I think we also need to consider the price of ownership. Just did the first desmo for my Ducati M821 & the bill was $2800. Not buying another Ducati. Parts for Aprilia where I live takes months to arrive. These are very real considerations when buying a bike which sometimes overshadow the price to buy.

As an owner of the 2019 Tuono Factory I agree with your ranking. Aprilia really didn’t need to do much to improve an almost perfect motorcycle. All they really need to do is expand their dealer network and they would sell a boatload of these! Bottom line is you can’t go wrong owning any of these motorcycles, they’re all special! Great comparison video!
exactly how I feel…the dealership where I live is poorly run, and seems like it’s going to close its doors any day. If a good dealer ever picks up Aprilia, a Tuono will be in my garage.
Agree with the verdict, the tuono v4 1100 is by far the best bike I’ve ever owned with that been said if I had the money I’d quite happily have all of these beauties in the garage 😍
I've owned a Tuono Factory for about 5 years and it is an amazing bike with the best noise in all of motorcycling. But I'm getting a little older and I was getting tired of the touchy throttle and lack of control at low throttle settings. The Ducati Streetfighter solved that issue for me so this year I traded my TV4F for an SFSV4. I actually like the looks and design of the new Tuono better than the Streetfighter but from my position the Streetfigher is far more manageable and easier to ride without sacrificing any performance. Maybe someday I'll own another Tuono but right now I cant get enough of the Ducati, its a better bike for me.
Bought 2018 tuono factory this june with 2k miles. love it, cant think of any other bike i would prefer. that sound, power, perfect suspension and frame, ok sitting position, electronic aids.... perfect
As someone that just sold their naked and is in the market for another, this comparison is right on time. I’m interested in the Tuono more now but lack of dealerships within a reasonable drive to test ride and resale values are off putting. I’d like to be able to test ride all of these bikes to see which one suits my needs/wants best but this review definitely helps to make up for it.
I've had a tuono, but wouldn't mind owning any of the others. The sound of the tuono is unbeatable. Despite the bikini fairing it is a striped rsv4, so rightly king of the nakeds.
I own a 2017 Tuono Factory and a few months back I bought a Ducati Streetfighter V4S (Parked the Tuono due to the lack of parts required to do the schedule valve check, it only took 3 1/2 months). I couldn't agree more with this review. The Ducati is too polished, to the point that unless you are really pushing it can be boring but the built quality and quality of parts used is far superior to the Tuono. The Tuono always keeps you entertained, if not by the sound then by that front wheel always fighting to leave the ground. Love both bikes but to the surprise of a few at the last Ducati meet, The Tuono is the best bike I ever owned.
@@fostytou I bet it’s gaskets. Those bikes are such leaky pieces of junk I’ve never seen a brand new motorcycle leak coolant on a showroom floor til I saw an aprillia on a showroom floor
@@monkmoto1887 the coolant leak is the clickr clamp on the pancake pipe into the radiator if the bike was old (but doesn't sound like it). A common problem across many brands that use that style of clamp. If it was one of the early 2009 or 2010 bikes it could have been a weeping engine case which plagued a few of the early model bikes but was generally replaced under warranty immediately. I've been around a ton of them over the last decade and haven't seen any other common coolant or oil leaks. Maybe the reservoir was just overfilled during the PDI. Do you know where the key was from? I've put about 70,000 miles on 2 Tuonos and haven't had a leak at all except for when my friend ran the oil pan into a giant boulder. That leak was pretty minor we still wrote it 1200 miles before I head to fix it. I've reused the gaskets but you could always just throw RTV on the valve cover gasket or take the 20 minutes to change that gasket out later when it comes in. It shouldn't hold you up from doing a valve job or riding the bike.
@@monkmoto1887 I can't own a moto that cant supply spare parts. I been hearing this about Aprillia for over a decade. I would like to own one but hearing this hinders me.
I enjoy this type of presentation over two or three men arguing for half hour from another channel. MCN definitely deserve more subs for the quality of work. Cheers.
