    I must say that this channel need way more attention! Especially as the reviews aren't only really great and your playing is at a high level, they are also unbiased, like most bigger channels are now.
    Tennisnerd, Gladiators and so on really do not say that many negative things about racquets any more.
    I mean, most racquets are good nowadays, but still your reviews are more in-depth and provide more info for who the racquets are for.

    What a great racquet! I use grapplesnake m8 in the mains at 49 and yonex poly fire in the crosses at 53 in my set up fornthis racquet. I also added weight ton10 and 2 to help me get my serve going better with this stick. But if you really want a racquet that makes the one hander shine, then get your hands on the IGA tempo or rebound. Im loving that stick as well

      About 2 hours , but i've been playing with heavier swingweights lately, my arm has got used to it, doesn't even fatigue with the Gravity Pro anymore in my specs, so i think a solid month with the racquet will build the necessary strength - but alot of play within a 2 week period should also do that

    haha love the intro. 1/ Trapdoor fix, while sacrilege for some I have just switched the butt cap for a Babolat (Wilson also fine), but TK82S and Dunlop shapes work better. 2/ Grip shape, before you hack off the pallet, add 1 or 2 pieces of electrical tape to the top and bottom bevels to your #2 or #1 grip, it makes it closer to the TK82S. As for racquets that may also be to your liking, have you tried the 97D and Strike 18x20? Like you I'm waiting for the new Aero 98, hopefully it has more comfort and better feel than the VS.

    • @ACTennis
      @ACTennis  Рік тому +1

      I prefer power frames,so 97D is nice but i don't work well with higher static weight, need as much speed as possible , Strike 18x20 also a solid racquet, but i generally liked the pop off the 16x19, as for the Aero VS i didn't actually mind the feel all too much, the comfort was fine for me with soft poly
      I shall give your recommendation a try! thanks for the advice

    Btw. regarding the handle and grip shape: I now adjusted mine with layering tapes on top of each other on the side of the handle below the replacement grip. This made the grip shape the same as the normal, rounder one. The only thing you need to do is maybe use a slightly thinner grip and/or overgrip now. Works perfect. Hope this helps some people with the grip.

    Been mainly a Head and Wilson guy forever (with the exception of a small hiatus with Babolat)..currently playing with a '21 Radical MP (with some copper tape at 12 o'clock)...never even held a Tecnifibre racquet before. So I did what any normal person would do...I took a gamble and just bought one after seeing this review - and then squared your feedback with other vloggers lol! I wanted to wait to play with it for the first time before I commented. This morning I played 4 sets of doubles and the transition was seamless going from the Radical MP. I even deal with chronic R wrist issues (I'm right-handed) as I had reconstructive surgery about 15yrs ago...I couldn't tell any noticeable difference in wrist or arm fatigue from what I'm used to. I feel like I gained a tad more control, without sacrificing much power (thanks to the swing weight)...went with the same string I normally use (Solinco Hyper G - 17g) and decided on 51 lbs (I am typically around 53 lbs - figured I was gonna lose some power due to the control nature of the frame and wanted to compensate for that - 51 seemed right). Serves were definitely more accurate. The only mod I plan on doing will be adding some copper tape to 3 and 9 o'clock and I do plan on picking up another 1-2 sticks. Your review was spot on with how the racquet plays and who it's best suited for and I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put into your channel! For what it's worth, I am 48yo and currently play in Texas in an 18+ 5.0 league (we didn't fare well last year at Texas Sectionals...Dallas was a buzzsaw and ended up winning Nationals)

      How would you compare the stability of tecnifibre 305 iso and radical mp? I hear from many reviewers that they would add 3&9 to the 305iso. At the same time, almost everyone says about the radical mp that it is a very solid racket. Although it is more HL, it has less swingweight and twistweight than the 305iso. And if you look at the specs of the 305 iso (Twistweight, swingweight and 325mm balance) it should be one of the most stable racquets in its weight class :) Does it have stability problems?

    • @kinglizzy99
      @kinglizzy99 Рік тому +1

      @@Vlad-pi3qu I too added copper tape (about 3 inches on both sides of the racquet at 3 & 9 - haven't actually weighed the racquet)...as despite the higher swing weight, I wanted a little more plow through...feels a little less stiff, which leads to much more maneuverability than the Radical MP...it perfectly suits my game because I like to create different spin and shot depths on all my shots...it really shines when you have a low and short dropping ball, and you need to move up to the ball to give it a rip...this racquet magically allows you to take a full cut at it and make it dip over the net and back down to stay within the lines...same for extreme angle shots and touch volleys...I really love it. I was playing with Solinco Hyper G spin 17g on my Radical MP, and found that string too lite for this racquet (I never tried 16g version)...also tried the Solinco Hyper G soft in 17g and actually hated it...I finally tried the Tecnifiber 16 Black code and it's a match made in heaven! The weight and performance of that string along with copper tape at 3&9 (strung at 49lbs) for me is perfect...I may try a lower tension on the next round (like 45lbs) to see if I get a touch more power the deep baseline rallies (especially on the backhand side where I sometimes have a shallow follow through)...anyways, I highly recommend this racquet if you're an advanced player looking for more maneuverability and performance vs the Radical MP!

