@@pearlskitchen9999 over cooked the dhal , Need to go to the Indian store to stock up my kitchen with spices. Nxt is the egg curry dhaba style I think that's a little bit easy.
Thank you Pearl .I live in Vancouver Canada now. I grew up in Sri Lanka .We had lots of Anglo indians with us.They brought SO much richness to our culture.Sadly the politicians brought in Sinhala only and they all left. They went to Australia. We had very close friends .They were lovely people. I enjoy watching you cook all these lovely curries. God Bless you.
Well said. They enriched Sri Lankan Culture. Very unfortunate they left us due to the selfish policies local polititions. They were a very cultured people.
Pearl I made this and I ground the peppercorns, cloves and cinnamon sticks a little less of the cloves and the curry was delish, husband says I can make this anytime. Xx❤
@@pearlskitchen9999 👍👍 My late mother used to add a lump of jaggery to it to counter the taste of the tamarind. Unfortunately I'm almost seventy now and single so never get the chance to cook or eat this anymore. 🙏
@@pearlskitchen9999 Unfortunately I'm too old and not well enough as much as I would like to. I still make a mean "bad word curry" (ball curry) though. Like you I like my green chillies. 🤔☺️ 🙏

This lady is so natural in her cookery skills . Pearl is articulate, and her explanations are so well explained that there certainly is no room for ambiguity. Thank you , I’ve enjoyed watching your videos, and a thought went through my mind of how very fortunate and blessed your husband and children are to have a gifted mother as their cook ,and my perception is that you are a balanced wife and indeed a good mother to your children who undoubtedly are brought up to respect their elders and betters , not to mention their parents . Every success is wished for you, and thank you again for the immense pleasure you have brought to many by your culinary skills. Merry Christmas and a Happy healthy New Year.🙏🙏🌲🌲🌲🎼🎼🥳🥳🌹🌹🇬🇧🇬🇧

That’s Wonderful Caroline 😁👌🏻❤️
As the Dhaal curry has so much flavour and added Lamb and Dhaal it is sufficient to eat with the rice. Good combination. Thanks.
A wonderful recipe. One of my favourite meals my late mother used to make. 🤔🙄🇬🇧🇮🇳🇬🇧
Mine too! 😁🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
