Using any masking tape I always do an angled ‘fold onto itself’ on the tape roll. It makes finding the roll end, tearing off the roll easier. Also removing tape it gives a little pull tab. Use this for window sash, house painting, auto and boats... it works for me, ymmv
My dogs will play with the hose for hours. But if it starts to rain... like 3 drops on a brick. They are all hiding under the bed and won’t come out.
Go figure.

amazing. I have trouble doing that kind of craw stenciling because I cant keep the helping hands steady. Then my stencil keeps moving while I'm trying to hold it. You make it look easy but I know its isn't.
I use a heavy base helping hands set. Makes a huge difference in stability. I can grab you a link if you’re interested 🙂

I use the plastic cutting board to cut my stencils. I get them from the DollarTree and there big enough to get several out of.. hope it helps.

Jen, Speaking of brush cleaning, how often do you need to change the needle in your brush?
I have a couple back ups, but the needle will be fine as long as the tip stays intact and doesn't get bent. I have had the same needle for 4 years

Hello, Have you tried using Liquitex brand? We dont have Createx (that is not overpriced) here in the Philippines. Will be doing my own custom lure i was really inspired by your videos! :)
If your using kbs how long do u let it dry cause I tried that stuff and 3 days later baits are still tacky and can't set them on or against anything
It depends on the humidity level. Also on how old your KBS is (batch date, not purchase date). In the last few years they've changed the formula in that, KBS used to be a top down dry/cure clear. Now it cures from the inside outward. I don't normally touch my hanging baits for a few days before I pull them and clean/dress them. If that's too long of a wait time (and it can be) try UV or 2 part epoxy that cures faster. I have stayed with KBS over the years because when it DOES cure, it won't yellow and is touch as nails.
What is your primer mix . I saw the three that you use but not sure of the quantity of the three. Very beautiful work

Hello, I already subscribed your channel and following your tips and tricks thanks for this. I have some problems during making my metal jigs, one problem, after priming my jigs, I apply hot foil stamping then I paint the edges but when I apply the paint my jig's hologram turns to pale and looses its hologram. What is the reason for this?.Another question, after painting my lures( I am using binder, hardener and paint pigment) when I try to apply varnish using my airbrush, varnish is not distrubite evenly, I mean, when I looked the jig I see some spots covered and some spots not covered. I could not manage the last coat. What is your advise, maybe I must remind, I am not using water based paints. Thanks a lot by now

hey Jen, what gauge wire is that in the thumbnail? the one going straight across. i remember you saying in a older video you use Galvanized wire to hang your baits (i believe you said you used 25lbs?) awesome video like always!
