@@CraigTaylorYT I have got tangled up in my padded tshirt one time quite badly, requiring my gf to delicately remove me from it haha. That incident does now make me take the watch off, I'll only break it anyway haha. Good to share these type if things as it gives others confidence to look at choices more closely. And maybe save someone some pain in doing so! Bravo sir! Keep sharing the stoke!
I had a crash wearing the old version of that alpine star jacket a couple of days ago. Front wheel popped a cover off a hole in the road. Back wheel fell in. Found myself flying through the air at a good 45km/h. Jacket worked good. Have small graze on my elbow where pad shifted and a sore sholder (which probably hit ground first). Otherwise fine
Sounds like a great result considering. Must have a massive crash. Glad you are ok mate and the gear did it’s job. Hate it when the pads shift during a crash. Always ends up in some painful gravel rash.
Not sure about the correct reverse scorpion terminology but, that 05:43 was a perfect execution of the gorilla chest beating. 😁 Can't wait for my suit to arrive so I can practice this cool move 😜
The terminology is just about guaranteed to be wrong.🤣🤣 glad you liked the chest beating. Who doesn’t like acting like a gorilla😉. and those chest plates work a treat. Enjoy yours when it arrives. 👏🏻🛹
Not all the time. When I am riding the faster boards I wear it. Usually always wear a Kevlar jacket or elbow pads & knee pads. Always wear some form of gear. Rarely ride without it.
@@jetvideoVENO I usually wear a Kevlar jacket or hoodie over this as well if I’m out on the road. This will reduce the impact by itself, but the slide can move it around sometimes. I mainly use this on track etc to keep the weight down as well. Kevlar can be weighty.
@@CraigTaylorYT now I am old, bruises are fine, it's the bruises on the same spot as existing bruises that absolutley kill me. Padded clothing removes all this for me. And it's fun again going superman on a trail or golf course!
@@CraigTaylorYT some definition where I should have more muscle isn't too bad hahaha. I have had cheap padded shorts and padded tshirt for a long while, I looked at more expensive stuff since, and theres very little in them at basic level. Perfect for me sending it on trails and golf courses and coastal routes. Onewheel speeds. You guys are generally travelling way faster than I, so I see the need for something much more sturdy, to stay in place, just in case. I like the armoured hoodies for quick local errands as they are easy to throw on. But if I feel send, the padded shit comes out haha
Safety first as always man. Always good to keep looking at new safety stuff.
Completely agree. Going on this trip is making me think of safety as a big priority, plus I can’t afford to damage my shoulder again. 😉
Aint that the truth haha!
Love it. The pro tip removing the watch before putting gear on is legit!
Thanks. I’ve torn one of these in the past. What a waste.☹️

@@redboyjan fair call. Wearing a watch definitely means I’ll be late home, due to smashing it. 🤣
@@CraigTaylorYT I'll be late home anyway hahaha, eeking out more #milesofsmiles

@@CraigTaylorYThave you added strap to secure the elbow protection?
@@SneakySteevy not yet. Winter here and freezing cold 🤣 and I’ve been wearing my protective jackets. Will do before the wether gets better.

That’s awesome. Mine has been tested a few times now 😉 Ride safe legend.
Hey Craig, do you wear body armour like this every time you ride ?
Not all the time. When I am riding the faster boards I wear it. Usually always wear a Kevlar jacket or elbow pads & knee pads. Always wear some form of gear. Rarely ride without it.
So can i wear it on road too, or is it better for offroad
I wear it for both at times. Any protection is better than none at all.
Whats your height and body weight? I am 6 fert and 92kg..would a xl fix or ahould i opt for 2xl
I’m 5 7 and 95 kg’s. Xl should be fine.
Thank you so much! Gonna get it!
Do I need any more protection for road rides?

The toys! Unlimited amount of toys! 😆😆
I know right. Always things to get. I need to get back to buying more boards again.😉
Definitely need that one good call 💯👊🤙
Thanks Prashant. Hope I don’t have to test it out. 🤣🤞🏻
@@CraigTaylorYT 🤪 which board are you riding ?

I am 1,80 and 82 kilos, should i take medium or large?
I would probably be looking at the medium if you are 82 kg’s. I remember when trying them on, the sizing felt very close.

@@LIGHTWARRIOR-888 no problem at all mate. 🦘
Can anyone suggest which armor is more comfortable? Fox titan or Alpinestars bionic action v2?
The alpinestars are much better for me.
