cool designs. I like the fact that you use votives instead of tealights something I am looking forward to doing. only my second video of yours to watch. I like your garage/shop set up. I especially like the planer/jointer set up on the cart. makes a lot of sense. something I will have to incorporate in my shop when I get it set up.
@@jaycortez50 Thank you! These projects have been a lot of fun! Like that cart combo too. Have a bigger Jointer but use the smaller one more often. Need to build a cart for my new Lathe and also build an outfeed table for the tablesaw.

Very nice work sir! I can see shooting some red or white in the dados, sanding off the overspray then adding the clear and calling it a candy cane candle holder.

Why didn’t you use the planner on the fourth side to make the four sides equal? I find using the table saw you get resawn marks that have to be addressed?

@@kimberwest7304 Thank you! Tablesaws can be very dangerous. When buying a Tablesaw my advice would be to read the Manuel and def learn the tool overall and have proper safety. Dado Blades come with time and experience. Miter saw for smaller cuts can be better option or Track saw is an option for longer cutting. With the Forstner bits I went from 1-1/8 to 2”.

That’s why I’ve had my Dewalt job site tablesaw for about three years and still have not cut on it once I paid my neighbor 20 bucks three times to cut sheets down for me 😆. I’ve learned a lot about my table saw from watching @BeardedVikingWoodWorks but question was.. Like if I use a router? What bit to do the dados.. Or I’m good with my miter saw, angle? .. probably take longer 🤦🏼♀️😬🤣. Thanks again!
Really great build man so sick... would it save some stress sanding ahead first? Get those home depot product a little smoother. Also, work in healthcare, wear a respirator or mask anytime you're spraying chemicals man please!

Nice candle holders. I might suggest wearing gloves when spraying when holding in your hand.. I will make these with just a little variance.

@@kimberwest7304 for Dados in Plywood and hardwood I typically use a 3/4 Dado Bit for both Dado’s and Rabbeting grooves.

If you have a sliding miter saw, you can use the depth stop and some clamps to run the dados.
Is the 4x4 treated?