Did a test ride on a 2020 Tuono hands down the best bike I'd ever ridden, put a deposit on a 2018 Tuono in the same shop and traded my Monster 1200S, picked up the Tuono the next week, I've had a grin on my face ever since every ride is an event. What a bike!
I’ve just got off a BMW S1000 RR. I looked at all of these bikes and bought the KTM Superduke 1290 R. Absolutely love this bike. I can chuck the Mrs on the back and it’s so comfortable. Horses for courses I suppose, but I don’t agree with your verdict though. Great review keep them coming.
own a 2017 tuono factory best bike i have ever had and I have had the LOT next bike will definitely be the 2021 tuono ! This guy knows his bikes Definitely the best bike tester out there ! Period
SDR owner here - I agree with this review. The issues that Neeves raises are legitimate: you have to be in the mood for it; the switchgear could be better; electronics can be fiddly. I leave the electronics in 'performance' mode with anti-wheelie ON, else it will lift the front wheel everywhere. I am not interested in electronically adjustable suspension. That said: all these motorcycles are superb fun, and you can't go wrong.
Well done Micheal ,At 75 years I have had many bikes including 7 Tuono,s Factorys 5 v4 and two v twins the workmanship and dealer backup has always been superb from four different dealership wherever I could get the best deal,my 2021 is the best yet ,there are one or two for £16500 still available great review as usual .
I opted for a brand new tuono factory. The day I picked it up it went into limp mode and did every time I rode for a week. Took it back to be fixed and it kept doing it!!! After a big row I got my money back and bought a superduke which is a proper bundle of crazy fun and hasn’t missed a beat. I think the S22bridgestones are a great road tyre. Might be lagging a bit on track but this won’t ever go on track, I have a track bike for that. When you are riding round the alps in the wet you will be glad you aren’t on super corsas!!!! And they have a huge dry pace that is more than good enough for the road. It’s good for 500 mile days too.. and I’m an old man!!!! I’m disappointed the Aprilia didn’t work out as I’d always fancied one but it’s put me off for good. But these bikes are so good , I’d say buy the one you think looks cool and fits your budget!!!( apart from the Tuono 😂)
It was close against the SDR, but I bought the Tuono based on your last review and launch, and I agree it’s so addictive and the discipline you need on the road is mind blowing, with the Akra the soundtrack is now my ringtone, having toured on it, it is a true work of art….thanks Michael
My mouth is watering...you mean you have improved the song this thing sings with the stock can? It's the best sounding stock motorcycle I've EVER heard!
Winner winner chicken dinner. I can’t imagine EVER selling my ‘17 Tuono. It’s best thing I own. Period. Until it starts giving me problems (it hasn’t), it’ll be in my garage.
I went with a Streetfighter V4S 2021 after a test ride on a Superduke . Compared to my previous bike (BMW s1000RR) I found the Streetfighter to be a bit flat at low revs . It is frustrating around town at constant throttle all jerky and slapping chain, on and off the throttle on a second gear junctions can be a challenge. Once out on the open road and it is a different beast , it just makes you rev it , the thing flies , incredible handling. With the Acro exhaust fitted and a racing map it is even better . I am enjoying the bike even with the frustrating road manners at slow speed . It is my first bike with upright bars for many years, but at 62 years of age I thought I should grow up a bit .
It's YOUR life, dude. Do what you want to do. If you like a certain bike you should ride it regardless of your age or what anyone else thinks about it.
Just an update, The SDR electronics on the gen 1 bikes needed to be reset at every startup, but the newer models do start with the settings they were previously on. The review was entertaining and does provide useful insight, keep them coming.
I still believe that KTM is one of few naked bikes build from the ground up, not a super bike modified, also I wonder if they will release a V4 in the near future seeing that they compete against V4's would be interesting to see what that will be like as they are great with the twin. Great review.