    • @Vlad-pi3qu
      @Vlad-pi3qu Рік тому +1

      @@kinglizzy99 Thank you very much for such a detailed answer :) Of course, I'm a little surprised that tecnifibre is a more maneuverable racket. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to take rackets for testing. I will think :)

    Hi, love your backhand. Happy to find a reviewer who's a high level player with a proper single handed backhand, rare to find! The more rare single handed backhands become, the more beatiful they look. I did a check on the ATP and WTA standing : 8 guys out of 100 (men) and 3 out of 100 (women) have a OHBH. A pity.
    I am testing new rackets now. I allways played with feel & control sticks, but now looking for control/feel sticks that can add some free power and free dept. I played with the Head Radical Pro for years. Before I played with Sampras' Wilson Pro Staff Interesting option this T-Fight 305, not tried yet. I tried the Blade v8 (I missed some free dept with the Blade), also tested the Head Prestige Pro (really missed free power with the Prestige). I have 3 questions for you :
    1.How would you compare this T-figth 305 to the T-fight315? Did you play both?
    2. The best racket I have tested this year was the Yonex Percept 97D. THe feeling on the Single backhand was amazing (stable, comfortable, precise), great free depth, OK for spin, good plow through on serve and volleys, a beast. Did you ever tried the Yonex Percept 97D? Any thoughts on this racket? (Only ...don't like the paintjob).
    3. Never considered your gravity Pro for a one handed backhand because of the headsize 100. I don't want to compromise on precision. Or shoud I reconsider this stick?
    Many thanks for your reply, looking forward to it!
    4. What's your advice for a guy like me who's 52 and playing old school tennis, still technically skilled but fitness level will get lower. Should I choose for lighter sticks, lower swingweights, bigger manouvrebility, and bigger headsize? Or should I pretend staying young and don't give a damn about these high specs that I could handle between 30-45 years old?

    • @ACTennis

      Hi mate
      Sorry the comment got held for review for some reason and i never saw it until now
      1) Tfight 315 was nice, but i lost some racquet head speed for extra weight, and the pattern is quite open, the racquet is already spin friendly, so tension drops very fast and you lose control much faster
      2) I only tried 97D briefly, but i know its not really suited to me because of the high static weight, i dont work well with heavy frames, i need light and fast with the best stability
      3) Not great for OHBH but i have a very light spec Gravity Pro and the OHBH is fine with it, if you have normal spec Gpros they will be cumbersome for sure
      4) I always advocate for lower swingweights and lighter weights especially if you come from very heavy specs, people rely too much on free stability instead of just solid timing, and once you start swinging a heavy spec slow, you are at a big detriment IMO

    Thanks for the review! I got to admit that I am literally shocked... I would not expect you to enjoy this frame due to the poor manoeuvrability and high SW. You seem to blast forehand winners and first flat serve with it (IMPRESSIVE ;)). Even though you manage to find a under spec frame, it would be interesting to practice matches and see if you fatigue more with it than your racquet of choice. I only tried the TFIGHT 305 RS despite being a control frame I hate it more than any other competitor, I enjoyed way more the TF40 305 18x20 and the TF40 315 16x19

    I have seen several reviews of this raquet on UA-cam and I believe this is the best review overall. I have tried this raquet at my local store twice. I love the feeling I get when hitting with this raquect. However, the handle shape has kept me from buying this stick. I have seen the comments from other people talking about adding tape conveniently to achieve a rounder shape, which is also my goal, but I am not sure of that solution to the point to buy the raquet. Being able to put head pallets on it fwould be a deal changer for me, but as much as I look on internet if anyone have done it for these Tfight raquets, I am unable to find word on that. Nice one! I actually switched to the T-Fight 305 ISO, playing it predominately over my RF97A and Blade Pro.
    2 things that eventually convinced me:
    1. I play my best one-handed backhand with it. So much so that this shot became a weapon now, from a potential weakness before that smart opponents liked to exploit.
    2. It gives me almost the same plow-through as my RF97, while still being much lighter overall.
    One "hack" for this and for higher swing-weight / weight rackets is to use thinner gauge strings.
    I used Tecnifibre RAZOR Code 1.20 and it makes it more manoeuvrable and easier to use. I use the same "hack" for the RF97A where I eventually settled for Hyper-G Soft 1.20 as the best string setup (and also replaced the leather grip here with a normal one).
    For the T-Fight I added 7g to the bottom of the handle to balance it a bit more towards headlightness. It weighs 338g now with a new 1.25 string I'm testing (Tecnifibre Black Code).
    I do dislike the grip shape too, maybe I'll do something about it.

      I know someone who does it for some Pros, so iI'll be getting their help, also you can't just use any kind of pallet, as they don't fit, it has to be a customized pallet that is HEAD shaped, which fits the Tecnifibre hairpin

    Really like this racket, is a racket to play full power if you get lazy playing with this racket it won’t deliver 100%

    Racquet of the year that's too heavy for 90% of all tennis players.

      Yep, can't argue with that lol, but just because it's a hard racquet to use, doesn't mean it's not good 😁
