I would love to see the painting and process you take making lures. These look awesome! Keep the videos coming!! My young boys and I love watching your videos. Thanks for doing what ya do man👍
You dont have to apologize for being behind painting, I build baits from wood and I usually have at least 5-6 completed baits that are just waiting to be painted, whether I get distracted by school or just want to take a break, they end up sitting there for weeks sometimes
I actually wouldn't mind seeing the process of the painting, I think that's one of the coolest parts, you can design however you want. And that whopper plopper looks awesome. Nice job 👌
The amount of art, skill and work that go into painting lures is crazy and not something I’ll dive into. I’m so glad there are people like Debo who share their talents with us.
🔥🔥🔥 my dad used to do the same and I thought he was a nut when i was younger... now I get it! When you can’t fish you make baits! 🤷🏾♂️ that winter hold over
I like the craw the original looking ones and the bluegill, the second one specifically. Since I am getting back into fishing after 20 years of not fishing I am sort of clueless as to good baits. Juddie - J & J TOA
I make my own hardbaits. Glide baits, swim baits, cranks, and topwaters. Hand carved and hand painted. I love watching other lure makers. Lmk if anyone wants one. I only do custom orders. Great viDEBO
I am pretty new to airbrushing. As a matter of fact, I am pretty new to any kind of art, and learning about the different paints has been exciting for me. I suppose I have painted about a hundred lures so far with pretty good results, though I am still just beginning to dabble with various patterns. I begin each lure with a plan; add paint until something magic comes along. It isn't very professional, but it has worked well so far. My tackle box has never looked prettier, but I still have a lot of learning to do before my work matches the quality that I see in the videos I've been watching. One thing is for sure; I am having fun. It is a great hobby to learn. I recommend it to everyone that likes to fish. I hope you'll post many more videos of your work.
Cool stuff!! The variety of quality work you're putting together is quite impressive!! Reminds me of an old Miles Davis quote: A good player can play anything he thinks of. What makes him great is what he thinks of. And you think of some REALLY great stuff! And, as always, tons of little tips for those wishing to do more themselves to learn from. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 And as I've said before, while I'd love one of your creations, I probably would just study it and never dare to fish it. 😃
I’ll take any of those wicked wild paint jobs that dive 2-7 ft. Or lipless you know. all of those paint jobs are wild man!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤘🏽 P.s. I’ll test them out for you for free lol
I saw that uv paint clear coat is super FAST ! Small size whopper plopper 75 or 90, in all black (yellow eye) and on the top have the Iowa Hawkeyes and on the bottom in yellow Writing Debo .. now that’s a nice lure Those are AMAZING
Tried finding that brand on Amazon...schels shelz ...not sure. But couldn't find them. The last thing I want is lures that don't track properly. They can look great. But if they don't run properly they are useless
Most of your "color change" paints are what's called "cameleon" paints fyi... I got brain farts all the time too sir. Fantastic work! PS- where do you get your blanks? Having a hard time finding them
Your work is very impressive. On camera, they look better then store bought. Good luck on the give away. By the way, im in SE Fl and doing alot of pond fishing 😳😜😄👍✌
Looking great! I'd love to see some more yellow perch squarebills... they are a huge part of our forage up north, and it's hard to find quality squarebills in an accurate perch pattern. S-crank... perch... that's the dream.
That translucent bluegill bait is killer! Would do awesome up her in upstate NY. The purple one was awesome too (a little gold = Vikings!). The red and black one was my favorite overall though, favorite colors. Great video as always!
That was a fun viDebo of cool lures... realistic and funky creative. Like I said on earlier on Instagram, you’re Debo Wonka making bass candy. It would be fun to see a beginning to end viDebo of you painting a lure in without too much time-lapse. I don’t have much time now, but I could see lure painting as a fun hobby after retirement. Go Hawks!
Cool video Debo. Love the painted lures, and you do a great job. I think a hinged/jointed swimbait in a bluegill pattern would work well here in Oregon. A bluegill crankbait like the first one you picked up would be killer too. Thanks for paint studio tour. So until next time...🖐️
Holy smokes, by golly, dagum! Thems are some amazing lures my man. I love all the purple pearl stuff like that light purple stripe on that first blue Gill and the purp/chart. Sucker for purple. Thank you for doing all this work. Bless you!
Love the crackle patterns. I was thinking I want a purple black chartreuse crackle jerk or a wake bait. And if I won my # two would be 1-10 ft. Crank and you go nucking futs on paint. Amazing baits beautiful job.
Hi Debo new to painting my own cranks. In this video arou6 13.27 mark you talk about a wire mesh. I can't find anything that comes close to what you use. Would you be able to send me the exact link to buy this stuff. Thank you and keep up putting out the great videos.
Man! DEBO, that was really great! Although I don’t have enough knowledge to know which of them might work. Might be fun to try. One more week of the crazy rain and cold here. Hopefully. Then maybe I’ll be able to get out. It’s been tough here but snow would’ve been worse. Good to see you. I try not to miss Tight lines
Once agian great video Debo!!! I have been looking into painting my own lures, I just haven't really had an idea of what blanks to get or airbrush kit. Hopefully I can get started with some of the tips you have provided in this video.... thanks agian brother 🙏
I really like the one at 5:34. I would love to see something like that but utilizing the colors of the old/vintage (late 80s/early 90s?) Rapala crawdad color pattern on the same bait or on a Spro Rockcrawler 55.(CW was the color code for the husky jerk I have in the color) Here is a link to an image I found of the old color pattern I am talking about: tinyurl.com/w3pkqbbb (because Rapala has had a lot of color patterns named crawdad over the years)
Man I will trade one of my custom painted for one of yours, maybe I send one as a challenge! Lol thanks for the video I love watching the painting videos, people don’t realize 50 baits is close to 25-35 hrs worth , it takes time to layer and build texture, one step at a time! How do I get in on the giveaway! I’d be honored to have a Debo custom!! Thanks again
I really enjoyed watching the painting videos. I guess it isn't for everyone. I am lucky that I can even draw a stick figure, but I found the videos really interesting to see the process. A signed crankbait from Debo though! They all look great. I really like the bluegill ones and the iridescent purple deal.
Thanks for sharing ur setup. Your painting is incredible man, you’ve grown slot since your first paintings! I’d love to get a custom lure, hopefully that’s in the cards soon! Keep killin it!
Dude, these are sick looking!!😯 They all look amazing!👍That lipless with the color shift like paint and the bright green snake eyes is kick ass and I like the ones you "messed up on" too! Great job man!
Absolutely loved the Sammy style lure with the crackle pattern! As for your signature, that’s what would make these baits priceless to us! Keep up the good work man!
Man you are definitely talented! Those are just some killer baits man. I always love seeing you do that! Have you ever tried making your own jigs or plastics? I thought about it!
Debo, thanks for showing us your setup. Pretty sweet! All those lures look killer, but if I had to pick one. That pattern on that plopper would be it!!! Would love to see a bluegill pattern on a square bill. Thanks for another great vid 👊
Very cool. I really dig your blue gill and crappie patterns. A crappie pattern lipless would be awesome for these Iowa ponds. You don't see too many of those on the market. Another great viDebo!!
No better way to get over the blues than a viDEBO
If you put on the subtitles itsays whats up fusion friends😂
i don’t know why the painting videos don’t get much views these take so much work 👊🏽 god bless brother