I have a '19 in white and I'm inclined to agree. It does everything soooo well and I look forward to every ride with no trepidation. I traded an MT09 for it and haven't missed the Yam (though that MT triple engine is a great piece of work!). This crop of super nakeds are just a bit "over the top" for me... but I'd love to own all of them!
After nearly three years of riding the Speed triple 1200RS. I would say that its comfortable an I use it for Roud Trips. But I added a riser for the handlebars. That changed a lot.
Hi, as an owner of a Streefighter V4s I can only agree to your findings. Great video! All bikes are top level but it really depends how the owner wants to ride them. Kudos Aprilia, well done.
Neevesy is the best tester on UA-cam period. Great test chaps. The Tuono sound cannot be beaten. It's always been the one to aim for [by the other manufacturers]. The Ducati is the super model of the bunch with stunning looks and poise. Money no object I would take the Streetfighter. I don't care much for the looks of the KTM but it does have a great motor. The Zh2 SE is not here but as a mental road bike it's hard to beat. It accelerates like nothing else here and always puts a grin on your face. We really are spoilt for choice these days. You pay your money and take your choice.
Video just began. No clue as to which will come out on top - did Triumph do enough? We'll see. Regardless, I was pretty freakin' happy when I saw the video title. Cheers to Mr. Neevesy and MCN ;) On with the show...
Fantastic review. I've recently become a proud owner of a 2020 tuono v4 1100 Factory and it is by far the best bike I've ever owned! Its so confidence inspiring, much faster on the road than my R1M I recently sold. I was planning on the 2021 factory, although it is a gorgeous looking bike, I am not convinced with colour choice (same thoughts to the RSV4) and lack of carbon
I have a 21 SDR. Being 6’3 it’s by far the best for me. Beyond comfortable I agree with you on paying extra for the electronics is asinine, but the buttons are easy to use. Also has the programmable toggle on the right hand to quickly turn everything off. It takes a task that takes 65 seconds down to 5 My biggest complaint on the SDR is by far the electric gas cap. PITA if you don’t know how to open it lol
I have a 2019 Tuono and I can't stop riding it because it is so much fun. It's just over a year old and I have 12,922 miles on it with 10 track days and I live in Michigan with 4 months of winter. It's the most fun bike I've ever rode.
or maybe you wanted to believe he did. You don't think Neevysy knows how to set up a comfortable suspension set up for street?? I mean i wanted to believe lamb chop too but was hoping that this guy confirmed that fiddling with suspension would make it more streetable, spring rates are simply too stiff...end off!
@@MrNufzed No skin in this game. I asked him directly in the comments and he confirmed that for his purposes he had got it as compliant as he wanted it.
You do need to dial back the Speed Suspension, I had it acceptable but its sporty still. Main drawback for me was limiting electronics and resetting when turned it on and off
@@Gorbyrev Keywords "for his purpose" and "as he wanted" so did he get it comfortable or just better, don't know don't care, I just enjoy pointing these things out.
I own a Triumph speed triple 1200 RS 2023, and it's better than what I had imagined... the bike is phenomenal. Back to the point. We all have different tastes in bikes, i have always japanese bikes but the triumph make me to change my mind..
In the end, the ranking is not important but your highlighting the (subtle) differences. With that info everyone can make their own ranking. Well done!
