Hey Riders I hope all is well, I had a nasty crash in Oz and broke a few ribs so I thought it was about time I checked out the best full body armour on the market. I hope you like the video.
I'm very interested in your impressions after the 1st few rides. Also, how much you find yourself wearing it after a month or so. Please follow up on how it works out for you and if you end up buying other body armour.
Man you have no idea how many times of put armour in the basket online and then bailed out at the last minute as you don't really know how it's going to fit
This is a product that has been on my mind for a while. The ground is just as hard on a bicycle as it is on a dirt bike and I always wear a chest protector on my dirt bike. But not body armor. My question is why not wear a moto style underprotector and a Sam's bike's jersey?
@@nomad-pq4yw8iy7v Hey mate... I sent back everthing but the light Leatt and WOW its amazing you actually can't feel you wearing it highly recommended.
A nice review. A detail that I think is important to point out is that if you have the zip in the middle at the front, you will get a split chest plate. A split chest plate means that a hit is spread less widely and you have a greater chance of splitting the sternum. If you have a full chest plate and the zip on the side, you will avoid this. This is from the painful experience of a friend.
4 weeks ago I crashed hard onto my shoulder and back on a dry dusty hard pack DH track wearing the Leatt Stealth (light) jacket. I bought it before your review but for the same reasons. Ended up with a broken collarbone that needed a plate /surgery and 6 broken ribs down my back. It had worked well though in a lighter crash onto softer ground. Once I’m riding again I’m thinking I’ll invest in the Fox D30 jacket for DH tracks and race days and wear the Leatt for everyday enduro riding.
3 weeks ago had a hard crash with the exact same outcome as you... messed ribs and collarbone surgery to put a plate... was wearing an 7 iDP Transition and I'm also looking for a vest with higher protection level such as the Fox Baseframe D3O for next summer bike park season. Any thoughts on the Fox?
I broke my clavicle earlier in the year, needed surgery.. Now back on the bike, 3 months later am riding with armour. I have the Womens Baseframe Pro Chest Guard-- it is great... But it needs a zipper!! So hard to get off, a contortion exercise. Really wish they would make the same jersey but add a side zipper.
Good comparison! i like the Leatt gear for ventilation, comfort and all day protection. I have the 3DF AirFit Lite Body Protector and it has saved me a couple of times in the past. However despite the armor, i still broke my collar bone last week. Single compound fracture. Full blow to the shoulder on asphalt (of all things...). Im looking at no riding for a couple of months probably. So yeah, wear the armor, but never assume you are invincible! Armor can only go so far, and bones still take a massive hit on impact.
@@SamsBikes Hey Sam! Dang, you broke yours more than once? Ouch! No, they didnt give me surgery, just a couple of straps and see how it heals over time. I can already tell that its not fully aligned however. I now have a small bump on my shoulder...Anyway, the armor did work perfectly for scratches and bruises, of which i had none.
How do you find the 3DF AirFite Lite for pedalling? Im trying to decide between it and the stealth, but I will be doing more trail riding than enduro or downhill.
@@douglasfresh3886 i wear it 100% of the time and i do mostly trail riding. One of the most important things to consider after the fit and weight of course is the quality of the padding. It's really difficult to beat d30 when it comes to protection. Some have traditional padding which are temperature dependent too. So once you body warms it up, it's going to be more comfortable, however how about on impact? d30 stiffens and distribute the impact better.
My last two crashes have been slide outs where I've landed on my side and hip. This has prompted me to research and buy some lower body protection in the form of a short liner. I went with Leatt as well, but with short sleeves and separate elbow protectors due variability. Back, chest and shoulds are Level.1 protection (CE EN 1621).
My partner got the same thing for enduro racing and loves it. Very light and breathable. I am looking to get one for myself after seeing how good hers is, but the sizing chart is a nightmare as they only go off rider height, not rider weight/body size.
