I LOVE this channel for the general positivity and the uncompromising celebration of absolute petrolheadness of Sreten, a lovely chap to relate to. I hope you keep doing this forever, you deserve the world for holding this torch as high as you do. The world as it stands nowadays needs this. I need this. Sending love and hugs.
This 10 cylinder symphony sounds amazing! Sweet music to my ears, S85 will always be one of the best sounding engines. Love the factory look of the intake plenums too.
never in a million years did i think that a simple intake plenum would make such a difference! my god it sounds glorious with micro fiber intake manifold!!!
I'm with you Sreten. I hate the idea of adding carbon fiber parts for "looks". As a mechanical engineer who did my Master's thesis on composites (carbon fiber), I realize that the use of carbon fiber should only be to lighten, strengthen or stiffen a part. Well, and maybe to change vibration (and acoustic) characteristics. That's what this part uses it for, functionally. My distaste for Carbon Fiber "Bling", like door mirror covers, a few, interior bits, or just stupid appliques makes me love that you did away with the bling factor on these parts. Again, congrats on the Road & Track article about you and your channel!! "Best thing on UA-cam" - what could be more flattering?
fendors, hood etc is good tho because its way LIGHTER and as a bonus looks good. even when painted and the carbon shiens through. But interior parts for looks etc I get thats not nice. not anymore anyways, that was 2000-2004 lol
also one thing I hate about excessive carbon fibre parts is that the carbon weave in 95% of the time doesn't match carbon weave on carbon that's already on the car
I don't mind seeing carbon fiber, as long as it's a functional piece, as you say. Interior bits, mirror COVERS... Dont get me started. You're adding weight lol
U have single handedly revived my childhood dream of owning an E60. I thought I’d never want one again, there are just so many problems. And since I live in the US, I would imagine it is just even more financially irresponsible to go out and get one. But now I want a silver on brown 6 speed E60, just like I did when I was 10. Thanks for bringing back a childhood memory.
It is an absolute treat seeing one of these cars owned by this type of owner who understands and can grant this car every chance it needs to be the ultimate car and driver combination and things just work. Absolutely INCREDIBLE CHANNEL!!
Hanging a ratchet strap from the ceiling and using it to hook the hood and support it in its highest position has been my preferred method lately. No big stick in the way and more importantly no risk of knocking it out of position!
The sounds coming out of that S85 V10 engine are glorious. Thanks for always bringing us the best content out there, Streten, it’s greatly appreciated. The two post lift looks lovely and you got lucky with Bendpak’s customer support. It’s second to none and Luke went above and beyond helping you install yours, bravo. I hope you’re having a great time visiting the US on your little vacation. Stay safe and we’ll see you on the next project. Take care, my friend.
Amazing as usual. FYI Sreten that ladder work was sketchy AF. Those feet were so close to slipping it was a nail biter. If you need to go up there again, you need to keep the ladder angle MUCH more vertical. For your safety. 😇
Came here looking for this comment. Looks like beyond a 75% safe lean. Wouldn’t have been comfortable with that myself. Also, the manufacturer should have resolved this rather than Sreten risking his life to rectify it.
Experiencing all kind of BMW engines, using various era M cars, sound difference is most valuable and prominent to a user like you i believe and that is a beautiful mindstate. By the way slowing down at the left lane for a Van and speedometer reads 180 Km/h, only at Autobahn :D. Enjoying the good work..
I'm currently 7:54 into the video, right after the sound differences between before/after. I have to say I didn't have big hopes but HOLY COW THAT SOUNDS INSANE. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I LOVE IT.
I have a 2006 e60 530xi with a multitude of problems, most being electrical. You and the BMW doctor both inspired me to work on my own car and fix my own problems. I apprciate you and the work you put into these cars and channel. Its been difficult tracking down this battery drain issue, but watching you fix your cars motivate me to get up and start ordering modules I know are fried lol. Thanks again for what you do.
That car breathes in louder than it breathes out! Amazing project Sreten, I'm glad it's sticking around. Raleigh is the reason I found this channel and fell in love with it.
Fantastic video! Love the new intake, and love the OEM look. Glad theres someone out there other than myself that isn't a fan of carbon fiber, and who loves wood trim.
