This exchange between Joker and Batman is even more chilling if you ascribe to the Harley's Joker theory: the Joker from Suicide Squad and from this movie isn't the original Joker, the one that turned Harleen Quinzel into Harley Quinn, who's a psychopath incapable of truly loving anyone. This joker was originally Tim Drake (the third Robin, after Jason Todd and Dick Grayson), who was kidnapped and brainwashed by Harley Quinn to replace the original Joker (either because he had died, or more likely, because he'd rejected her). The Jared Leto/Tim Drake Robin actually does love Harley Quinn, because she drugged and brainwashed him to do so, and because she crafted him into her ideal image of the Joker. So, when this Joker accuses Batman of sending a boy to do a man's job, he's talking about himself as much as he is about Jason Todd (killed by the original Joker). When he accuses Batman of causing untold destruction because he's not willing to sacrifice himself to stop it, he's also talking about himself as part of the destruction. And when Batman throws Harley Quinn's supposed request to kill Joker slowly in his face, Joker is actually hurt by it, because he actually loved her. And part of the reason Batman holds back from killing Joker may be that he needs him for some reason, but part of it would also be because he's already lost one "adopted son" (possibly two, as there is a gravestone for Dick Grayson on his estate), and buried deep under the Joker's exterior is what is left of the only one Batman has left.
@@randallflagg3700 I'm saying the Snyder Cut deserved to have been the one WB originally released. That is what underrated the movie until we received Snyder's badass version.

Why? Because Batman doesn't normally kill people, so when he says he's gonna kill YOU, that's when you know you fucked up! Because once you hear him tell you that, you'll be wondering if he'll actually go through with it. And once you realize he's going to personally end your life, the next thing you'll be wondering about is how will he do it? Will it be quick? Or will it be slow? So how could The World's Greatest Detective kill The Clown Prince of Crime and win? How can you kill The Joker in a way that wouldn't satisfy him? It saddens me we'll never see this story completed.