I went with Fox Baseframe Pro D3O. I wanted as little foam as possible that soaks up and starts stinking. Plus easy to wash and dries up fast. My second pick would have been Leatt.
I got the same. Don't know about you, but I removed the strap. I'm on the upper limit of the large size so all stays in place. Makes it easier to put on and no rubbing.
@@trombolio yes I use an under armour base layer. Helps keep sweat off the jacket, so less frequent washing is required. All in all, I'm really impressed with it.
Really well done review, and very helpful since these are difficult to choose. I purchased the short sleeved version of your top choice Leatt Airflex Stealth. I opted for this one for the same reasons you stated. It doesn't have the most protection, but it's comfortable and breathes pretty well. Anything more substantial and I knew I wouldn't wear it in warmer months and the best protection does you no good if you aren't wearing it. I have crashed in it a few times and it's protected me well. One time I went OTB and landed on my shoulder and I barely felt it. My shoulder was a bit sore the next day so I can only imagine how I would have felt if I hadn't been wearing it. I decided to go with the short sleeved version and separate elbow pads simply to have the flexibility to forego the body armor and just wear elbow pads on certain rides, which I have done occasionally on hot days. Even with the good ventilation, you will obviously sweat more wearing this body armor than you would without. If you already have elbow pads you like, that may also be a reason for someone to choose the short sleeved version for less money. That said, it is possible that the long sleeved version would provide better elbow protection that doesn't slide as much as separate elbow pads.
This was very helpful as I was on the fence and the full Fox Titan armour is for hardcore days at the bike park when feeling brave but may get squirrelly. 😂 I wanted something for those mtb days of 1-3 foot drops, smaller jumps and gaps where the injury risk is lower. Appreciate the video review for helping out and @sparksfly369 for the additional real-world user experience feedback. 👍

Man I wish I'd found this video about 4 months ago. I too had a crash that resulted in my looking into body armor. Mine was an internal injury in a ruptured spleen back in February this year. My sisters bought me a Troy Lee 7855 full upper torso jacket(?). Complete PITA to get on and off, pretty lightweight, but not very well ventilated. My wife and mother-in-law got me a Leatt Body Protector 5.5. Amazing protection, easy on/off, well ventilated, but it's literally 2.95 kg. I definitely would have landed on that Leatt Body Protector ReaFlex Stealth as you did, had I known about it back in February/March. Thanks for the video, it's very informative.
I too chose the Leatt Stealth and its very comfortable to wear every day. Nice review it would have saved me a lot of browsing specs. I t bought it off a US motorbike site and had it shipped to NZ. Saved $100.
Leatt ReaFlex Stealth is probably what I'm going to go with, from the research, all seems to point in that direction as being the best "all-rounder".. I just wish they would have added some D30 at the ribs..
Not the easiest to get on/off and pretty hot to wear but I prefer the full core protection of the Troy Lee 7850 HW vest. I too have broken ribs in the past and I don't think many of the vests today provide adequate core protection. It's a tough decision because you won't know if it works until you've tested it...
You went light on the protection for the area that started this quest… ….your ribs D30 or any of the popular visco-elastic polymer dough padding on the chest would be wise. That was my reasoning recently, as I too crashed unprotected with rib injuries. Went with the fox baseframe tshirt. Same core pads as the the long sleeve, but without the chest strap. I already have elbow pads that stay in place…coincidentally, fox enduro pro with the same d30 pads! Did you look into leg and hip protection? I did the leatt 4.0 short as well….
The stitches of Fox´s jacket would blow up in a fall on rocky terrain. POC´s best on protection but only for shuttled sessions. Leatt´s first jacket is good, would go for that one. Oneill doesnt cut it, neither Alpinestars (surprising considering they are one of the best in moto body protection), Dainese so so.Preferences aside, what´s with zero gut protection? Do these brands think we have super abs? The chest has a bone cage underneath while the stomach, liver, etc have only skin as protection, I would prefere coverage there too.