I've been reading and listening to Neevsey for over 15 years and he's the best in the business. Not pretentious and feels like a ate you'd ask for motorcycling advice rather than a journalist
You all owe to yourself to ride these bikes for more than 10 miles to see if it fits your needs. As a current 890R and Speed 1200 RS owner, I was looking for a motorcycle that would be an “event” to ride on the road (200 -400 mile backroads) and on the track (do nearly 3000K a year on the track). I weigh about 200 pounds without Kit and find the Speed very compliant overall and the 890R needed stiffer front cartridges. The Ducati spends its life in 2nd gear and sometimes 3rd gear and difficult to use/enjoy on public roadways. The Aprilia is a glorious bike but that heat and the urge to go fast never quits (lethal track bike). The Italian bikes have absolutely no fuel range. The BMW is the best Japanese bike made in Europe - sorry but it is not a super naked. The 1290R is an exceptional road bike, a true riot to ride but I wanted something more focused for the track and I didn’t want to spend money on updating the Duke for the track. Frankly the 890 Duke R will terrorize all these bikes on the road and I have yet to have been out lapped on it by any of these bikes at the track. I chose the Triumph bc it has stellar build quality, aesthetic appeal, sound road/touring manners and will and kick some serious arse at track as well with no extra fiddling or cash investment. On the move, it feels like a 400 pound bike (kid you not!) and it will cost you a lot of money to replicate this lithe feeling with the others. Again, ride them all and see which one meets your needs and have at it. Cheers.
Thanks for the feedback! I've got 3 sportbikes at the moment and will lose one, probably an R1M, for my next bike. Her Street Triple is 90% of what I want in a motorcycle, and our rides tend to go 160-180 miles. One of the things I hate about my bikes is that I go empty at around 105 miles when at speed with the "the boys", a little more when I ride with my wife. How far does the Speed go on a tank? Is the gas gage accurate? Are the electronics as intrusive as they say? And how hard is it on tires? One of the things I love about her Street is that it doesn't eat tires.... I go thru a rear like an RS10 in about 1800-2000 miles and the fronts don't usually make it to the normal "replace it every other rear tire" interval I used to get away with. Maybe I should just get a Street Triple of my own?
i never rode any of these but on the oad i am sure i would put my money on bikes like 890 against these. 1000+cc is just not usable on the road. lugging a superbike at around 60 miles shouldnt be as much fun as carving corners full throttle with even a 250cc bike
I've ridden the top 3, and will take the Super Duke all day... I'm quite tall (195cm/6'4"), so I find it fits me well compared to the tiny Tuono. That said, it really is the most fun of all the bikes. Sure, the Aprillia sounds great and the Ducati is really pretty and faaaaaast, but the LC8 is a special engine and there simply isn't a bike on this list that will make you smile more than the SDR.
Great film. These bikes are all a bit hardcore for me, but I enjoyed following your thought process. And nice to see V engines dominating the top spots. Inline fours remind me too much of cars.
What an enthralling review, I was gona get the bmw, the tuono just launched in where I'm living perfect timing With the review THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR. Neeves, it hasn't been that long since I started riding 20s
I am a Tuono V4 and Speed Triple fan boy. I own one of each albeit older models. I was of course very interested about trying the 2021 versions of the Aprilia and Triumph. I did, on the same route two days apart. The Tuono is fantastic but is a facelift of the previous model. Compared to the Triumph it feels a generation older, which it is. The Speed Triple 1200RS is the best motorcycle I have ever experienced. OK, the engine in the Tuono is still the best engine ever and tops even the fantastic new 1160 triple. But the Triumph is a better bike, steers faster, brakes better, the engine is stronger, the gearbox/quickshift more precise, is easier to ride, more comfortable. Only the TFT is a letdown being too small and slow
For me? This sounds picky AF, but range of the bikes. Triumph will crowd 300 kms to a tank. The Tuono, you'd be lucky to get 230kms out of it. And its got a bigger tank! Lol If that's the biggest concern...hahaha But im only 5'10 200lbs, the KTM is actually too tall for me lol
@Shalin dampen the Olin's down to nothing and get a seat cushion lol Even on the softest setting the suspension on the speedy 1200 is still lots stiff. It is extremely track focused
Thanks. I have been hanging for a new compare of the naked’s. Idea- Would be great if you could get a group of riders together and do a trip with them to compare living with them a bit. Fuel distances, seat heat and comfort, headlights, gearbox ratios and shifting, ride modes etc like you have done in the past. As you suggested you could tour with some of them when needed. I’d imagine the KTM would have the most low down torque so be more fun on a tight twisty road? Torque can fun without needing a squillion rpm to get it. But maybe it has more vibes? Good reason for you and some mates to head off to watch a MotoGP. Hard to please everyone I know so thanks for this.
