- It's a cold and beautiful polar night winter here on Svalbard! Spend a relaxing day with me in our cabin, reading in front of the fire, filling up the firewood, going on a walk in the crips arctic air, underneath a sky full of northern lights ✨ Sometimes we just need a moment of calm in our lives, so I thought I would share a day of the peaceful Svalbard life with you 🫶🏻

I have a chronic illness too and I feel the same!! Snowy places look super peaceful to me and I wish to live in a place that snows one day (I’m from Florida).
@@ohsnapitzambrose I moved from palm beach county to colorado mountains 9,000' 14 years ago. My illness cronic 8 years prior went away.

@@ohsnapitzambrose Yes, heat, humid, bugs were not good for me. Now this is different all chronic illness, some warm is better. Not me live cold but very dry & sunlight, thin air rather then hot sticky humid.

I think I prefer the Polar night days because they are so cosy. And it's only 3 months or so and SO dark you feel asleep just watching it! It's like time off from real life... a little! I would like to see how somebody with a regular job like a store manager or a barista handles a normal week day when it's night time ALL day long! I can't wait for your first Sunlight video!

You, your partner and pup bring me so much joy through your videos. My dad just died, my brother is in jail, my other brother wants to hurt himself. Every time I think, well nothing else can happen, a whole new load comes. I’m no longer waiting for the day when things will settle down, because I honestly don’t know when or if they ever will. What I do know is that I can put my headphones on, sit with a hot cup of coffee on the porch, watch or even just listen to your videos and I feel better. When you do not hide the natural sounds of your environment and nature under songs and music, you literally take us there with you. I want to thank you (all 3 of you) for sharing your lives on Svalbard with me, and you will never fully understand how much it means to me! I had to move back to Greenville, Michigan in 2014 and though it is an hour from my old house in Grant, it has been rather hard at times. My house in Grant was where I could see the Aurora’s and stars and the Milky Way! I had 5 acres of land, and no trees up near the house. Now, living in an apartment I am lucky if I see any stars! Your sharing of your lives has enabled me to see God’s creation in the sky and for that I thank you Cecilia, Christoffer, and Grim! May you all be blessed in 2024! ❣️✨🌌
