABITHOL OF NIGTHWISH GROWS BIGGER AND BIGGER EVERY DAY, she has built up a status and I recognize a fantastic person, I and everyone who hears her and sees how beautiful and sweet a person she is just an elegant charismatic appearance and really just remained that she did there after a few performances with Nigthwisch and now years later, 10 to 12 years later the number 1 in the world, she is still the same as she was at the beginning. She has remained herself, it is unbelievable what status she now has, but without any haughty fuss and she is still in the middle of life among ordinary people, that is why she is so loved by everyone who hears her sing. The goodness and greatness that she radiates from her, Hannes her husband said it herself, she who shared a cigar with him, listening to Pandora together, while enjoying a CONJAC OR JACK DANIELS WISKIE, THAT WOMAN IS MINE AND WAS RISEN FELL IN LOVE WITH HER AND MARRIED HER, 2nd CHILD ON THE COME,AND STILL IN LOVE WITH HER. BEAUTIFUL EVENTS OCCUR BY THEMSELVES. Thank you Suesue and Wolfman, I enjoyed being together again and you, like me, immediately fell in love with her voice and everything she is and does and the band Nigthwisch, Lots of love from Jan de Zwaan alias Dirk Pitt.❤❤❤al the love to you too 😊
