You got a 2023 model built after Nov 2022. Meaning you got a more comfy damper setup vs 2020-2022 MYPs. So you have a better suspension than the OP (more cushy but they say no compromise in handling).

Good video, but Please do not try to convince that ”you dont have to deal with the hazzle at the gas station” is a positive thing. The charging is much more complex in fast charging stations.
If you charge EVERY time at home, then that fact is true, but still refueling will take 2 minutes with petrol car.
This is not a disrespectfull comment, I am thinking about buying tesla too (hence here watching this video).
i mean plugging in takes about 1 minute as well and going to the gas station i have to drive 5 minutes to the station then wait in line for 5 minutes fuel up in 2 minutes then drive back home in 5 minutes.
My cars (model y performance) are due to arrive during July-September.. I can't wait haha
I purchased my first ev a model 3. tesla are the best car, its like a smart iphone car . auto pilot, safety collisions warning are great.
#4 range and lots of reliable charging network are the primary reason for me to choose this EV.
The Model Y performance looks so good in red! Unfortunately we have to have an ugly licence plate at the front in the UK which does somewhat spoil the clean look, but still, a great car.

Now about the bad ; 1- cheap paint quality, need to spend 2 thousands on ppf.
2-rust in less than 2 years in Canada, 600$ rustproofing and rework ( watch antirouille Bolduc)
3-Tires won’t last long and are costly
4-insurance cost are prohibitive except Aviva company.
5-210$/hours for repairs
6-Audio lossless only on a usb stick, Bluetooth on a 13 speakers is a shame.
Planned to buy one when the price will drop or when another offer will come !
I agree with 1, 3, and 5.
PPF is actually way more expensive than $1k. Can’t speak for rusting because I don’t live in a cold climate/near ocean. Insurance is actually pretty close to my old car’s rates - depends heavily on your driving history and other factors.
What form-factor factory batteries is the Model Y Performance using now? Does it vary between factories? Is this stated anywhere Tesla specifications? Why don’t Tesla show their batteries at showrooms?
I think the Long Range and Performance are the 2170s. And the Standard Range has the 4680s. But honestly, it doesn’t matter for the consumer which type of batteries you get. You won’t see a difference. It benefits Tesla the most from a manufacturing standpoint as they can put less batteries and get around the same range (in theory).
Still didn't get why model y and not model 3, taking the performance removes the higher ground clearance along with 21 inch wheels making it useless for light offroading.
Model 3 is cheaper, faster with lower center of gravity and longer range.
4:55 how much does this nema installation cost?
Depends on the distance from the breaker box to where you want the plug. Most electricians give free quotes. Same goes for the Tesla wall connector installation costs (after you have purchased the unit itself)
I just got my Nema 14-50 outlet installed by electrician. The distance from the e-panel to my garage is roughly 40”. I paid 900$ for the job, which took about 4 hrs.