Hey Sam check out LEATT new elbow pads with the hard shell, mine haven't arrived yet, tried the fox and didn't like the velcro straps, if they touch your jersey they can undo.
Great video Sam! I have the same as your best choice. Might not be the best protector from all but definitely comfortable to wear and doesn’t smell 😊. Tip: Next time you could share your size and weight to help others decide on the size.
Hi. This looks like your most recent "gear" video; awesome. When I look at gear (roost, elbows, wrist, shoulder, knees, etc.), the first thing I look at is the strap bindings. I want the strap, on both ends to be detachable/ replaceable at reasonably low costs. I DON'T like velcro/elastic, especially if sewn and permanently fixed to the gear as over time it stretches of gets degraded. I DO like straps that work like zip-ties that you sometimes find on helmuts (quick release/adjustments). Your videos ROCK!!! If you do another gear video please consider some additional focus on binding type, replacement costs if replaceable. Also, I would love it if you included a demonstration of putting it on and taking it off. I learn a lot from you, thank you.😊 Oh, does any manufacturer / model already employ the detachable / replaceable bindings?
I do like the Leatt either... I'm wearing airflex kneepads for a while and they're the best I've tried. Everytime I hit the ground hard I plan to buy an armour, but man, once I'm back riding I can't stand even a chest protector on.
I have no real desire and not much interest in body armour…HOWEVER… I not only watched every second of this video, but I found it interesting af and of course very well done. I would like to add that I always wear my helmet, gloves, appropriate riding clothes. I sometimes wear knee pads (carve evo). If I rode hard at all, I would wear full body armour for sure. When I ride my street motorcycle, I always wear armour and I ride a muscle cruiser. Super good video Sam 🇺🇸
@@SamsBikes You are very welcome. I’m too old to suffer from crashes, so gear is a must. Like i said, if I rode hard, I’d have the best full protection and I would wear it 100% of the time.
Great video and what I was looking for. I am an ATV rider and generally don’t get in too much trouble, however, I ride in the mountains. We have washouts, boulders, and steep terrain. It seems prudent to wear light armor as cheap insurance and I am not getting any younger, don’t heal as fast.
You should check out the troylee design. A litel harder to remouve but the fit en ventilation is nice. I got the short sleeve one with elbow. I find it easier to remouve and for me the elbow stay in place.
I bought the Fox full body armor, used it twice… it’s too hot in the summer, it is very heavy and i can’t get the fit right… i’m 190lbs 6’3 with long arms. I went back to my TLD Rockfight chest protector with POC elbow pad and it’s lighter an more breathable
Sam You should have a look at the Racer Motion 2 , a french brand armour with D30 BP4 lite. This what I am getting for Bike Park days and serious enduro days.
First video I watched of yours was a Rockshox damper change if I remember right. Found myself back on your channel and your content and delivery is excellent. I own a leatt Body armour myself and its excellent. Though mine is the heavier one above what you reviewed here.
Thanks for the review....I bought a Revit Offtrack for long distance adventure riding potentially in all weather conditions (prefer the layering approach to gear). Did a solo 24 day 9000 KMs trip in Indochina (I'm based in Malaysia) some months ago,and although the jacket was fine, the padding for this jacket (excluding chest pads) in total makes it pretty heavy. My question is - what you think of the idea of getting body armour instead, and taking/using the jacket minus its padding, as and when necessary. Wondering the same about knee protection now ...many thanks
I’d like to recommend the 661 full length sleeve jacket….been pleased with mine at got it a bargain price at CrC…..it’s worn really well over the last year with almost daily use ….I feel it could benefit from a little more rib protection tho!
Broke 3 ribs in 2019 and watching now with 1 or 2 boken ribs again, let's just say I am in the market for upper body armor, I think I will get the Leatt AirFlex Body
Hi Sam! Any chance if you could tell me if the Leatt AirFlex Stealth or any of the other armours you wore, does the chest armour dig into your lower chest or tummy if you squat/bend down please? I'm thinking of purchasing one to use with rollerblading. If the chest plate sorta digs downwards, it's a no go for me sadly. Thank you for the review!