Glad to see pendpak gives you great customer service in Europe, Wish they did the same in the USA, been waiting 6+ months for them to answer request for replacement parts. 6+ month wait for the right ones, wrong ones that came in took 8 months. And the months is not the shipping issue but rather how long it takes them to respond to parts requests. But then again yours is new and I believe free and they are stepping up in their game for advertising. Once the warranty is finished and a model discontinued they will ignore you.
The thing I love about this video more than anything else, is it is in a foreign country and everybody is speaking fluent English. M539 restorations for the win
Wow, that place just looks perfect for any type of automotive work now with all the lifts. That is The Ultimate Repair Facility, The Ultimate Service Werkshop, or The Ultimate Man Cave etc. Those S85s do indeed sound glorious. N.A. all the way for me.
I wanted to take a minute to personally thank Sreten for his channel. One of the best BMW channels out there. Because of your channel and specifically All the work on the E60 M5. I have been able to do much more work on my E60 M5 and feel much much more better on the reliability of this Awesome BMW M5. I think top 3 BMWS OF All time. I just installed my Carbon fiber Air Plenums from Carbon Projects last week. It’s me taken over a week to write this because I’ve spent the past week driving my M5 every day listening to that beautiful noise coming from my engine compartment!!! 😁. I truly believe this is great Modification so the Driver can actually hear the great noise that V10 engines makes and put a BIG 😁 on your face the whole TIME!
Sometimes, I think to myself: how is it even posible that this type of quality content exists, and yet it does, and i'm so gratefull for that Keep it going man👍
I once owned an industrial machinery company, and we were never bothered when there was a warranty problem with a newly installed piece of equipment. We saw it as an opportunity to show the customer the quality and reliability of our after-market service. Any customer will have a much more positive memory of a company with excellent warranty response than they will of a machine that simply operated as it should have. Good for BendPak!
I agree with you on the carbon fiber. I used to think it looked really cool but now I'm over it. It's a great material but I prefer it painted so I don't have to look at it. I do like the look of forged carbon fiber at the moment though, but painting it is more timeless.
What a difference in sound, ❤ I will still prefer the E39 M5 as a package but I can see the E6x benefits… Thanks for a nice video. I just replaced my front coils on my E70 as one of them broke. A nice wind down watching your video after fighting with the X5 👍
I always love your content. I too don’t like the look of carbon fiber, as a “finish,” though I fully understand the benefits of having certain parts made from it. I have to say that the angle you had that ladder you were on when you were replacing the hydraulic cylinder on the lift had me worried, though lol. Especially considering that the top of the ladder was resting on the crossbar of the lift and not a continuous vertical surface (such as a wall). Perhaps you had a specific reason and had it reinforced in a way that wasn’t obvious to keep it from slipping out at the bottom, but as someone who occasionally works off ladders myself, it was just a bit nerve wracking. Keep up the great work.
Sretan, I need to thank you, you inspired me to have a go at fitting a timing belt Kit and water pump to my VW. I gained a load of confidence, saved some cash and had fun too. And on the plus side it gave me an excuse to buy a load more tools under the excuse that they were going to save me money. Your Video's are the ones I look forward to the most, keep up the good work. Chris
Nothing but Great work Sreten all the time , editing and making everything look clear and explaining what you do, Appreciate all of your efforts to make sure everything is perfect! Lots of love From Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 Please keep the amazing Content Coming ! 🙏 👏
I have mixed feelings about these lifts compared to the four post lifts. The four post seem safer. But it is probably just me, I am super paranoid when I am under a car. Great episode as always ❤
@M539, You gave me cold shivers climbing that unsafe ladder.(nothing Stopping the foot slipping out) As a retired fireman of course we always have a man at foot of ladder.
I LOVE your videos!! Im watching from hungary, im a 20 year old happy E91 owner. Im watching your 1 hour videos and they feel like its only 10 minutes. Keep up the good work.
At this point, seems like you need a sponsorship deal with a car cover manufacturer so you can protect all those beautiful machines in the yard! Can't wait to see some videos on the E92.
I’ve been watching the playlist of project Raleigh this past week a few times. Sometimes in the background as white noise. So when this episode was posted I was thrilled.
What a blessed episode. Love seeing more E31, feels like this channel 3 years ago. Or something. And soon i'll have to blame you for getting an E39 of my own
Nice! Cant wait to see the 850i get the love it deserves! I know the guys in Poland will take good care of the bodywork, and remove all the dents, rust and whatever there is also.
