Do you know the story behind this song? Runner Delilah DiCresenzo (now a professional runner) met a random guy at a college party, who ,joking around, said he'd write a song for her...this was it. They never dated, but he took her to the Grammys when the song was nominated.

This song was released right when my husband and I first started dating. We were long distance (Kansas - - > Maryland) and we were in college. This song came on the night before he had to fly back home, and I bawled! It hit home so hard. We dated long distance for 4 years, flying to see each other every three months. Eventually we were together everyday and got married and everytime I hear this song, it makes me think of our beginning. Such a sweet song. ❤️❤️❤️

Honestly, talking everyday, being friends first, and keeping busy with college and work made the months go by seemingly more quickly. It was always hard to say goodbye though. I agree! I also love all genres of music but think back to a time when I wasn’t so open minded. All the music I shunned because i thought it wasn’t cool enough or didn’t fit the box I was painting myself into. The best was when I was out shopping and a very old German man, running a bratwurst stand, was singing along.