Hey Sam, great review as always! I know you were after integrated elbow protection, but would you have any thoughts on the POC VPD Air+ Tee or like someone else mentioned also the Leatt Body Tee Airflex. I feel they might be great alternatives, but not sure. Also, pants: had a hard time finding some with lightweight hip protectors and chamois. Went with RaceFace Flank Liners. Very happy so far.
Hey Joe thanks for the kind words rider! If I’m honest the POC stuff was very disappointing I personally think the Leatt stuff if very good and good tip on rye padded bike pants 👖 I go with the ION ones also very good
@@SamsBikes yeah I've looked into it a bit more, too. The Leatt AirFlex Stealth is now also winning for me :-) What did you think of the sizing? I'm 187cm / ~95kg - What would you say, XL or XXL? Thanks again! Been following your channel for a bit now, continuously great stuff! Also will be trying the Big Mary once my current set of Maxxis tyres are done.
Sam, is all the padding in the Leatt airflex stealth removable for washing and/or customising for different rides? Can't seem to see this clearly anywhere.
great review but there's no Leatt 3DF AirFit Lite or Scott Softcon AirS21. One more thing is level of pretection. Most of the have simple foam in front. The same as you, Last year i had few crashes, OTB too and felt handlebar on my chest. Now i am looking for good protection for whole my body.
I have the airfit lite (short sleeve version) and love it. i had a pretty hard crash this past summer and took the hb to the chest. I think i still at least bruised if not cracked a couple of ribs, i deffo would have been in the hospital without the vest. Gotta mention that you can take the paddings out, for washing the shirt or other uses too, i use it to ski with only the back plate inserted
I'm looking at buying the Leat model. You say your size large? Is it a perfect fit ? I'm usually small or medium so unsure what to order. 5ft6 32" waist..... what would you recommend?
Would the LEATT Airflex stealth be more than adequate for some one look for that extra bit of safety on trails and general mountain biking with the lads etc... im not enduro racing or down hilling i had a nasty tumble today on exiting a burm and wolloped my back enough to leave me very sore so im on the look out for some thing to help avoid futher injuries. The trails we ride are littered with rocks and tree stumps . I was looking at the troy lee design rockfight earlier . It looks like its more than capable but what you just showed looks great aswell. Thanks for great video
I have tried a bunch of back protector. Leatt back protector is confortable easy to wear Cons is a leve 1 on T area much of a lumbar protection Size run small for americans POC back protector Size is accurate for americans The back protector cover all the spine T to S top to bottom, but on Top tends to slipt up EVOC back protector Size is pretty small for americans M size will not fit you. Once you burn that fat and get slim that can be wear and will cover all your spine with a hard plastic on the rear that will be comfortable to ride all day It has front pad as well of kind of d3o material thar will protect yout chest.
Thanks for a great video. How easy to wash these? I think we have to pull out pads before washing? Is it right? Then how sturdy of these pad holding pocket? Thanks
what would you recommend for beginners? Is the best option your Leaff Airflex Stealth or for beginners is better to use Airflex Body?? I know that both fulfill the same EN regulations....
Does anyone know what the difference is (if any) between the Leatt Airflex and the new Leatt Reaflex Stealth models? They look identical in every way possible except for the name. Looking at the size chart they are suggesting a large size, but I am leaning towards the medium size, which is only in stock in the Airflex version, not the Reaflex (L and XL only available until June or July).
