I think we've all been excited for this over all everything else Disney announced years ago. I'm so sorry to say this, but star wars I'm the house of mouse and the deletion of legends might be what we needed for star wars. I'm just so proud of Dave and Jon. Those men are true nerd heroes. We need to protect them and their creations at all cost.
Ahsoka brings me so much happiness in my soul. I love her so much. I don't have doubts with this one.

Sabine Wren and Hera Syndulla already look so incredible in live-action. Also, I was quite surprised that Huyang from TCW is appearing in this.

We saw something similar in Rebels and it was mentioned in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Show.
They were to become Imperial spies.
With basic skills and strength training.
Ps even more is the official confirmation of the orange color of the lightsaber Cal Kestis was the first and these are the next.
But I hope they will focus on the fact that, unlike other Imperials, Thrawn is not a villain.
And I also like the return of Morgan Elsbeth, one of the last Nightsisters. 😮😉🤔😊😍🤩

Hope they don't put their agendas in this but looks promising. The heir to the empire is the true trilogy screw that Rey sequel trilogy and new jedi order. Only way new jedi order works if Rey dies and valkorian /vitiate appears immediately as the biggest bad of all,and starkiller returns ohhhh yessss.
I'm an old Star Wars fan haha. Saw the OG trilogy in theatres as a kid. But oddly my favorite character in all of Star Wars is Ezra Bridger. Just seeing his hologram image briefly has me in tears. I can't wait to see Ezra in live action. And I'll need lots of tissue paper lol.
I LOVE that he is your favorite. He is SUCH a solid character. Rebels is one of the best SW shows and I am so excited to see what they do with these characters.

I screamed the entire time I watched this trailer and have been watching wonderful reactions like yours all morning!! Can't wait for August!!
People who haven't seen Rebels really are missing out! It is PEAK Star Wars. This made me want to go back and watch from the beginning again!

So glad to see another fan who is as PUMPED for the Rebels live-action sequel as I am! (I got emotional too. 😂) I know Clone Wars is regarded as the #1 series in SW among the fans for the most part. I love it too. But, I personally ADORED Rebels just as much. That show wrecked me several times over and I've been waiting SO patiently to see WHAT HAPPENED TO EZRA. Us Rebels fans have been waiting 5+ years for this! I about screamed when I saw Hera, Sabine, Ezra's tower, Chopper, and (what I think was) a brief glimpse at Ezra (in the message Sabine appeared to be watching). 🤩🤩
Sure, the movies have their, ahem, reputation in the SW fanbase. (That's a whole other debate.) But, you got to admit, this looks so good for us Rebels fans who have been waiting 5+ years to see these characters touched on again.
I'm freaking out because it looks like they are merging Rebels into Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" Trilogy.
SEE, EXACTLY. hopefully Luke, Han, Leia, C'baoth and Mara Jade are all contributing plot beats if that's the route they decide to take. + Mon Mothma since andor gave us a new access for her.

A few points of interest: We see a clear inspiration and homage to the original book series by Timothy Zahn, the so-called Thrawn trilogy from legends. In the trailer, Ahsoka even says the name of the first book, Heir of the Empire. Orange lightsabers are unprofessionally homemade, unstable, similar to Kylo Ren's. This is a reference to the Dark Forces Jedi Knight game series, where the dark Jedi cult had such swords. From this series, we could already see Dark Troopers used in The Mandalorian. Filoni is a big fan of Legends and uses the best of them in the canon. Dark Jedi - not inquisitors, there are speculations in the trailer that it will be Jorus C'Baoth and Mara Jade. We see Ezra for the first time on the hologram. Hera is the wife of Ewan McGregor :)
I lost my mind when I saw this!!! I can’t believe this is just a teaser!! I can only imagine what the official trailer is going to be!!! Ahsoka is one of my favorite Jedi, and it’s basically the rebel’s sequel I’ve been wanting forever!!! I’m beyond excited for this!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE REBELS!!! I was SO HAPPY when I saw the teaser!! Omgggg I literally screamed and cried OMGG!!! Like I grew up with Rebels and seeing them in live action just made my heart warm up and become super excited omgggg likeee ahhhhhh
They dropped the epilogue of rebels, and the holo message Ezra left with Chop in the freaking TEASER. That makes me think the show is going to open and the story is going take off like a bat out of hell. Not really a slow build like Mandalorian, but just explode out of the gate
I was looking forward to your reaction to this. I am so, so glad I decided to give Rebels another chance. When it first came out I simply wasn't a fan. But some time later I decided to re-watch The Clone Wars in its entirety and continued on through Rebels. What. A. Ride! I was not expecting Rebels to deliver the way it did and by the end I was an emotional wreck. So good!

Pretty excited for this but I’m getting tired of the way these D+ shows are being filmed in that little green screen room. Everything feels so flat and lifeless. They need to start filming the way that Andor was shot
Andor was simply built different.
I would live and die for the character that is Ahsoka. In a world where we love to have things happen super quickly, the slowly crafted character arc that is Ahsoka, has become the best arc in pop culture. I put my faith in Dave to do our girl right... but this is going to be Disney's biggest test. This this series doesn't hit with fans, I fear what kind of fan exodus might take place and I don't want that for this franchise. Even though many of the recent shows (and Mando season 3) have their problems this show will be my everything. AHSOKA LIVES!!!

I'm with you...I really liked Clone Wars but I LOVED Rebels. I can't wait for this show and I'm praying every day they don't mess it up. Chopper is the best droid in the Star Wars universe.

You're the second person I've seen literally cry from this. I'm starting to think I really missed out having never watched Rebels. I just never liked the animation style.
The writing style is pretty h.o.m as well. But when it hit, it hit pretty good. Specifically the Maul/Ashoka stuff, which unfortunately takes up and abysmally small portion of the show. I enjoyed it though, and I'd say it's worth watching.

Walking down the hallway fight is starting to feel like a trope - they need to do something dramatically different to spice it up - not just Rogue One 3.0. Maybe force crush the entire hallway in one gesture and then expand it again, leaving it torn and bent and all the enemies bodies dead and mangled. They gotta think bigger than deflecting lasers and force choking people now.

But THIS. Is exciting. Hopefully they're setting up some kind of Heir To The Empire type plot. I mean c'mon we've got the original cast Cgi'd back into their young selves, Thrawn and the remnants of the empire, cloning, a corrupt new republic, it'd be a shame if this wasn't all setting up a new timeline version of Heir To The Empire and the Thrawn trilogy.

I literally just found that out as I didn't read the news first. This feels like an interesting decision because a lot of people don't like her. Personally I do. My daughters are 10 and 11 so she is someone they really look up to as this is their trilogy, if that makes sense.

I’m excited for this show but one thing I really hope they don’t do is if they bring in “the world between worlds” again they make this weird time thing that branches off and then it’s like “Oh guess what the sequel trilogy is a completely different timeline so it’s perfectly OK for you to consider it non-canon. I mean I don’t think that’s actually gonna happen but still.

There's one thing I hate about this trailer. The fact that Disney don't want to use their billions to make shows outside and they still using this led panel bubble thing. This trailer looks soo cheap and weird. But for the rest I've had the same reaction. I HOPE this is gonna great like Andor in story wise.
Anything made outside has the potential to be absolutely spoiled because of idiots and drones. I 100% support what they do because I hate leaks

Also leaks are still happening, doesn't matter where are they making these shows or movies. Not just simple pics but you can find scrips too online. Also they didn't made the movies in a box and we still didn't got spoiled. They do this because it's much cheaper because the Unreal Engine creates anything for them.
