Golden is one of the absolute best acrylic airbrush paints on the market. Don't use them personally but I have been airbrushing since the early 90's and I know what is good. 😉

Those look amazing Jen. My last day at McHell was today now that spring is starting to take hold here in northern Michigan. I have to have a shit ton of baits painted and ready for shows and such around the area this spring. I was thinking crappie being my first batch but now I think imma stick with my first original and go with my yellow perch. But agree with you completely on much that you have said in this video. Keep pushing forward Jen great seeing you succeed. :)

WoW what a great video. I just got my hands on a few lures and was trying to figure out the treble hook size so I could replace the rusty hooks. Going to order the split ring pliers you use but after watching this I might want to try a bit of air brush painting on some lures. It looks really interesting and fun. I will be subscribing to your channel. I still don’t know how to tell hook sizes but at least I know how to remove them now. Thanks for an awesome education and perhaps a new hobby.

Thank you for your support on suicide. I found my battle brother when he did it in his bathroom. I still have major ptsd from it and try to be a huge advocate for making depression anxiety normal and therapy isn't a sign of weakness. A lot of us grew up thinking it's a bad thing to see a therapist, as in we would be crazy or in a mental hospital. It should be normalized and more people speak up. So thank you.

I don't try to prevent it, but I'm pretty methodical on rinsing the paint cup after each color run

Love your work! What's the best and quickest clear coat to use, in your opinion? Currently, i use a 2 part epoxy and am just looking for something that is durable and quicker to apply. I appreciate you!

Yes! Usually 2-3 coats
I love the golden titanium white but on occasion, I have issues with createx wicked paints not covering it well...it doesn't soak in properly. Have u experienced this?
Yes I have. Try mixing wicked colors white with golden white. Seems to help.
I have a question for you if you using createx or wicked airbrush paint would 0.3 be enough to push those two paints through a airbrush

That’s not slow. Sometimes detail is sacrificed for time. Slow and steady often wins the race