This is the reason why E46 M3 CSL sounds so amazing as well. That carbon fiber intake plenum that BMW installed on it in factory makes induction noise like no other car (dare I say the best induction sound of all times).
I had one of these and replaced the airfilters with BMC ones and it made a big difference! And..about 10% better fuel consumption! Cheers from Australia
The guys from BendPak are true gentlemans. I also like the landlord, Mr. Klemens. His face fits the name soo well and he looks very wise and always there to help. Take care, Sreten. You the man!
Nemoj nikada merdevine da stavljaš pod tako velikim uglom. Jednom ćeš da padneš nezgodno. Thanks for the new content. I am learning every time something new from your videos.
This is proof that when you put great minds together it creates beautiful things. Love the teamwork this video demonstrates, such an amazing channel 🤙🏾
That V10 already sounded so awesome, now it's superb! They did a great job by covering that carbon up on that intake, you can't tell the difference next to the standard ones! 😁
My friend Sreten ! Thats how i feel watching you even though Its been like 2 weeks that i found your channel and been watching and learning from what you do... I live in Greece. In the family there is a 1991 BMW 518 with 33.000klm in a garage no rust ! the reason is that my uncle lives in United States and only uses the car for 2 months in Summer time.... I go periodicaly and visit the garage and start the car and move it a little for a small strech :-) He never wants to sell it although my aunt is ready to stick the sales sticker on hahaha.... Cant wait to see your new posts to work !!!! Keep up the good content !
Told you Sreten long time ago that you where going to fall in love with the e60 V10, i used to own 2 of them, but sadly never with a manual! It was jus a matter of time to fall deeply in love! and also i agree with you that the sofa like seats are the best! Enjoy it!
This car is my dream i wish i could afford it :D instead im still enjoying my 325i and maintaining it the same as you do with all your bimmers. Absolutely love this channel !
Once again my MAN you have succeeded in an impossible first!! Making the installation...... no that's not it..... making the Video of a Lift installation FUN and INTERESTING!! LOL! Thank you M539 Resto's!! (And the repair of said lift too! LOL).
The car sounds amazing and it was worth the money for the plenums unique sound of the V10 adding to the symphony keep the videos coming certainly makes my week
Sending love and hugs.
couldn't have said it better myself
Hell yeah! Love this channel and Sreten Is the best
Totally agree
Well said man.
❤️❤️❤️
2:55, those headlights turning on feels right out of Top Gear.
The flyby reminds me of Tiff Needell driving it to the south of France
This 10 cylinder symphony sounds amazing! Sweet music to my ears, S85 will always be one of the best sounding engines. Love the factory look of the intake plenums too.
never in a million years did i think that a simple intake plenum would make such a difference! my god it sounds glorious with micro fiber intake manifold!!!
Micro fiber! Love it.
"microfiber" ok then
No biggie! Carbon fiber.
🤣🤣
Nah, carbon fiber is to make carbon fiber towels. Micro fiber is to make strong yet light parts.😂
OEM+ only goes so far
Missed opportunity to call them micro fiber intake plenums 🤭
14:45 the giant boulders from
Stonehenge are „walked“ into place, ca. 1650 B.C colorized
I'm with you Sreten. I hate the idea of adding carbon fiber parts for "looks". @@L4ftyOne Funnily enough, carbon is more popular now than it ever was before.
I don't mind seeing carbon fiber, as long as it's a functional piece, as you say. Interior bits, mirror COVERS... Dont get me started. You're adding weight lol
But aren't all those part lighter due to being made out of carbon
Man, only you to make the installation of a lift something interesting to watch! Props Strten!
I'd replace "interesting" with "horrifying" 😨 Accident waiting to happen!
You forgot the aspect that the E39 looks way better than the V10. The E39 and E38 are one of the most beautiful cars ever, period.
I think a ladder safety course is in order here... The angle you had your ladder at was freaking me out. 😂
I came here to say this 😂
1ste angle was very dangerous yes
It surprised me too. This angle and none of the 3 worried at all
U have single handedly revived my childhood dream of owning an E60. I thought I’d never want one again, there are just so many problems. And since I live in the US, I would imagine it is just even more financially irresponsible to go out and get one. But now I want a silver on brown 6 speed E60, just like I did when I was 10. I got my son who is 19 and really into cars to watch this channel and he is really enjoying it.
Glad to hear you’re having a good time in the US, Sreten. Don’t get too fat, there’s not much space upside down in the footwell of a 3-series.
Hanging a ratchet strap from the ceiling and using it to hook the hood and support it in its highest position has been my preferred method lately. No big stick in the way and more importantly no risk of knocking it out of position!

