i love crumble but i like how my mum makes it the best.. she makes it really simple just rhubarb, sometimes she puts apples in it and then just the flour, raw sugar and butter and a bit of vanilla.
I like to to put a generous tablespoon of finely crushed walnuts in the crumble of my crumble which is flour, cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar. I dont make a traditional pie out of it, just but apple base in 13x9 pyrex pan with no crust and add the crumble. My mom learned this trick when my sisters were going about gluten free 10 years back and did this to shut them up (she never told them about the flour in the crumble) and it turned out great and easier. Oh and using a 13x9 pan, it makes 2 pies worth of food. So yeah, you make 2 pies worth and saving a lot of time not fussing with pie crust and more pans.
This is just Gordons recipe, stop saying it sucks. I say it is unique. Plus he probably know more about cooking and baking then you. I know he is better then me because I am 11.
Bri B That's how Gordon used to be before he went to the USA and played being an arsehole. The UK version of his t.v. show was less screaming and abuse, and a lot more help.
mmmm... not sure, the apples with the skin on, the cranberries, lemon zest, lemon juice... the muesli... call it something else like anti constipation tart.
i watched his entire cookery course-this was great but not the cream of the crop of his course-i would really recommend watching the entire series he has some great general tips and sauces that has made me overall a better cook.
• Hi Mark. • Hi. • What are (you) planning to do today? • I'm not sure yet. • Would (you) like to have lunch with me? • Yes. When? • Is 11:30AM OK? • Sorry, I didn't hear you. Can (you) say that again please? • I said, 11:30AM. • (Oh,) I'm busy then. Can we meet a little later? • OK, how about 12:30PM? • OK. Where? • How about Bill's Seafood Restaurant?
i use a ratio of 1 sugar 2 butter 3 flour, thats easy to remember, and adding crushed almonds is great for the crumble part. I was joking about the apple seeds by the way.
Nick Johnson I've heard the same of cherry pits. They do contain it but in very very tiny amounts. You'd have to purposefully consume an unrealistic amount of the seeds for it to have any harm on your body.
Apple skins do add lots of extra flavor, granted. That's why I leave them on when I make apple sauce. I run them through a ricer after they're cooked, however, to remove them. I don't think I'd enjoy a dessert like this, tucking into a mouthful of skin.
Jimmy Kim nah he meant meusli, which is a dried cereal with nuts/fruit. Meuslix is commonly used to mean the same thing. Meuslix is a product from Kellogs...kinda like using the word Kleenex for a tissue.
pass me a piece please text it to me yummy thanks chef for receipe.i cant watch ur tv cookin shows u swear too much.im christian i watch chefs dont swear.
This man is the Albert Einstein of cooking and the best part is he shares his expertise with everyone!
Speaking as a college student; this is the only way I've learned to cook something other than ramen noodles...
The scrambled eggs are amazing.

Lovely to watch a master work. Bravo to the director and crew as always for a great looking production to go with great looking food.

His voice is so soothing lol

It is unique, but no one would prefer this recipe over the traditional. He personalized this way too much.
Elisa Chavez god forbid someone have a negative opinion, right?
No one?
could watch this guy cook forever.....
I've made this couple of times and it's good but leave out the lemon. I really didn't think it tasted nice with it in there.
+njitram2000 the lemon juice or zest or just altogether?
+Miichikoro06 Both. I like lemon but the taste and extra acidity just didn't work for me in this.
+Michael Dunn Thank you all!!! 😊😊😊
the lemon zest & juice worked for me though.
orange zest is less harsh and nice with it.
Simple and great! Thanks!
How would you serve this out of that pan? As in, how would you get it out without ruining it?
pinch of salt in the crumble helps ;)
I feel like he was trying to seduce me ;)
Haha
Bri B That's how Gordon used to be before he went to the USA and played being an arsehole. The UK version of his t.v. show was less screaming and abuse, and a lot more help.
Gordon in UK: "Olive oil, salt, pepper...beautiful ❤ "
Gordon in USA: "YOU OVERCOOKED THE FOKEN DONKEY, YOU DONKEY."
mission accomplished
NO do not let him.... he will find fault with you haha
Bri B i
Did it brown on top? It looked the same coming out of the oven as it did going in!
I can't help but feel like he's talking dirty to me in bed. Lol
Marlene Leiva okay like wtf though
One could say the way he speaks his passion for cooking is sensual enough to be sweet talk a girl into bed 🤣🤣
Thank you! Love apple crumble.
What did he say to use instead of crunchy granola?? Mewsley? Someone please help.
Muesli
thats weird he didnt swear ....
No it's not he only swears when someone pisses him
Just like everyone else
He is perfect at cooking just not so simple unless you live upstairs from a market! I haven’t all these ingredients at hand
Where can I get the full recipe measurements?
Absolutely great, delicious 🤤