Super Duke for 22 addressed the modes and 2 used defined quick mode and the new EVO fully Automatic suspension is the stuff. I own one because of the changes.
Outstanding comparo review as usual Neevsy. Considering the fact that I don't have a track within cooee of my town, I reckon the new Triumph Speed Twin should satisfy my occasional requirement to be a hooligan. Thanks again mate.
I ride smaller bike, a 2018 street triple 765rs so this review is really not for me atm. But, i have to say that your presentation and this review in general is top notch. What a great channel.
Such a great analysis. I’d love to have them all! Can’t wait to see the M1000R update as it’s almost like they saw this video and put the shiftcam engine in to answer the call.
Thanks for the great shootout Michael. The new Speed Triple is personal fav of mine in terms of looks. Also, I like the idea of non-electronic Ohlins suspension. My car's electronic suspension has had all sorts of problems during the years and I wished so many times that my car had conventional ones instead of those. One complaint I have about the S3 is that it sounds a bit clinical and for some reason it lacks after market exhaust options. Triumph used to offer arrow mufflers and the full exhaust, but for the new model they offer nothing!!
Cue lots of disgruntled owners of the others to say Neevsy got it wrong etc etc but I, like many others trust his reviews and vast experience and given I am going to shell out on one of these next spring I very much value these tests. Nice one Neevsy and Tuono here I come!
I enjoyed that , thanks ! Funny how different people perceive beauty, the Ducati looks too much like a bike showing it's entrails, massive radiator, not the prettiest motor and worse is the big prolapse of an exhaust- that's the negative of not really having a frame I suppose, nothing to hide behind. Shame Triumph have fitted overly stiff springs, I love the look of it.
The Triumph has a great seat and is fast, but that streetfighter is bonkers. And the V4 makes the best sound. Hoping to ride the Tuono next week. And plus for the Triumph and Aprilia, cheaper to insure from what I’ve found
I own a 2019 Tuono Factory and have just recently picked up the 1290SDR. All round better bike is still the Tuono but...on the day you wake up with a really bad case of the F around. The Duke is the absolute weapon of choice.
@@evaggelospasiakos1521 you're 100% on that. That was the issue with Gen 1 and 2. I have the Gen 3 but no prior experience with earlier model so can't really comment if they've fixed the rad support yet.
I found the 2021 Tuono Factory felt cheap in comparison to my 2018 Tuono Factory. The Ducati wipes the floor with the rest of them for quality feel. I am waiting for my 2021 Ducati Street Fighter S to be delivered. I cant wait. Will be time to say goodbye to the Tuono after 17k miles ive done on it from new. Been a great bike but I don't like the 2021 Tuono's cheap feel so the Ducati is the best for me.
I owned a 17' Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and loved that engine and its sound BUT I did not trust it, had problems with it the very first day I bought it and Aprilia did not pay to fix it, the dealership had to eat the cost. Also, Aprilia headquarters said if I put an aftermarket exhaust on it the warranty will be voided because it will no longer be street legal. Honestly, it's true that if you want a reliable bike without issues stick with Japanese motorcycles. The only bikes I had problems with were the Italian motorcycles I owned so far, Aprilia and Ducati.
Well technically they aren’t wrong, if you put on a aftermarket non approved non homologated exhaust could void your warranty (engine/potential running issues).
Sadly this seems to be true, as almost everyone that I have talked about who has owned or owns a tuono, talks about the bad reliability. This is the thing that puts me off of buying one eventhough I am in the market for a supernaked. I just wish that yamaha would come out with a new MT10 in 2022, or that kawasaki manages to put in an exciting Z1000 kind of bike (I dont really have confidence in Suzuki/honda coming out with an 'exciting' super naked).
