Well, since the CEO gave himself more money, he can do more work! So tell them if he wants more hours worked with fewer workers, he can get off his lazy butt and pitch in!!
Seriously! And this is why I hate the Boomer generation so much! Because even just a decade ago, everyone in the Boomer generation were defending CEOS as the hardest workers and capitalism as way better than socialism. Now that the Boomers have retired and the millennials and Gen Z have had to pick up the slack, they are so glad to no longer have to work this monster called capitalism that THEY created.
@@denisemayosky1955 It would be wonderful if it worked that way, but it doesn’t. We are forced to remember who holds the power, and it’s definitely not the front-line workers (unless you’re in a union).
@@GS-cg3yn They seem to forget that they can't do anything without us "front-line workers". If they really held all the power, they wouldn't need to try so desperately to game the system in their favor. Ever notice that? They just have the unfair advantage of buying off the powers that would keep them in check, so they look the other way while these corporate schoolyard bullies push around the younger kids.
We are all in the same boat. Some are rowing 24/7 and some determine the beat. One tells everybody that 24/7 is not enough and that they must arrive in time no matter what, but at no extra cost.
I just left a job like that. They could only hire people who don't show up on time and people with absentee problems because the wage they pay is so low. Let the HR manager do my job lol
my guess is they dont get much extra if they get any at all, they want free time is what they want, yes if we are a team why is the manager not pitching in? all this talk about team and family is bull, if we are family can I have the number to dad (ceo)? I want to borrow the yacht for a party with my friends. or can I use the farrari? oh I forgot I need to visit the summer home for my vacations. family, give me a break. rules for thee not for me.
CEO's are hired by the board and are often hired via contract. They are actually 1099 Employees who obtain compensation via their contract. These contracts also lay out *SCHEDULED* bonuses every year depending on the performance of the company. If you're suffering staffing issues its mainly the CFO's fault all the way down to your manager because typically everything needed for funding has to be submitted during the scheduled period to be allocated via budget. The propaganda and misinformation of "hurr durr, I'm going to give myself a million dollars" is something born out of Hollywood than actually being set in reality.
NOT IN THE BUDGET. FOR YOU.. BUT LOTS AND LOTS FOR CEO, AND MANAGEMENT. 😢
This one I don't understand. You budgeted for the people who quit working there so where did that money go?

No Managers staying late, only frontline workers - oh yeah ? like the frontline in a war zone ...
Exactly.
Oh, you are so right on that. There is a big difference between the enlisted and officers.
Time doesn’t make itself: and babysitters and household help is expensive costs that overtime pay could not cover.
You just know Veronica’s manager goes home every night and thinks about quitting and opening an Etsy shop. 😄
How many times have I heard similar, but our managers picked up shifts too.
I love these. Thank you.
If they can't afford to hire people to do the work then the company is failing. Look for a new job.
God yes.
CEOs and Managers should have to fill in the front lines.

Todaloo!...

This is when you walk.
Number one reason why I quit last job
End stage capitalism.
you're calling it end stage, but what you lack is vision. believe me, the man is already thinking of ways even further beyond
If one more salary isn't in the budget then how is paying for extra hours and shifts for all the "frontline" employees?

Well just pick this up another day - I’m good, because I promise you I won’t be here that day….
Smh at Capitalism!!!!!!

Ok, if the company is doing so good that they get these massive bonuses, why is there no budget for the staff?
