5:04 i can see that bird duchess combo being tweaked, but granted the potential for long cool downs maybe that kind of combo could be a risk and or waste in many different boss scenarios?
2:32 I heard in an interview that the round table hold will be more modified for night reign so my theory is that this cutscene will be played for all characters as they are readying up for their next game
Very Speculative, but imagine if having a certain team member can unlock special abilities for you. Like the Archer gains the storm arrow as long as they have a guardian on their team. Or the Duchess gains increased stealth, maybe called a stormcloak or something with the guardian. Maybe the Recluse can enchant the blades of the samurai or demon, so while the samurai normally has an unenchanted blade, if the duchess uses an ability in holden light the samurai gets the golden light buff.
I feel like the ability that we see the bullgoat use doesn't actually sends him into the air, he just rises the rock from the ground and then does a jump attack from above.
I'm no fan of co-op, but I am stoked for this game. I do hope the roster will have a few more character options before the finish, a Belmont style whip and throwables fighter, a close range brawler like Dryleaf Dane or Hoarah Loux or some sort of mounted warrior may be fun. Or a firekeeper style pyromancer, a long range miracle caster and a dragon communion mutant... the options are endless.
As someone who's been playing dark souls since 2011, I'm looking at this with new fresh eyes. I would suggest anyone who loves these games to do the same. They aren't switching up on us, miyazaki has stated he wants to give other up and coming developers in fromsoft a chance to shine!
Arguably, I think the best spirit ash summon is Black Knife Tiche. It would be nice to see her make an appearance in this game. The amount of bleed damage I could do while healing the group would be awesome. 👏🏻
Hard to say yet. From the limited info available out to this point, the swordsman (or woman, she looks more like a woman to me) looks like something a guy that started NG+ in ER-SotET just to play a deflecting tear, quality Milady (that would be me), would maybe willing to give it a try. But it's still too early to tell. We need more info on possible weapon/armor loads, and build styles.
Theres no armor loads on the game. It's known that your appearance it's fixed, only changable by unlockable skins. In exchange, every weapon hold in one of your six slots gives you the perks and stats you would expect from said kind of gear.
@@ilejovcevski79 Hard to say because we haven't (Or at least not that I'm aware of) seen any instance of the characters using a different weapon class.
I wonder if there will be a way to customize the appearance of our characters. Personally, I wish we could get the ability to "snapshot" whatever pieces of equipment we find during a run as pure cosmetic items we can keep for all runs so we can build the look of our characters and feel them more personal even if they're presets.
@ appreciate it. Just posted it with your link in description. Not sure it’ll do well but feel free to peep. Nice work on your video !! Stoked for nightrein and look forward to seeing your future content
My guess for the guardian is a hint to From Softs next game. Because from every other From Soft game we see something in this game (except for Demon Souls, but I am pretty sure there is something to see in an upcoming Trailer or so). There are bosses from every Dark Souls game, one of the characters looks a lot like from Dark Souls and there is the character that looks like the firekeeper from Dark Souls 3. Then there is the Duchess who is clearly from Bloodborn. We see a fight against an Omen where we see the fighting mechanics from Sekiro. And then there is a lot from Elden Ring. That leaves the guardian as the only thing that is not from any From Soft game. So my guess is, there is a game upcoming with this birds.
The duchess *is* the character that looks like the Firekeeper. If you look closely, both use the same head and boots. Imo, she it's a homage to every souls maiden across the series. Referencing Maria, The Firekeeper and the introduction of Melina.
Would be real cool to see a compilation of fight styles from the various games. I miss bloodborne and sekiro, and souls combat just feels so clunky to me now.
Insane guesses dude! They all feel quite plausible to me Anyway, it would be SO SAD if the parry was just for the ability of the "demon". If the duchess has permanent BB dashing, she should have a permanent Sekiro parry!
Will the mage have improved magic system just like how they improved the archer class What I meant by better class is rather than scrolling the magic on your screen it would be amazing if they make an assigned button for a magics which you put in in your wand just like ash of war.
Honestly, I think it's a bad idea to look at this games lore as "non cannon." From what's been described, it's more of a divergent story than a non cannon rewrite.
I'm excited as hell as the replay ability in this kind of thought. I love elden ring but I feel it's to long to replay over and over. It's not a bad thing by any means but the amount of time it takes for someone that can't help but to be someone that goes every inch every playthough. Ita hard to start up again if not enough time has passed and to find the time to playing it having work 50 plus hours a week gone every other weekend and having a family. The thought of this I can hop on some more often without feeling like I'll forget something because I haven't been on in a week
The fact that PUBG did the shrinking circle first, and yet this is a "Fortnite-like" Is ridiculous. It's lazy reporting and biased. Not every game is a copy of other games because they use one mechanic *Looks at palworld*
It's not even "fornite-like" or "pubg-like" it's only using that one element haha. That said, people tend not to think of systems by who did it first, rather who did it "best," which is totally subjective.
There better be a Horah Loux style warrior class that lets me bear wrestle and shout down the Night King.
Hmmm…might…have to make ulfric stormcloak and be toxic in base game pvp…
You might be able to equip hand to hand/dry leaf arts on most of the characters so you could potentially do that with any class.

Let me solo her shoutout or a jar warrior of some sort because of the wide spread love of iron fist alexander

Birdo and Swordsman!!!
Interested to see how much of your guesses have landed, along with what other surprises Night Reign has in store.
There’s a weird basilisk style guy near the end of the trailer that I figured was supposed to be one of the playable characters. Food for thought
I've seen that thought as well but I believe that's going to be one of the many bosses we can run into
@@square-table-gamingI would play as Basilisk guy 100% if playable

There are character skins!
@YoannBB That's also fine, I wish it was more flexible. I like choosing my fashion piece by piece.

Totally fighting nameless king with the hawk warrior

Sword Saint or something along those lines for the samurai class
Thanks for the breakdown
