Dear Cecilia: I am Canadian and for a good portion of my adult life I have despised winter. Since finding your channel, I have come to appreciate how lucky I am to live in a place that has 4 seasons and to see each season for its own unique beauty. I am coming to love winter. Tonight, we will probably have our first significant snowfall and I am excited. I can’t wait for there to be enough snow for snowshoeing! I can’t wait to get into the forest after a snowfall and experience the blissful quiet!
Amanda, I also had moments of not liking the winter. It did change though. Today, as a 35y.o. I was playing with my dog in knee deep snow! I live next to Krakow, Poland. Winter IS BEAUTIFUL. Enjoy your snow when you get it! ❄️☃️
I like the coziness of Canadian winters but not the snow and ice. I don’t think I will ever come to like not being to walk without crampons because it is a complete ice ring outside.
@amandahodgin9316 Hubby’s job moved us from 4 seasoned Indiana to South Carolina where more than a third of the year is above 90 degrees. Reading your post made me a bit homesick for those 4 seasons. Oh, how I miss the feel of winter in the air and that hush over the world that snow provides! Take a walk in those snowed over woods for me sometime. Enjoy your next experience hunkered down against a good strong winter storm with the knowledge that come July and august you won’t be hunkered down in the air conditioning because it’s just too hot and steamy outside like we will be in the interior of South Carolina where there are no seaside breezes that folks like to write about. 😊
Same here, first snow today, a little has fallen so far. I love the 4 seasons except for the melting of the snow pre-spring, so messy
@@shodson314 Girl i feel you SO SO much. My dad's job moved us about 9 years ago. It's crazy how most of my childhood was in NH yet I have been here now for longer which feels just horrible to say. We went from gorgeous New Hampshire to yucky humidity-driven North Carolina...I haven't seen snow in a few years if I am being honest, I miss it so much. Today it is 69f almost 70f. And it's DECEMBER?? like what. (pro tip) go up north during July and around there to beat (some) humidity that comes here

I’m in stitches 😂 Christoffer is calmly preparing the “degree of difficulty very high” saffron buns and making it look easy … whilst Cecelia is doing the “degree of difficulty very easy” (the dough is pre-prepared) ginger biscuits and making it look like a complex process with immense challenges. I've been a little blue, it's the first Christmas without both parents (Mum passed in March) but this baking session had me laughing and snorting my head off😂 Cecilia you are hilarious, and personally I LOVE how different you and Christoffer are, you compliment each other beautifully ❤ This is now a tradition and I love it, and I can't wait to try your recipes. I live in Florida, I have become addicted to Cecelia and Christopher and the Arctic North from afar. For me the hotter the more humid the better for my body but my mind wishes I could enjoy the cold, however, anything below is 60 is soooo cold for me LOL.
So appreciate this channel and its "stars" i.e. C and C, if gives me the chance to explore another world.

On Thursday and Friday this week, in Minnesota, the northern lights were SO INTENSE! The entire state could see them! Some areas even got this insane vibrant purples and pinks mixed in with the greens! 🎉

You can get them printed at office works for under $30 in the US I believe. I am not sure how it is done but several people I know who download books online do this & they become your hard copy, Or you could print the pages & insert them into plastic sleeves in an A4 binder as a cheaper alternative.

Grim has the best life. Curled up on his soft bed in his Christmas sweater, the house cosy and warm. Mum & Dad laughing and baking in the kitchen with the smells of baked goods filling the cabin. I'm coming back as Grim in my next life.
