Gurgaon land was never a barren land. We used to grow wheat , bajra and all types of vegitables. We used to take 4 crops a year 2 vegi in it.

Everyone did it for their own benefit. The turnaround was when GE came in and BPO boom started. KP Singh was already established in gurgaon and utilized it. unlike Unitech, he took right decision at right time..
It's all necus between politicians and corporate. DLF wanted to develope most of the part on gold course road hence most of their residential/ commercial projects came on that road. He even managed to bring Rapid metro which is a result of corporates and politician nexus...
They already acquired good parcel of land on NH8 where the office space picked in recently..
Gurgaon is more like a bandar baant jaha Haryana mein jo bhi CM bana, loot ke le gaya.. and corporates utilized it..
A unplanned city.. unlike Noida which is very more greener and wel planned and they don't rely on CM office to take decisions..
Gurgaon ke most of the decisions are taken in CM office.. Haryana ko sabse jada revenue dene wali city is rely on CM office to construct basic roads..
The municipality is among the worst.. They only knows taking property tax..

If talking about a VISIONARY then Sw.KALPNATH RAI converted 1700 KMS of marshy wasteland into an Official DISTRICT called MAU. gave it it's own COURT,SCHOOL,HOSPITAL,POLICE STATIONS,RAILWAY STATION with Railway Line,Airport, Gave 1Lakh Jobs, Pardahan Cotton Mill, Ghosi Sugar Mill, PGCIL/POWERGRID,Created World's First Solar Village, first Solar Double Decker bus in village, 100's of power Sub stations, 3 Flyovers before major cities of india , world class road network,all in the 90's before age of 58 while battling Prime Minister Narasimha Rao and his Lobbies. Corporate could take a leaf and learn something about development from him. his dream was to make Mau like Singapore...sadly due to early demise this work was unfinished.

In the history of Indian Real Estate, there will be only one outstanding visionary and that is KP Singh. Those who consider him at par with other developers are either being unfair or are unable to assess his achievements. As for having a political nexus supporting him, at least he has never been sullied by scandals like others.

Story is too good to be true, means how can indian army choose a man studying in UK to serve in indian army and conducted special arrangements for him to give exams in UK itself. Is this even possible for a middle class boy who himself is not interested in pursuing that career. Another thing how come someone who is least interested in a career with less salary in undeveloped country and maximum risk will leave his luxurious lifestyle and love just because someone forced him to do that. And lastly how come PM ‘s car broke down at same place he was present and instead of PM’s driver or bodyguard PM himself came to him for help and then showed his interest in gurgaon expansion vision. Seems too dramatic 🤔

It really does not matter whether the story is dramatised. It is a trusted company among the sea of corrupt developers. Look at its 7cr price tag which got sold out in 3days generating 7200cr in 3days. This fact is enough how rich people trust it and buy into DLF brand. Nothing else matters.

I am not from Haryana and never been there - but by the looks of this video and whatever i have known about Gurgaon - i think KP sir did a fab job - gov would have never been able to do something like this - he did it - now if he did so,him benefitting is not a question that should be raised - he deserves it - untill the business doesn’t need blood to run - its cool - the farmers werent killed like other mafias - they werent forced - if KP sir managed to use his connections for greater impact - what harm is it to the society- and if it is - why the resale of 100CR

It rather put a question for indian army as it went out of way to get this man in army and it proved more so that rules were tweaked for him even when he left. So far in life I understood atleast in my country a fellow for whom achieving success means putting exceptional efforts the same success is offered in platter to someone well off..then I look for karl marx 😅