Love to get me a walking bait with the coveted Debo signature!

I cant wait till I can buy one of your handprinted lures!
Awesome setup dude. Would love to one day start making my own lures or even rods. I would be glad to buy some of your custom painted baits.
I would love to see the painting and process you take making lures. These look awesome! Keep the videos coming!! My young boys and I love watching your videos. Thanks for doing what ya do man👍
Pretty cool stuff, Debo!! Would love to pick up lure painting as a hobby.
Dude these are absolutely insane. Great work man. I need a Debo jerk bait now!!!
You dont have to apologize for being behind painting, I build baits from wood and I usually have at least 5-6 completed baits that are just waiting to be painted, whether I get distracted by school or just want to take a break, they end up sitting there for weeks sometimes
That's 100% true man. Life gets in the way and you just have to prioritize! Thanks for watching 👊
Guys I do bait making content. And I'm telling you each on of those lure took anywhere from 15 minutes to and hour to paint.
Hey debo I paint lures and I love following along with your panting tutorials, your awesome. Keep rockin it
I actually wouldn't mind seeing the process of the painting, I think that's one of the coolest parts, you can design however you want. And that whopper plopper looks awesome. Nice job 👌
This was a great video. Pick me for the lure give away. I'd love you to sign it... then catch one bass and retire it :-)
This was awesome. Painting lures is definitely something I'd love to get into!
So sick. I love the more "out there" patterns. Very cool. Hey, give the fish something they don't see every day! I wouldn't mind some painting vids.

All these lures are just absolutely amazing! Debo is hands down my favorite UA-camr, i always look forward to his viDebo’s
The amount of art, skill and work that go into painting lures is crazy and not something I’ll dive into. I’m so glad there are people like Debo who share their talents with us.

Debo you really know what your doing.....some of them are really freaking awesome!!!!! Great paint jobs!!!!!
I like the craw the original looking ones and the bluegill, the second one specifically. Since I am getting back into fishing after 20 years of not fishing I am sort of clueless as to good baits. Juddie - J & J TOA
If I don’t win one, I’ll definitely buy a Debo signed lure! I just started painting lures myself. To my surprise, I don’t suck too bad at it! 😂
love it when debo uploads🙌🏽
I make my own hardbaits. Glide baits, swim baits, cranks, and topwaters. Hand carved and hand painted. I love watching other lure makers. Lmk if anyone wants one. I only do custom orders. Great viDEBO

Awesome paint jobs!! You have a real talent bud👍🏼👍🏼 Keep up the great work, best of luck in your lure endeavors. I think they look amazing
Have you used India inks? They give me much less problems with airbrush cleaning and clogs.

Airbrushing is soooo much fun!! Just got 60 blanks yesterday
A crankbait painted like the Québec flag, blue and white, would be so sick