They've been super reliable for years now. CycleCruza (I've seen his channel) is not representative of the new Tuono. The problem with these bikes come after you put a sloppy mechanic on it. If you buy one, you need to have a responsible mechanic work on it really only when valves need adjusting, but other than that it's very Japanese like in terms of reliability these days.
Ive had my 2020 1290 SDR for a year now and i love it. And i never have to reset my settings, once theyre set they stay set, unless its changed for 2021?
I rode the Turono and SDR back to back for about an hour on each thanks to my friends at the stealership. Both amazeballs, but the SDR got my pick due to the larger dealer network and V-Twin torque and hooliganism that it brings. Even at 50, doing 120mph stand ups and rolling burnouts and then canyon carving and then a few track days to boot it is the shiz.
@@Lex-Rex yeah i understand your feelings, i loved sdr. I love that massive amount of torque! But hearing about Aprilia constantly i feel i should check it out before i get sdr :)
For anyone trying to decide between the KTM and the Aprilia, if you are an old motocrosser and just want a giant play machine for the road and value speed giggles more than lap times go get the KTM, if you want a do-it-all bike that sounds incredible and that you can commute on while also being able to tear up a trackday go Aprilia. I've owned both; KTM then Aprilia and I will probably keep my Tuono but I will be getting another Superduke!
calling the aprilia a naked kinda feels like being told there's a naked supermodel in the closet, and finding out she's wearing a bathing suit. Still nice, but she ain't naked.
Why closet why not bedroom ,car, house, hotel room, or garage, closet sounds like you might want to dive deeper into this , see if they're any toys in the attic
@@Unclefacts You're entitled to your opinion, but why would you be against a 1/2 fairing that deflects the windblast while still giving good engine access for maintenance?
I really enjoy your videos. At least because you always say that the Tuono is the best. I now own my second V4 Tuono (2020)) had a RSV4 and still have on of my V2 Tuonos in my garage. So I'm kind of a fan. But when I ride with my buddies (SD2.0, S1000R, in the italian alps I swear that not the bike makes the difference. 🤣
The S1000R is the best bike here; like Neevesy said it's the best road bike of the 5, and that's why you buy a naked bike - to ride on the road. It's just not a hypernaked, it doesn't belong in this group. If you need the hypernaked bragging rights the Aprilia is definitely the most complete of the remaining 4. Good luck with any kind of warranty claim, though.
Waiting for the updated mt10 sp 2022 and a round shootout with that in 2022. Aprilia still god of the game for sure but if you want aprilia engine character with ultimate reliability i think mt10 sp is the one..

Cheers.
Can only thought about one channel 😂😂
I disagree. I enjoy the conversation
100% agree Neeves the best, no attempt to be a comedian etc, just facts & honest review from someone whose cv can't be matched
Why would you ride a 2020, then buy a 2018? Lol
most bizarre thing of the Tuono is its beautiful exhaust sound even with the stock can. absolute pleasure to my ears
That tuono sound is glorious.
Amazing content Neevesy and MCN. Thank you.
Almost picked up a Ducati streetfighter v4 but got myself a Tuono factory again (-21) Love this bike!
Funny, I also went to the dealer to buy a Streetfighter but I bought a Tuono Factory instead. It's the best bike I've ever ridden.
You made the right choice.
I still want the Ducati Street Fighter V4....AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Love the great review!!!!
How is the reliability going so far?
I'm getting my 2020 1290R tomorrow 😊
own a 2017 tuono factory best bike i have ever had and I have had the LOT
next bike will definitely be the 2021 tuono ! This guy knows his bikes
Definitely the best bike tester out there !
The people that disliked the Tuono should get their covid test, because one of the main symptoms is no taste.
Too much fairings for a naked… and for me 2 cylinders too much… ;-)
Boom
I like it! So I prolly don't have covid. It's not my favourite, but Aprilia sure makes hella good bikes
Lol, agreed, I just think it has too many fairings still, so I just have a hard time calling it a naked bike.
