@@RogerMcCauley-s1e Thanks Roger. This build was so much fun. It’s always nice to incorporate Coves and Half Laps in the same Project. Appreciate the kind words and support 😊
Dude sweet build. Love the cove jig and never thought of gluing a handle to the pieces to cut the halflap for more control and safety. Love it Man. Rock on.🤘
@@RoughAroundTheEdgesWood Thanks Juan! Love detailed work and taking steps for extra safety in order to complete a tasks. Was a lot of fun. Appreciate the kinds words and support brother❤️
Lovely candle holders .and impressed you thought of using 2 lengths of wood across the saw for the effect you wanted.. Have you thought of incorporating brass rings at the top of the candle holes as that would look even cooler?
Ryan those are Awesome!!!! I never tried making a cove lol. Was always scared lol. But now watching you I definitely want to give it a shot. Much Appreciated Brother 🙏!!!!
@@vincentcozza99 Thank you so much Vince. Appreciate all the kind words. Just take time setting it up and when running material through slowly raise the blade height each run.
@@yossiyaari3760 That is a great question. It would have to be done in a way that the blade depth is gradual each pass especially due to cutting against the grain. Might be able to use the Miter Saw with the Trenching Feature to get it close but might not be able to get it to the exact contour to match. Coving it out on the router table would also not be so forgiving. I’ll have to tinker around in the shop so I can give you the best answer I can 😊
@@yossiyaari3760 All great options and a lot less abrasive lol. A File is a great idea! See it’s amazing how many options you can come up with to use on a project. That’s why woodworking and designing are so much fun 😊
Nice. I love the cove technique on a table saw. Done it before. There is a guy in the central coast of Cali you should check out. He is a master at that technique and makes some killer things. His name is Jory Brigham. Awesome vid Ryan!
Great project and results. I enjoyed most of the video. Don't take this the wrong way because I don't mean to be negative and it may just be me but the audio killed me. It sounded like the mike was right next to the saw when cutting. Other than that I thought everything was great.
Really great project. Love the coving and the finish looks great. So, do you sell these or is it just for UA-cam content? Thanks for sharing and have a great week!
@@thomlindgren6253 Thank you! Coving is a lot of fun. Mostly just for content but if someone wants a special piece I’ll def make them one. You’re welcome and you have an amazing week too my friend.
As per usual, great video Ryan! Wonderful design but I’m still not comfortable to use my table saw 😢. But definitely going to save this one 😅😊. Is that a Base Camp mask?
@@kimberwest7304 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. Tablesaws take time, like I always say read the Manuel, learn the tool in different applications, respect the tool and be safe in all situations. I’ll have to check the make of my Dust Mask.
So what do you sell these beauties for?
@@RoseHolcomb-o8r These particular ones could sell for $60-$100. Price could def increase with the use of different hardwoods.
