    Just an FYI for you and your viewers, like many pros, Medvedev only endorses the latest TFight, he doesn't play with it. Underneath the 305 ISO paint job, he actually uses a 305 Dynacore from 2015, which is 95", 18x19 pattern, 22mm beam, 65RA flex, customized to 350-360g static weight, with an unknown swing weight (probably well north of 340).

      I mean we can’t really confirm which racket he’s using. I’ve read the same you’ve mentioned on google but we can’t really say if he could be using that, or a customized Isoflex frame, or something else 🤔

      @gazzer92 Рік тому +9

      I think he's changed from that dynacore at the end of last year according to stringers
      But your broad point is correct, Murray still uses mostly his pt57a yet it's always the latest paint job

      I tried the TFight 305 XTC, but I was not a fan of the 18x19 string pattern, which is eventually used by many pros along with 18x20 pattern. I am more of a 16x19 or 16x20 pattern guy.

    Tried this racquet based on the review, curious about it, but prepared to not like it that much due to the head-heaviness. Turns out, it's the best racquet I've ever hit with hands down and will be switching to it. Thanks for reviewing!

    Just did a demo of this racquet and it is everything you said it was in the review. The first thing that came to mind when hitting with it was "What is this NASA material?" and "How?". It's freaking nuts just like Meddy. I noticed that on my weakest shot (running/sliding two handed backhand) the racquet magically put it over the net with spin, depth and angle almost as if it read my mind!!! My current favourite stick is/was the Dunlop CX 200 tour which I've dialed in with lead tape and string job. I can't wait to dial this one in and I love the white futuristic cosmetic. Thanks for the honest review.

    Just bought a pair today. This racquet is truly unique. I loved everything about it. So stable, but also great pop and control. It hits super flat, but I don’t struggle with the launch angle that I usually do with 18x20 racquets. I’m super surprised by it, but it was literally love at first hit. Crisp and powerful, but controlled and connected at the same time.

    Recently switched to this frame. 2 Things that jumped out at me - and you highlighted them both! I figured I'd try it with Tecnifibre string, so I went with Ice Code 1.25. It feels and plays *great* . . . but my god . . . so. much. white. Maybe it's because I switched from the black version of the G360+ Speed Pro? It's going to take some getting used to. And, yeah, I bought a leather grip. Maybe it's the foam in the frame, maybe it's because it's not as head light as other racquets . . . whatever the reason, it's pretty comfortable without having a squishy grip.

Karue I'd love you making a video analysing the key differences you see within tennis levels, specially what it takes to move from top 300-400 to a top 100, and what you need to get from top 100 to top 10 in your opinion. Think it'd be super cool for tennis fans because when I see you playing against Guiron I just see 2 very good tennis players but cannot appreciate that much the differences, and I assume there is a lot. I demoed this racquet and it feels special in a good way! I was hesitant to even try it because not many videos talk about this racquet so I thought it is just a not-worth-it racquet. However, when I tried it, I liked it. It is maneuverable, comfortable on my arm/elbow, and it produces deep baseline shots that keeps the opponent back in the court. My one-hand backhand shots are not that good with it, but I decided to buy it. One note, it works well with multifilament string, but for a reason, it did not work with poly. This is my personal experience. A multifilament string creates more accurate shots for me with this racquet. I recommend demoing it to decide on it before buying it.

    So the ISO is more head-heavy than usual but has a lower static weight and is somehow more maneuverable because of this? That implies that the usual head-light balance advice for maneuverability is wrong. And wouldn't adding a leather grip both change the balance and add static weight, messing up what is supposedly good about this racquet? Confused here... Karue, can you enlighten me? Is this just a lighter frame so it feels easier to maneuver?

    In the range of 2020-22 almost all producers learned how to build proper racquets. I mean with enough mass they became surprisingly easy to swing - Head, Yonex, Wilson.... But Tecnifibre is still at the swingweight: 335 for 305gr racquet...how is that possible that this racquet is easy to swing as in this review? It seems like another Head Touch Prestige Tour 305gr 99sq.in (18x19)...and it is also strange to have 18x19 as company representative told that they were going to 16x20 in the next generations...which the Babolat did with their 305gr Pure Aero VS;)

Have you had issues with the overgrips sliding down the leather one? I had that with my ADV overgrips. I like them so much that I actually went to a regular replacement grip that has little cushion so it it was a good alternative, and the sliding issues stopped.
    I just noticed your racquet was 340grs. Man due I have an ego issue, mine are were at 354 (Vcore pro HD 97 with leather grip). Without the overgrip using the other one is still 347. Maybe it is too heavy for me indeed (though my shoulders have never have been more toned😁)

    It's pretty hard to trust any review that has an affiliate link to buy the thing it's reviewing. Bad incentives, you know?

      every single review on youtube on literally any product you can imagine has an affiliate link. It is literally the reason “product reviews” are even a thing..

      I agree this is fairly universally true of tennis rackets, but not for example coffee or cooking equipment. It's not unheard of in those areas, but major channels like James Hoffmann and Kenji Lopez-Alt explicitly eschew affiliation with the products they mention, exactly because of the issues of trust and bad incentives.
      Can you see how for clueless noobs like myself just trying to make head or tail of the situation, it would be hard to trust reviews that come with affiliate links, especially considering that they almost never mention flaws in any rackets ever?

    Mic sound can be fixed afterwords. Admit you're too lazy to do that.
