Maybe in the early days but not now, the prices of everything are lower, I actually lost a lot lucent making an alt because I liked playing it and became a second main to me spending lucent to gear it
as a free to play user i do have 2 characters, and i've sold more than 15k lucent with my alt just by doing dungeons and weekly, i have 2.7k cp on my alt and he's boosting my main, alr at 3.5k
also, action house its shared between servers, so there is no such thing as "better economy" moving to a different server looking for "a better economy" has no sense at all
I recently created a new character. Immediately I understood that it is not worth it. There is no sinergy between characters. Only acceptable if main character has reached the limits of the game. Highest cp traits all quests done etc.
NA early access is an aquarium of whales lmao, I created an alt there just to farm lucent. Even the most useless basic stuff is turbo boosted in price. Creating an alt is good if you like the content you are doing. Im enjoying doing dungeon runs. And im usually done with my main with the daily stuff in less than one hour. Also, you have all the freedom of doing whatever you want with your alts build. I did my own questlog from scratch for my healer and dps, stuff like full movement speed, full cooldown reduction, etc is so fun, and its fine because its for pve 😊
As a casual player, I would never consider getting a second character; one character is already overwhelming enough. There are so many things you can do in this game that the gear and skill progression itself is tedious enough to make you afraid of creating a new character. Just to give you an idea, if you want to use an epic sword that you like, the best way is to farm the spot repeatedly, like doing a co-op dungeon repeatedly with a limited three times a day. And when it drops, you'll find that getting one epic sword is hard enough. You need to farm again to get stats you like, which can take 6 to 8 of the same epic sword to get the traits you want, then you have to level them up which takes enormous resources and time. And that's just one item; you need to do the same with other epic items too. There's an easy way to do it: buy the gear you want at the auction house, but that can cost a lot of real money if you don't make profits from selling your items, which can only be obtained by joining a good guild that will take you on in-game activities to get pricey item drops.😊

@@akbarmuhsin5257 if you want to change build, make sure you have skill book conversion. Or if you don’t care for pvp at all, just switch build anytime. You’re just going to be weaker because of new weapon skills lv and weapon mastery lv are low.

You would have a better time putting in an extra hour at work every week and funneling the money into the game. If you want to play a new character, just switch out one of your weapons for a little bit. But remember to put your main back on before doing contracts.
I agree that it becomes boring. Playing single character is fun rather than creating multiples. I also hate the idea that male players creating female avatars and female are creating males. It destroys the feeling that you are actually enjoying the MMO by yourself.
No, why play another character just so you can play your other character a little better. I made an Alt character that was completely different than my main, and I have found that I am having more fun with my Alt.
Lol, this... I started as a dmg dealer bow dagger... And then I made a new character as a healer.... Bow wand... Have more fun with that xd

I really dislike playing alts in an mmo game they become tools rather than seeing them as your character.

It's still not worth it. Just take up overtime and work. Dungeons don't even drop that good of gear to make lucent. The markets suck rn

There’s so many way to do to make lucent. Plus prices are getting cheaper.

The whole weapons=classes thing nullifies the make an alt to try a new class. Just swap your weapon and give it a try😂. No point to an alt.
