First time viewer. Fun n educational. Question : can one spray sealer over the painted/inked gesso. Would it be stiff or flexible. I have a canvas book cover that I would like to put ink to n then seal. It’s a soft cover so flexibility is important.
Hi, big welcome! I'm guessing you could. I've not tried it myself. You could always do some test runs on some 'dummy' pieces to see if it comes out the way you want.
I have these and love them. I also love the Ecoline liquid water colours which are also very intense 😊❤️
They are lovely aren't they Caroline? I am really impressed with them! I have a couple in bottles too but I haven't used them a lot yet, just in little bits. I need to do a whole page with them 😂
If I saw this piece without tutorial, I'd never guess that it was ecoline brushpens only! I think watersoluable stuff is so hard to work with when not combined with acrylics for example. I only use these pens for handlettering or backgrounds for cards. I love the vibrant colours! Also learned some new techniques so I think you did an amazing job! Another technique (useful for handlettering): let the tips of 2 different coloured pens touch, so one tip gets 2 colours. When you start writing you'll slowly see the colour change. That gives a beautiful effect :)
I think I would have had difficulty working out what it was done with too if I hadn't done it 😂 Oh yes I love that technique! It totally dropped out of my brain for this! Thanks for reminding me! ❤
I’m not familiar with the Ecoline brush pens, but they look fun. I’m hooked on the Posca paint markers.

I must say, I do not own any of these pens. They do look a bit interesting but not sure I would invest in them just yet. Absolutely love your underwater theme and yes I did see that big fish and thought it was going to be a whale again. Glad to see another video from you, as always, I always look forward to them. Kim Dellow I do have Zigs and Artezas. Having the the sea and whales on the brain is a good thing and it's the right time of season. Time for you to go the beach. How's that for a great excuse!!! 🐳
I was so happy to see you had a new video out and I just got a primary set of Ecoline brush pens, lol! What are the chances for that! Love your sea themed page, Kim! (Yes, I saw that fish, too). I can´t really say what my favorite pens are atm, but I love working with water soluble pens. Now I have to go and try the 15 ways with the pens. Have a great weekend! Tfs, Fia xx

I use Tombow brush prns and Micron pens for writing.
Is that tombow's Fudenosuke pen or their watercolor brush pens Debbie? (being nosy!)