Nice Sam, ive been faffing over buying the stealth tee for 2 months now lol. The only annoying part is the size guide, im a skinny 6ft3ins and they recommend xxl. I know this isnt sexy to ask, but what is ya height / chest measurement please bud - im guessing im right in the middle of L /XL. Cheers pal
@zubilok01 I didn't get on with it, went with the fox baseframe pro tee in large. Its really comfy. It doesn't have a zip and can be difficult to get off, but wearing a thin baselayer underneath completely solves that issue - already had 1 otb, piledrived onto my left shoulder and its 100% saved me from a broken shoulder, so money well spent already :-)
Hi Can I ask, What you guys think about the Baseframe Pro SS. I keep hitting my shoulders it seems and the airflex I just think would not have enough protection on the shoulders.
I dunno how or why, but so many MTB'ers wear so little protection I am actually quite surprised given the injuries some have had. I have the Leatt Airflex body armour, I actually choose it because the chest / back is a separate piece. When it's ragingly hot (like now) and I don't really plan on doing anything stupid, I find just wearing the chest and back piece over a short sleeve jersey keeps me comfy but protected, when it's cooler or I know I am going to push myself a bit, I wear the undershirt with it for the shoulders and elbows. Easily fit both the undershirt + chest / back piece under the jersey and don't even notice it once I'm riding. I can feel it's there but it's never restrictive in the slightest. Also recently picked up the Leatt Impact 3DF 5.0 liners. They look like they would be really awkward and bulky but I can't believe how comfy they are. It's unreal how comfy they are. Only downside is the lack of ass padding, the 4.0 apparently has the ass padding but drops the coccyx and upper hip padding and some people said the ass padding didn't feel that great in terms of how it sat;, so I went with the 5.0 and upgraded my stock seat to something a bit more forgiving. Expensive, but now super comfy and even in full armour on an Australian summer it all breathes well and is tolerable even on a hot day and great when cooler.

Tip: Next time you could share your size and weight to help others decide on the size.
good call... I'm always learning this youtube thing
@@SamsBikes Sam what is your size height and weight? I am 1.82cm/95KG L or XL?
@krichter1970 hey mate I’m 183 and 83kg on a good day haha I ride a large but it’s tight!
@@SamsBikes so a beter high to weight ratio then me !!!! Thanks and keep up great work!!!!!
I bought the leatt on black friday sales for 139 euros, last year, from fc-moto. Very good protection t-shirt
Get deal....
I do like the Leatt either... I'm wearing airflex kneepads for a while and they're the best I've tried. Everytime I hit the ground hard I plan to buy an armour, but man, once I'm back riding I can't stand even a chest protector on.
Hey Pablo when we riding mate? dude I have ridden twice with the Leatt its amazing... get it..
Super good video Sam
🇺🇸
Thanks for the kind words Todd, after having some nasty crashes I’m wearing everything I can these days!
@@SamsBikes You are very welcome. I’m too old to suffer from crashes, so gear is a must. Like i said, if I rode hard, I’d have the best full protection and I would wear it 100% of the time.
Good comparison, thanks!
Small tip though: it's D-Three-Oh and not D-Thirty (the last part is a letter instead of a number)
Thanks mate my bad
Best video in UA-cam for this topic ❤
Great video and what I was looking for. I am an ATV rider and generally don’t get in too much trouble, however, I ride in the mountains. We have washouts, boulders, and steep terrain. It seems prudent to wear light armor as cheap insurance and I am not getting any younger, don’t heal as fast.
Thanks mate definitely your better safe then sorry
You should check out the troylee design. A litel harder to remouve but the fit en ventilation is nice. I got the short sleeve one with elbow. I find it easier to remouve and for me the elbow stay in place.
Might have been a good idea to stand in front of a fan to judge the airflow. Great review, thx
Best comment
I bought the Fox full body armor, used it twice… it’s too hot in the summer, it is very heavy and i can’t get the fit right… i’m 190lbs 6’3 with long arms. I went back to my TLD Rockfight chest protector with POC elbow pad and it’s lighter an more breathable
Yep I think the FOX is good but only for racing
Ion Body armor is the best of all for hot weather… really well ventilated … light and not bulky at all… you do have to size up minimum one size though
What a fantastic review ! Thank you ! I’m currently in the market for this so greatly appreciated
I'm a big fan of the 661 Evo Compression Jacket. I've been wearing it year round for a few years now.
good call I'll look at it for the next video
Sam
You should have a look at the Racer Motion 2 , a french brand armour with D30 BP4 lite.
