I love those people, they make great videos. But that Bayliner is back from when Bayliner still made amazing boats and probably has 8 times the power and is a MUCH more capabable boat
Great job Alfred, Haulover was relatively calm, but I want to commend you for explaining the method on how to “Trim Up” a boat, it’s amazing how many “operators” don’t know this simple technique… An it’s no wonder why they keep stuffing their bows…!!!
After watching all of these different Miami boat videos for several months, my new goal in life is to own the first Midnight Express on our little inland reservoir in North East Ohio. I'm thinking six 450Rs would be about right.
I would love to see more smaller boat like the grey 1 with inboard big blocks.....I'm coming just to see how bad it is in my bajaonly 25' but handles Atlantic wit a ruff ride and definitely out of the water!!!! 80% of the time
Hello Alfred I happen to love all your shows, but the one that really gets me is the Chit show at Haulover marina. Those ramps are so easy to put your boat in and taking out, I have to think why would you not put on your emergency brake or parking brake while you are putting your boat in the water. Those people that don't put the brakes on, there is nothing you can say except call your insurance company???????????.
If the Murder Hornets aren’t out in large numbers, and a Midnight Express isn’t stuffing the bow, Haulover isn’t firing. It’s a duck pond out there, please give us the boat ramp Chit show!
Whats fun about the " King of Haulover " guy, is thats actually a early 90s Bayliner, back when they still made REALLY good boats, not the cheap crap they put out now
Alfred just by mentioning Don Francisco name I found out his net worth was around (hold your breath) 200 million $ and he is original from Chili 80 years old. if wikipedia is close that’s a cool find in your video. thank you be safe.
That one bouncing so bad must not know what the tootle switch is for. He had those two outboards trimmed all the way down, then the family came through with smaller single outboard trimmed up and did much better with far less freeboard/bow.

Am I required to have Radar? Radar is not required on vessels under 1600 GT (33 CFR 164.35), however, Rule 7 states that proper use shall be made of radar equipment if fitted and operational. In other words, whoever has one must use it. The Navigation Rules are not meant to discourage the use of any device, rather they expect prudent mariners to avail themselves of all available means appropriate...as to make full appraisal of the situation (Rule 5), e.g. the use of radar. At issue is whether the use of radar is appropriate in the prevailing circumstances and that is a determination made by the Master; and, ultimately decided by a trier of fact. Should you be in a collision how would a judge/jury rule on your contention that the use of radar was impracticable (due to electrical drain, crew shortages, etc.)? Also, if a collision does occur, then there was obviously a risk of collision beforehand. Could the determination of that risk have been made sooner with the use of radar? It is difficult to answer such questions because the circumstances of each case are different. ---the FCC requires all boaters with VHF radios to -monitor either channel 9 or channel 16 when you’re not communicating on another channel. From N. E. O' here. What's your lake?
@@godfreydaniel2308 Berlin, and Milton. Ridiculously small.
@@bige.3474 Milton is in no way shape or form big enough or deep enough in some spots for a Midnight Express. They need lots of draft
@@bige.3474 Milton is my main spot. Been fishing it since probably around '70.

Alfred, with your move to Haulover, you're gonna have a heart attack! Chill a little bit, bro. LOL
Love these haulover videos from you!! All is right in the world lol
There was a little chop out there but the waves were spaced a little close. A lot of people got off easy instead of stuffing the bow.

Don Francisco is one of those South American German refugees. From Ww2
