- Another round of jam session with the usual suspects, this time going into the break beat territories. Yamaha DX7 is a new addition to the setup. I've only had time to explore presets so far and I have to say, it sounds amazing.
Gear Used:
Soma Synth's - Pulsar 23
Moog's - DFAM & Subharmonicon
Noise Engineering's - BIA & Desmodus Versio
Qu-bit's - Nebulae, Data Bender, Prism
Mutable Instruments - Grids, Ripples
Make Noise's - Erbverb
Yamaha - DX7ii-FD

The "Pulsar 23- live techno jam" is still my favorite.
Hoooo.....man!!!!
Some great jams on your channel! cheers
Thank you!! Much appreciated
excellent work
Thanks for the feedback
Awesome stuff man! Please do more techno jams, they're so good :)
I’ll bring it back at some point :)
Its hard to make the Pulsae23 sound good live
You my man are killing it. Beast sound .
Paul, thank you so much, means a lot. Cheers
Always love hearing the phrygian scale in music.
Also the DX7 makes a great addition, but what made you decide on that synth against other polyphonic synths? Or even against more modular gear?
There is only one answer to this, the price :) I got it for dirt cheap.
@@SonicJunkie I don't blame you haha
That's a great find for sure, can't wait to hear what you make with it
Thanks Rick. Whatever i make of it, i'll be posting it up here.
Great sound! What are using for the deep bass?
Thanks!!! Using Pulsar-23's kick drum module for the bass
@@SonicJunkie sorry my question was about the deep bass sound like a bass guitar not percussion.
@@mojodrum3215 speaking about the one that drops at 1:45 mark?
@@SonicJunkie yes at 1:45 it sounds awesome what are you using to get that deep bass sound, thanks.
@@mojodrum3215 Thanks again. It is the BD module of Pulsar - 23 with a long decay to get it to sound like bass. I'm Also modulating the pitch with the sequencer to play different notes.