Thanks on the kind words Chris! I think Leatt makes some killer stuff
Best is wrists protection - hands take beating, elbow protection, body armor!!!
not for me with two broken hands I always crash like a moto rider
Great video Sam. I'm big fan of Leatt kit, can't go wrong there.
Thanks Gerry
Everyone must be going for it lately, l done a rib again at the You yangs, just bought the FOX raceframe.
Leatt Air Flex is sweet, I have the long sleeve for enduro and DH, and for a Trail with light enduro the short sleeve.
Hey mate I totally think two armours are needed, If I start racing racing again I think the FOX is the go...
Do you think the short leaves is good enough for all Mountain ebike riding. Im 50s. Thanks
@@lewiss66 Hi, I’m 52 and yes when riding XC or all mountain trail I use the short sleeves, any enduro or DH long sleeve. We’ll worth the investment
I’m in 3 months now and the AitFlex is great but maybe the Fox might be a little better if you want more protection
@@SamsBikes thanks for the heads up
Leatt at least makes them for big guys, the rest don't. 6.2, 240 lbs, Leatt stealth is the only one made large enough to fit.
The Leatt AirFlex is amazing I wear it all the time.. maybe not the best for protection but its so comfortable, you don't avoid wearing it
Hey Sam, great review as always!
The Leatt AirFlex Stealth is now also winning for me :-)
What did you think of the sizing? I'm 187cm / ~95kg - What would you say, XL or XXL?
Thanks again! Been following your channel for a bit now, continuously great stuff! Also will be trying the Big Mary once my current set of Maxxis tyres are done.
Any follow-up on these now that, hopefully, you've been on the trails?
Sam, is all the padding in the Leatt airflex stealth removable for washing and/or customising for different rides? Can't seem to see this clearly anywhere.
great review but there's no Leatt 3DF AirFit Lite or Scott Softcon AirS21. One more thing is level of pretection. Most of the have simple foam in front. The same as you, Last year i had few crashes, OTB too and felt handlebar on my chest. Now i am looking for good protection for whole my body.
good call I will check them out...
@@SHINDIGLORDS what about riding in hot summer days?
The review is nice but I'd have liked if you talked a bit about certification levels...
Please try on the ION Protector Jackets I am thinking about buying them but there are absolutely no reviews 🙏🙏🙏
I have tried a bunch of back protector.
Leatt back protector is confortable easy to wear
Cons is a leve 1 on T area much of a lumbar protection
Size run small for americans
POC back protector
Size is accurate for americans
The back protector cover all the spine T to S top to bottom, but on Top tends to slipt up
EVOC back protector
Size is pretty small for americans M size will not fit you.
Once you burn that fat and get slim that can be wear and will cover all your spine with a hard plastic on the rear that will be comfortable to ride all day
It has front pad as well of kind of d3o material thar will protect yout chest.
Thanks for the advice mate
Thanks for a great video. How easy to wash these? I think we have to pull out pads before washing? Is it right? Then how sturdy of these pad holding pocket? Thanks
Sorry mate I had to send all the ones back i didn't keep. The Leatt breaths very well and I have not had to wash it yet.
Super helpful. You're good at thinking of things no one else covers.
Thanks Max but actually it was my technical advisor German that came up with this idea!
Awesome video thanks for doing this !
Thanks rider
what would you recommend for beginners? Is the best option your Leaff Airflex Stealth or for beginners is better to use Airflex Body?? I know that both fulfill the same EN regulations....
