When Joelle suggested to lay with my back down I immediately had a bad thought “oh no, I might have to stay laying here waiting for my partner to come back home to help me up”. This is how bad my sciatic pain has been for the past 7 years. Every time I lay down I have such excruciating pain that sometimes I feel like the wrong movement might make my leg not work anymore. It’s terrible.
After this 10 minute video, I was able to get up without any pain or discomfort after so many years. I felt so emotional that now I’m writing this. Thank you so much for sharing 💕

My sciatica pain was so bad I was walking like an 80-year-old. I did this video and didn't even get through all of it because of the pain. Never morning, the pain was only at a 15-20%. Nothing else had helped this much! Simple yet amazing!!!

After a month of doing this routine religiously, I want to tell this with immense joy and happiness that my sciatica nerve pain is gone completely.
I'm a volleyball player and since the age of 16 I have slipped discs and sciatica nerve pain.
I'm 33 right now and I can move freely after almost 16 years. I pledge to do yoga regularly for lifetime.

I do a lot of weightlifting, and I used to be Army Infantry, got Sciatica as a result. Tried this, and like magic, its gone.

This was amazing! I'm actually a fitness instructor (HIIT & Weights) and have had sciatic pain for about a month which, when exercising, is agony. My friend recommended yoga, and after this, I could almost cry because it's the first time in what feels like forever I can move around without pain. Thank you

I only worked 3-11 shift but we had no aide so had to do work of two people and lower back so-o sore tdy. The Hip Bursitis Pain 10 minute workout has been helping me immensely but now I’ve developed this awful lumbar back pain (feels like that part of my spine is broken) so maybe what I’m doing for glutes/bursitis is making me more unbalanced than I already was (thus the bursitis occurred). Was on here looking for lower back pain workout by Joelle and this seemed the closest to it.
I have only been following this routine for about a week and I can already feel a difference in my sciatic pain. I had gotten to the point where I needed a cane to walk around the grocery store. I'm 33. But my back pain from working a desk job and taking care of my toddler was unbearable. Thank you for this series!

Thank you so much for this exercise video! Ive been suffering hamstrings pain over a year now whenever I do need to kick higher during my Irish dance practicing. Ive been seeing my chiropractic doctor but the pain never goes. Today, for the first time I went to orthopedic surgical clinic and the pain is caused by piriformis syndrome and Sciatica pain. I'm taking this practice until I feel comfortable! Arigato gozaimzasu . Thank you very much!

I suddenly woke up with sciatic pain on the right side and it kinda ruined my day. I did this after the 15-min sciatica/piriformis stretch and it released SO much tension in my lower back/upper hip and it feels much better. Thank you so much

so glad i have found your channel. i am on corona or another strange virus right now, effecting my neuro system as this is my weak point (fibromyalgia and neuralgia). both scatias from pelvis to big toes are like in inflammation. i did your 10 minute exercises today and , no kidding, the pain is nearly gone! many thanks for sharing your videos!

Hi thank you I enjoyed this. I have some tightness at the back of my hip. I could a twinge down my leg I thought I'd get a head of it. Do you have any suggestions to stretch the fleshy bit at the back of the hip. It feels like it needs stretching. Thanks
Great idea to get ahead of it! For the fleshy bit, I'm not quite sure I know what you mean - do you mean the upper glute? During stretching, there is for me, a sense of relief. However, it makes no difference to the pain. Can you recommend specific exercises that help to shorten the tissues? (Many physiotherapists advocate this.)

I’m hesitant to try it. Have been advised by others that the forward fold is not good for sciatic nerve pain. I’m a person who used to forward fold flat palm to the floor. An overextension perhaps. I’m working on reverse back bends, spinal decompression, etc. Feedback please!
It's totally up to you and of course you're welcome to check with your doctor first. But it's also only 10 minutes and you're welcome to leave out any postures that don't feel good in your body 😉

I feel better after doing this . But some of the positions like 90degree of both legs . I’m not able to do that one . My body is not flexible. So overall I feel good . Thank you.