It's because they've never ridden one. Once you do that your ruined for life.
Give me the KTM all day out of this group. Definitely looks like the most fun.
Hope they stay with V-twins!
@@spenkystar If they decide to go V4 hopefully the V twin will still be available, it is a great engine
I hope they keep it a V twin and increase displacement or go forced induction. The big torque is its signature.
2020 SDR owner here, yes that engine is a honeypot. The torque is so addictive.
A V4 with a supercharger!!!!
Amazing review as always!! I ride a 2020 Speed Triple S and for me, it’s the perfect road bike!!
@@fido0825 Which MT09 did you have? I just sold my gen 2 and am looking at either getting the Gen 3 SDR or the 1050 Speed RS
Get the Speed3 : I just picked up a lightly used 2017 "R" and absolutely love the thing.
Go Tuono (again), this news makes me happy :)
Superb to see a group test again, great stuff and I look forward to the future ones.
More on the way...
Superlative review, well done MCN crew! Thank you for the effort. Ciao.
Beyond comfortable
I agree with you on paying extra for the electronics is asinine, but the buttons are easy to use. Also has the programmable toggle on the right hand to quickly turn everything off. It takes a task that takes 65 seconds down to 5
My biggest complaint on the SDR is by far the electric gas cap.
Lamb Chop managed to dial out the stiffness on the Speed Triple. Great review, thanks for posting.
or maybe you wanted to believe he did.
@@LambChopRides The spring rates are still too stiff for the road chops.
Soo proud to own the best super naked bike on the planet :) Mine is 5 years old with 33 000 kms without any issues. I love this thing!
I own a Triumph speed triple 1200 RS 2023, and it's better than what I had imagined... the bike is phenomenal. Back to the point. We all have different tastes in bikes, i have always japanese bikes but the triumph make me to change my mind..
Ya spot on Micheal that aprilia is just incredible and better than the v4s .. I’m blown away
In the end, the ranking is not important but your highlighting the (subtle) differences. With that info everyone can make their own ranking. Well done!
Thank you very much for a honest review of this fantastic super naked bikes,But and But I still love my 2020 Super Duke R….
I've been reading and listening to Neevsey for over 15 years and he's the best in the business. Not pretentious and feels like a ate you'd ask for motorcycling advice rather than a journalist
Nice one Michael. Great new presentation.
Cheers.
Just fitted the Racefit exhaust to my new 1200 Speed OMG it's amazing, I love this bloody bike and the handling 👌👌👌
What do you think of 890R vs 1200RS just for street riding? I went with the Triumph as I couldn't score a ride on the KTM.
Best bike review video I’ve ever watched. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this video how fortunate you are to be able to use all those bikes beautiful
superb review! thank you once again, always a great pleasure to watch your reviews and analysis! greetings from Still Bay South Africa!
2020 Tuono owner sounds superb with the Akrapovic exhaust setup.
Love my Superduke. It is the best for all- day comfort and incredible at everything.
Great film. These bikes are all a bit hardcore for me, but I enjoyed following your thought process. And nice to see V engines dominating the top spots. Inline fours remind me too much of cars.
Thank you Mr. Neeves for yet another quality and in depth review. I'm sure it was a real bother to ride all these beauties around for the day!!? :)
What an enthralling review, I was gona get the bmw, the tuono just launched in where I'm living perfect timing With the review THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR. Neeves, it hasn't been that long since I started riding 20s
I love Aprilia, I'd get the tuono, rsv4, rs660 and an adv if they ever make one.
The Boss has spoken.Thanks.
Lol
If that's the biggest concern...hahaha
But im only 5'10 200lbs, the KTM is actually too tall for me lol
@Shalin dampen the Olin's down to nothing and get a seat cushion lol
Even on the softest setting the suspension on the speedy 1200 is still lots stiff. It is extremely track focused
@Shalin lol that's a big step dude lol more than 100hp jump in power
I pick up my 2021 Tuono Factory this weekend. I can't wait!!