Good video! I have the one you picked, you chose the right one 🍻
You know it’s not something you really think about until you crash now that makes me think now thanks for that video
Not a Problem Frank get the Leatt its a great bit of kit
Did you check out g form elbow pads...?they don't slide... quite good
Thanks for the review. Shopping trying to figure this out
Glad to help
I wear full body armor because I cycle commute been hit and run off the road better safe than sorry road rash is not fun
Great review mate, thanks!
The leatt's front plate is not ce rated though, dont know if thats good. Its just impact foam
Can you do a review of Evoc pro jacket
yep ill try
G'day Sam's Bikes - what your opinion on this type of Body Armour for MTB - Leatt 6.5 Pro S21, protector vest Level-2.
Makes a video aboout body armor. No mentionof CE or any other safety ratings.
Thanks for making this video
Great vid mate 👍
Does anyone know what the difference is (if any) between the Leatt Airflex and the new Leatt Reaflex Stealth models?
They look identical in every way possible except for the name.
Looking at the size chart they are suggesting a large size, but I am leaning towards the medium size, which is only in stock in the Airflex version, not the Reaflex (L and XL only available until June or July).
man such a helpful video, thanks!
Cheers pal
I’m 6,4 with 94kg and went for xxl. You should get the xl if you’re skinny. Mine feels a bit loose on elbows.
Hey mate I'm actully only 82kg but look fat on camera hahaa... and 183cm and i'm normally a Large for everything
@SamsBikes nice one thanks for replying Sam 👌
@@MTBTrailsAroundSurrey hey! Did you get It? What size?
@zubilok01 I didn't get on with it, went with the fox baseframe pro tee in large. Its really comfy. It doesn't have a zip and can be difficult to get off, but wearing a thin baselayer underneath completely solves that issue - already had 1 otb, piledrived onto my left shoulder and its 100% saved me from a broken shoulder, so money well spent already :-)
Hi Can I ask,
What you guys think about the Baseframe Pro SS. I keep hitting my shoulders it seems and the airflex I just think would not have enough protection on the shoulders.
Don’t bother with the Leatt air flex as I have broken ribs right now due to no protection on the sides and the whole thing is too flimsy
I couldn’t wear any of those, too tight. Been looking at the leatt chest & back protector without the t-shirt thing underneath
Yep thats not a bad call Phil get something but when I went down in Oz man it hurt so bad...
@@SamsBikes I wear elbow pads so no need for the full top, that leatt looks good and fox do a good chest & back too. Be good if you reviewed those 👍
Nice review, but does someone know a cheap alternative? am broke.
Have you looked at the troy lee design 7850???
Helpful but, you did not offer a product with RIB PROTECTION....
Thanks you man !
Sam, you need to look at Troy Lee armour
Thanks for the Tip John.
Acerbis for me Is the Best. 2 class of protection
ill check it out
Which model
what size are you wearing the jackets in?
may you reccomendet some body armour for really big chest and arms? i had 120+cm on chest
Own a evoc bac protector is pretty good
I did look at them but they don’t have full body suits I thought
@@SamsBikes and price is at $320
@@porroco wow not cheap
what's with the black theme don't they know that its bloody getting hotter
haha this is true...
@user-hp3lr8ok4w sorry?
Sam, How big are you I am always between a large and extra large
Hi you probably miss the ION body armor in the list
I actually tried to order it but sold out... so maybe I need to try it for the next one.
@@SamsBikes got it mate, indeed I have the ION armour I feel it ok but slightly tricky to wear, anyway thanks for the video you should have done it long time ago before I bought the ION armour 😅
No troy lee 1750? Or 1755?
I need to check these out a few riders have said the same thing
Body armor is necessary and isn’t expensive than the hospital 🏥 costs! And lost of your valuable time at hospital
Really useful video, thank you 👌
body armour is good even for commuting but very Awkward to take off and put back on !!
Yep with those crazy car drivers.
You forgot the best one ,troy lee
Unless you are riding jump line with lift all of these are going to cook you alive if it's warmer than 70 degrees.
