So many creative ideas! Thank you!
I loved the story about you stumbling upon this historic piece of limestone! Fascinating! And how wonderful to dedicate an art page to it. I loved watching you do this.
Thank you Maria! I am so glad you enjoyed both the page and the story behind it too!
First timer here and I absolutely loved it!! My parents gave me a set of Inktense blocks for my birthday yesterday and I was looking for tutorials - sooo glad I stumbled across this one because not only were the techniques super but the journaling on the magazine page was inspirational too. I've just grabbed a magazine to do one of my own (I also have a massive collection of paper scraps). I also loved the added history!!! Thank you so much!! XX
Wonderful! What a great pressy! I hope you have loads of fun with them!
Hi Kim. You have made me so excited about using these blocks. I’ve had them for awhile and had forgotten about them.
Oh I am so glad, hope you have had a chance to play!
Theses are the secrets of a city and its history that intrigue me. What a pleasure you were able to see before it was removed. I have long held a love and a wonder to visit and explore England one day. You got some really neat texture from these blocks and I love the outcome. I looking forward to seeing you play with them more.
Oh yes and me! It's fascinating isn't it? Well I hope you do get to visit one day! I do love exploring new countries! Thanks for watching and I am glad you like it!

OMG! I hadn't! Hello my lovely! 😍
That's very cool how you did your own bit of history on history. I love my inktense blocks and pencils. I have done whole backgrounds with them. They are so vibrant. I've also used them on stamps. They tend to stain clear stamps but they don't ruin them. TFS this lovely journal page. It is quite pretty. 💕 💟
Ooo I have never tried them on stamps! Thanks for the tip Judy! I'm glad you enjoyed this history page 😘
Kim i really enjoyed watching that bit of creativity and loved your story to go with it.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it 💖
Love all the different mark making ideas! Thank you
Thank you. Glad they could help.
Love the story of the London Stone and love this page.
Thank you Heather I am glad you enjoyed the story and page!
My sons gave me Inktense Blocks for my BD and have colour swatched them but haven’t had time to use them in a project. Thanks so much for all the tips, I will try them all, looks like fun. TYFS😊❤️
Ooo lovely! What a lovely son! Have lots of fun trying them out Helen!
Love the story, and the history, , beautiful spread. Tfs.hope you have a blessed day
Hi Betty, thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the page and the story behind it! You have a lovely day too!
Very cool technique of wetting the inktense blocks. I've only used them as kind of watercolor blocks so far, since I'm normally an acrylic artist. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you liked it and picked up some tips to play with too!
Beautiful page Kim, great balance! I love my blocks too, new to me is the idea of markmaking with them. Thanks, great tip!
Thank you Mieke! Glad I could nudge you into a different way to use you blocks! Have fun playing!
I searched for 'Inktense ideas,' and your video was the first to pop up. That totally didn't surprise me...well, maybe a little. Top of Google search - not bad, girl! You've done it again. A beautiful page and lovely story on the stone which I loved hearing about. You always make everything look so easy and effortless. It's the mark (haha, mark!) of a true artist. I know videos are a lot of work and you do that seemingly effortlessly as well. How?? How do you make it all seem so easy?! I love it and plan to binge-watch your videos later this week. I still think your videos are better than anything on Netflix. I have planned to binge on them when no one else is home and can interrupt...I think that makes me either weirdly ODD or the head of the Kim Dellow fan club. Thank you for another informative video that's fun to watch - I appreciate the Inktense ideas!
Ahh thank you Katherine 😘! You make me smile. I am glad it looks easy and effortless but just as with everything else in life it is just working at it isn't it?! And I am very glad you found this one. I was thinking that I was top of your google search because you have watched some of my other videos but I just went and searched on an incognito window and you are right! My video is there! I am really, really surprised! 😮😂😮 You have made my day in more ways than one with your lovely comment! Thank you and thank you for watching. Have fun Inktensing! That is now a word! 😂😂
What a great page and story, Kim! I love history. Great tips, thank you. I have the Inktense pencils, it´s not the same as the blocks, but I´ve used them in many similar ways. I love the vibrancy of Inktense. Tfs, have a great week, Fia xx
Thanks Fia, I'm glad you liked the page and the story. The vibrancy of them is great isn't it? It's really fun adding water to get the best out of them isn't it?
Great tips, page and story! I love history like that.
Ah thank's Kim 😘 Me too! It's fascinating isn't it?
Nice story!!! Fun❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 💜
Cool page. I know London very well but I’ve never seen that stone so thanks for the history lesson.
I know! It's odd isn't it? I am really not surprised you haven't seen it as it wasn't well advertised at all. There are other random, lesser known historical bits and pieces in the city too that you kind of just stumble upon if you wonder about. But I think they are getting better at advertising them now. Like there used to be a button on a wall on a side street near temple. No sign to say what it was but I think it did say 'press'. I found it completely by accident years ago. If you pressed it a light went on behind a glass window and you could peek at some Roman remains! It was completely random. They have redone that area now and I think they have changed how they display the remains. I need to go back and check it out again 😂
Beautiful piece! I loved your story too.
Thank you Susan!
Love the page and really enjoyed the story behind it! So cool!!! Hugs, Debra
Thank you Debra! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
WOW...pretty...
Thank you 💜
Hello Kim, the story behind your page was so interesting. It's a shame they had to move the stone. I don't have the Inktense blocks, I have the Inktense pencils though. Do you think they would work for something like this?
It is a shame. But I am glad that they have added to it's story and put it in the London Museum. I wonder what will happen to it next! You can definitely do a lot of these techniques with the pencils so just give them a go!
Okay, thank you.
Cool ! :)
Thank you!