I like apple crumble.
Chef Ramsay Is On A Mission lol love him haters.
i watched his entire cookery course-this was great but not the cream of the crop of his course-i would really recommend watching the entire series he has some great general tips and sauces that has made me overall a better cook.
I have to admit I prefer the plain crumble topping. No granola for me thanks.
That....was epic.
I'm sure my late mum, whose receipe I'm searching for, would be looking at this and saying 'what a wanker!'
I would love to taste your cooking... You are awesome....GOD BLESD YOÜ
one of his only dishes I wouldn't consider tasting

i use a ratio of 1 sugar 2 butter 3 flour, thats easy to remember, and adding crushed almonds is great for the crumble part. I was joking about the apple seeds by the way.
Perfect!!!!
Aww Gordon….You are tickling My taste buds 😍
What about the lamb sauce
Hey Gordon I know you’re a master chef and all but monica says you’re doing it wrong, cheers!
What kind of pan is he using? Does anyone know?
A pan.
Hob-proof baking dish
+TheLolliopops le Crueset buffet casserole
If someone serves this to him he throws it on the floor! Cranberries and lemon no longer makes this an APPLE PIE!
what kind of pan is this?
You can use a general pie pan with teflon inside.
I would call it Apple and Cranberry Crumble.
the flavor is in the seeds, the secret is to put the lemon and apple seeds in
Apple seeds contain cyanogenic acids which are considerably toxic to the body. Maybe you should leave them out the next time around.
Nick Johnson I've heard the same of cherry pits. They do contain it but in very very tiny amounts. You'd have to purposefully consume an unrealistic amount of the seeds for it to have any harm on your body.
What world does this guy come from where there's flavor in apple seeds. What the actual fuck.
Epic apple crumble, but i just can't see a slice on a plate... It will definitely crumble
Everybodys good at cookin something, and Im good at cookin crumble!
Exact ingredient listing?
it's in the first link
:0)
Gordon didn't give an exact amount on hope much flour he used?
Not mention quantity??
Apple skins do add lots of extra flavor, granted. That's why I leave them on when I make apple sauce. I run them through a ricer after they're cooked, however, to remove them. I don't think I'd enjoy a dessert like this, tucking into a mouthful of skin.
l don't know about the rest of you but l don't think l'd like the skins in there. Sure they add flavor but they'd be hard to chew and digest.
i thought it is so easy but this way so difficult
Try using pears. It's even better!
What is muesli?
You're on the internet right now... and you know how to spell the word... :-)
i think he meant mueslix.
Jimmy Kim He meant müesli, is a mix of sweetened cereals general used in Switzerland for breakfast :)
Jimmy Kim nah he meant meusli, which is a dried cereal with nuts/fruit. Meuslix is commonly used to mean the same thing. Meuslix is a product from Kellogs...kinda like using the word Kleenex for a tissue.
Why is this guy speaking like Jon Snow?
It's difficult to be upset when saying "crumble"
Enoooooorme !!
The johnny sins of food
It looks underdone. Needs some more browning on top.
the sugar helps get ride of tartness in the apples?? really?? ... who knew?!?
the sound is too compressed
Love
YUM
hi i need the proper ingredients
Ermmm then go buy them.
+EpicWaterDrop lol
He is sieving his hand
Beautiful recipe tho......
Lost me at cranberries and lemon juice, people always try n make it too fancy just to stand out.
cut a slice and give it to me!
lol burned cranberries sticking out on the top at the end lol
No
it helps to soak em in cold water first
You gotta love this guy, but why in the world does he jump so much?
Vibrating buttplug stimulating his prostate
He’s just energetic and always has been
Using a gas stove are we ?
Putin approves 😅
( is MARIA SPANISH ) Where is handsome man the ingredients??? ahahal :-)
poxa, ele nem cortou
#Overthetop (this is not a hate comment)
It is true that British people don't differentiate between a crisp and a crumble?
That is an apple crumble. Crisp is not a word that should be used to describe a dish like this.
pass me a piece please text it to me yummy thanks chef for receipe.i cant watch ur tv cookin shows u swear too much.im christian i watch chefs dont swear.
Gordon Ramsey is so gorgeous and sexy, and naturally attractive in every way, I really hope he is nice as he seems.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Jeanette Avila
He talks and acts like food is his wife and mother
Idk why but his pie looks like it not going to be great 🙂
He's always so over the top. Majority of people are looking for less sophisticated cooking for an apple crisp.
MmmHmmm. He's was definitely seducing ! Lol
Damn Gordon, you sound so dirty..... :D
Meh, too much extra crap - apple peel, lemon zest, cranberry, granola. Leave all that shit out.
You lost me at minced apple
Not a very good camera man focus too much on Gordon's face.
Makes me nervous .....slow down or u will have a heart attack! 😕