Great review. Many thanks! A part 2 comparison with these bikes on a racetrack would be fantastic..🙏
Yes that would be great!
What a fantastic review, I just wish there was more of this!
Watch this space...
Fantastic work MCN lot 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you so much 😀
That triumph is so stunning tho 😍
Another amazing review! I just can't get my head around the design/aesthetics of the Aprilla. I think the BMW or Streetfighter will be next for me.
Fanstatic reviews, best video and thanks for being the most comprehensive review channel! Well doner MCM.
great reveiw mate!
When Mr Neeves said, "The BMW is the best road bike" that was good enough for me to go and buy one!
hi, did you buy one and how is it
@@iansmith232 Yes I did and very happy. Now running restrictor has been removed even better! Great dealer back up with 3 years warranty
Only bike I've takin to the track I didn't need to stiffen up the suspension. But it can be a jarring ride on a rough road.
What does Neevesy have against the S22's on the KTM? Great tyres in my experience
Have to agree. To me it somehow looks like a pig with its belly hanging down.
the triumph looks really clean
Thanks for the great comparison. Can't wait for your 2021 superbike shootout Michael.
The Triumph has a great seat and is fast, but that streetfighter is bonkers. And the V4 makes the best sound. Hoping to ride the Tuono next week.
And plus for the Triumph and Aprilia, cheaper to insure from what I’ve found
by the sounds of it, you need all of them depending on your mood! :)
I own a 2019 Tuono Factory and have just recently picked up the 1290SDR. All round better bike is still the Tuono but...on the day you wake up with a really bad case of the F around. The Duke is the absolute weapon of choice.
Until your radiator starts leaking. Lmao.
@@evaggelospasiakos1521 you're 100% on that. That was the issue with Gen 1 and 2. I have the Gen 3 but no prior experience with earlier model so can't really comment if they've fixed the rad support yet.
Excellent review. Always a pleasure 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
I've got the 2021 Streetfighter V4S and love it plus looks so much better quality than the Tuono
I've owned two Tuono's - a 2003 MY from back in the day and a new 660 Factory. I'd love to give one of the V4s a go.
Some people like motorcycles, others like appliances.
@@BizAutomation4U Do you own one? Which one and what year and miles?
To me the Tuono is also the prettiest; and she's gotta be, not only clever, but also a delight to look at...
Ive had my 2020 1290 SDR for a year now and i love it. And i never have to reset my settings, once theyre set they stay set, unless its changed for 2021?
That’s same here! Never reset like anti wheelie mode off or rider mode. 🤷♂️
Thanks for an awesome review. I guess i need to test ride that Aprilia!
I will have to agree I have the 1100 and it’s a fantastic bike and that motor is the best sounding in the business
Great review and couldn’t agree more. The Tuono is fantastic 👍
My 2018 Tuono pulls like a train, sounds fantastic. The Ducati is a work of art tho.
calling the aprilia a naked kinda feels like being told there's a naked supermodel in the closet, and finding out she's wearing a bathing suit. Still nice, but she ain't naked.
Why closet why not bedroom ,car, house, hotel room, or garage, closet sounds like you might want to dive deeper into this , see if they're any toys in the attic
To me, that small fairing on the Tuono is a big plus; I don't like being blown around by the windblast.
Naked ain’t what it used to be.
It's an awesome bike, but it ain't naked.
I love both of my Tuonos, I'm glad he's still the leader.
Don't even need to watch to know which one comes out on top with Neeves reviewing
but you watched anyway, hoping that he would pick Doocardee Streetfighter as the winner eh ! lol, they are all winners, we are spoilt nowadays with so many choices, just depends on how much you want to spend .
@@JoUtan01Of course I watched, but I knew the SF never stood a chance. With the MT10 out, the real suspense was going to be who ended up on the bottom this year.
Neevesy's shootout's must be the biggest influence in people's purchases of new bikes
