I personally would've thought the bloodfiends were demihumans by their faces alone more than hornsent. And if not for the fact they try to kill you on sight, alot of the enemies in the game I would've pitied. Souls games in general make to rethink the enemies you fight. Also, appreciate the DLC expanding on the Formless Mother, even if only a little.
So, if the tribe was subjugated, then most likely they lived in the outer dredges of typical society. Which means they most likely lived in makeshift communities. Which means they most likely lived among rats and filth. Perhaps during their transformation the Mother of Truth just transformed all life in the area rather than in an individual basis. Which created this amalgamation of life we see now.

I think the existence of Mogh kinda shoots down Last Protagonist's theory that the blood rituals remove horns. I also think that the hornsent ere clearly not the only people living in the lands between when Messmer torched the place. One thing too, is that the curseblades do not explicitly say that they are themselves hornsent. In fact the mask of the ascetics mentions that the horns on it were attached to it to be able to invoke divinity. Implying that the curseblade wearer is not divine without the mask, thus lacking horns of their own. Even the Divine beast helm says that the horns are attached to it. I suspect that humanity is something that can be gained or lost and that the demi-humans are in a way partial humans. Aspiring humans if you will. Some also so incredible agility like that of the curseblades. So my suspicion is that the Bloodfiends are indeed corrupted demi-humans who were part of the hornsent kingdom but were not themselves hornset or more specifically they themselves lacked horns. The demi-humans even wear similar clothing. I think the main thing against them being demi-humans, however, is their hair. Hornsent seem to tend to have white hair, however. So it's still hard to say.
It's heavily implied there was a bear-hunting Highland people, and possibly Romina who also seems to lack horns could have been of some other race. Same of Midra, who definitely wasn't a Hornsent.

This time instead of killing Malena, malenia awoke as finlay stabbed jer she did not receive the large dosage Trina lilies who caused her to be unconscious for 24h in the erased events. Malenia killed finlay, Finlay's dying words saying that malenia will pay for that terrible faner and asked morgott to do something about it because she thought she paid morgott to protect her(she didn't she halluctanted it because she drank some of the godrick brand orange juice on the way to the haligtree). Malenia asked morgott to explain this and morgott asked hewg to do some spirit tuning on finlayz Turing finlay into a spirit summon.

I personally would've thought the bloodfiends were demihumans by their faces alone more than hornsent. And if not for the fact they try to kill you on sight, alot of the enemies in the game I would've pitied. Souls games in general make to rethink the enemies you fight.
Also, appreciate the DLC expanding on the Formless Mother, even if only a little.
I like the theory that they are the ones behind the man-fly disease, getting revenge on their former oppressors.

So, if the tribe was subjugated, then most likely they lived in the outer dredges of typical society. Which means they most likely lived in makeshift communities. Which means they most likely lived among rats and filth. Perhaps during their transformation the Mother of Truth just transformed all life in the area rather than in an individual basis. Which created this amalgamation of life we see now.

What if the BloodFiends mutated like this because they got cut off from the mother thanks to the vail? Similar to how the locust went feral in gears 3 after losing connection to the hollow
Why would the mother of wounds only pay attention to physical wounds and not emotional ones? Maybe she does and that's why she listens to bloodfiends and Mohg
I think the existence of Mogh kinda shoots down Last Protagonist's theory that the blood rituals remove horns. I also think that the hornsent ere clearly not the only people living in the lands between when Messmer torched the place.
One thing too, is that the curseblades do not explicitly say that they are themselves hornsent. In fact the mask of the ascetics mentions that the horns on it were attached to it to be able to invoke divinity. Implying that the curseblade wearer is not divine without the mask, thus lacking horns of their own. Even the Divine beast helm says that the horns are attached to it.
I suspect that humanity is something that can be gained or lost and that the demi-humans are in a way partial humans. Aspiring humans if you will. Some also so incredible agility like that of the curseblades.
So my suspicion is that the Bloodfiends are indeed corrupted demi-humans who were part of the hornsent kingdom but were not themselves hornset or more specifically they themselves lacked horns. The demi-humans even wear similar clothing.
I think the main thing against them being demi-humans, however, is their hair. Hornsent seem to tend to have white hair, however. So it's still hard to say.
It's heavily implied there was a bear-hunting Highland people, and possibly Romina who also seems to lack horns could have been of some other race. Same of Midra, who definitely wasn't a Hornsent.
My feeling is Mohg and Morgot tried to kill them selves and she appeared in the blood, one accepted her one didn't. That is why Mohg has red phantom in the shunning grounds... Morgot refused and was given grace got, resurected by the Erd tree.. Maybe that is why there golden phantom of him. Also that cursed blood thing could have to do with incest. If Godwin is their father. Just googled something called Hapsburg jaw might be connected to the rodent like mouth.

It's throughout the whole video. Put on headphones or turn your TV volume up. It's the entire video. It's a low high pitched sound. Which is there to give the video a creepy atmosphere. Which I get. But it's distracting.