Wonder why the manufacturer did not fit the replacement for their faulty part?
Yeah that scared the shite out of me it was far too on an angle lol
Absolutely hair raising ladder action. Berufsgenossenschaft sagt NEIN
Sketchy indeed

I hope we get to a point in time when the Dojo is called Streten's M Emporium & its a museum of the cleanest M cars the world has ever seen.
I'm always happy when I see good things happening to good people. Well done and congrats on the new equipment brother.

That cow is happy because they heard your car coming a mile away and approve of the upgrade =)
Man this M5 is special, a glorious sound! Happy Sunday dude, hope we get to see some of the trip across the USA soon! 😎 👍
I notice sir you are driving the E60 M5 much more than the E39. 😉. I am happy to see you have come over to the E60 side it is intoxicating!

Dang that sounds good. Always love your onboards of the autobahn.
This makes me happy. 🤘🏻

Another fantastic video Sreten. That V10 sounds absolutely awesome! A symphony!
Thanks!
What a difference in sound, ❤
I will still prefer the E39 M5 as a package but I can see the E6x benefits…
Thanks for a nice video. I just replaced my front coils on my E70 as one of them broke.
A nice wind down watching your video after fighting with the X5 👍
7:26 floored me! I wasn't ready for that! 🤣
That e60 sounds amazing and I honestly could watch you doing gardening if you like😂
I never be tired of saying that the M5 E60 is my dream and a engineering master piece that an can could have
I always love your content. I too don’t like the look of carbon fiber, as a “finish,” though I fully understand the benefits of having certain parts made from it.

Please keep the amazing Content Coming ! 🙏 👏
There are so many hate videos on the E60 M5, yours is one video that actually appreciates the true nature of that v10!
I have mixed feelings about these lifts compared to the four post lifts. The four post seem safer. But it is probably just me, I am super paranoid when I am under a car. Great episode as always ❤
@M539, You gave me cold shivers climbing that unsafe ladder.(nothing Stopping the foot slipping out)

that ladder angle really scared me.
I LOVE your videos!! Im watching from hungary, im a 20 year old happy E91 owner. Im watching your 1 hour videos and they feel like its only 10 minutes. Keep up the good work.
6:52 trust me, you came for this. enjoy.. thank me later
8:44 what a lovely Opel Senator A!
I seriously wasn't expecting a huge difference in sound but how wrong was I 😂
This gave me a chuckle at 10:45 . We are all very happy. Moo to you as well Streten
¡Gracias!
I knew it was only a matter of time before you came around. E60 V10 limo gang 🤙
At this point, seems like you need a sponsorship deal with a car cover manufacturer so you can protect all those beautiful machines in the yard! Can't wait to see some videos on the E92.
I absolutely love my 2010 BMW 535i 6MT sport package with Koni FSD dampers. One of the most underrated BMWs of its decade.
That BMW V10 engine makes a god-tier noise. I love it!
Absolutely lovely sound. The intake noises are now combined with the symphony from the exhaust. Just incredible!
Köszönjük!
I’ve been watching the playlist of project Raleigh this past week a few times. Sometimes in the background as white noise. So when this episode

Amazing content!
Once again, those 163 style rims on E46 looks magnificent!
I had one of these and replaced the airfilters with BMC ones and it made a big difference! And..about 10% better fuel consumption! Cheers from Australia
It's just the most beautiful symphony ever, a great car and an amazing driver
The guys from BendPak are true gentlemans. I also like the landlord, Mr. Klemens. His face fits the name soo well and he looks very wise and always there to help. Take care, Sreten. You the man!
Best car channel ever! Thanks, Sreten!!
Love it!! Disses the car for fuel economy and then BWWWAAARRRPPP!! Induction noise is definitely addictive.
Love this channel more then the ones who have millions of followers
Sreten :" Let me refuell for the gazillionth time this week and rock that symphony once more"!! Sounds really great maestro!!
Nemoj nikada merdevine da stavljaš pod tako velikim uglom. Jednom ćeš da padneš nezgodno. Thanks for the new content. I am learning every time something new from your videos.
E60 M5 is the LEGEND! Man, it sounds amazing!
I watched the high speed shots with headphones three times. Absolutely glorious sound, a real piston concert masterpiece.
M6 convertible manual is my no 1 car for a while, and now even more 😍
The old guys know all the tricks, you can't beat experience, excellent thanks
WOW this is the best MOD for this engine !
Congratulations 🎉
What a sound !! Also loved that Youngtimer Opel Senator as you came on the autobahn.
This BMW M5 is the ultimate driving machine in the hands of Sreten.
Loved my E60 M5 and miss it very much. Top 10 best engine sounds ever!
Literally cranked up my volume to 1500% to hear the M5 goodness. Love the sound!
Love how DEEP and throaty the car sounds now. Well done sir!
Ahhhh, the E60 Love displayed here is heartwarming ♥️
Sabine Schmitz would approve of your M5! She loved those things!
YES!! The difference is amazing. A definite growl that was not there before. I’d want to drive it flat out too!! I adore the sound of that engine!
I think the E39 M5 would also like such a carbon airbox very much 😎
Once again my MAN you have succeeded in an impossible first!!
