Wow sounds better than just stock once you turned it on. Good video. Probably in the future, you could install a seperate amp and a small single sub box for louder bass when some songs, the bass does not sound enough. The only thing though you will lose alittle trunk space with a small.sub box.
Can you help with the speaker wire connection . Bit confused that you have 2 color wires connecting to speaker 🔈. Blue and clear ? Why 2 different color
@@MandeepMaan13 I thought I was the only one.I have a 2013 Chrysler 300c Varvatos edition.92,000+ miles.Just changed my original battery in April 2022.Replaced it with a Duralast platinum battery.Hope I get at least 5 yrs.
I've honestly never seen the apline setup in the rear. But given that it's dodge it probably has something similar where you could tap into the wires. The question is why though, the harmon cardon (or whatever however you say or spell it) has great bass, my wife's challenger was impressive for a stock stereo. I wouldn't upgrade if I had hers. I didn't realize how bad mine was (for a stock system) till I got hers.
Hello. My wiring harness on the car side got stripped off. My beats by Dre subwoofer wiring harness is fine. Do you have any idea where I can find the car end wiring harness? I've been searching for 2 hours and would love some help if you know.
You would think the trunk lid and the back dash would block out tons of the sound. I have the beats and saw ppl swap out the beats speaker in the housing with a shallow mount subwoofer and wired a mono amp to that individually and was extremely happy. For that size and brand I have not heard. I think I would pay a little more for a better brand. Possibly. Would have to hear with my ears
Good video, how's the Rockville sub holding up? I'm thinking of getting this one or something similar for my car. Or do you recommend anything else since you made this video?
I k ow it’s been 9 months but even tho Rockville isn’t a bad speaker by no means I would most definitely go with Massive Audio. They have a 8 inch sub that is just like this, it’s freaking amazing. If it’s not enough go with the Skar Audio powered sub!!’ You won’t be disappointed!
Soon... Its just been super rainy lately. Every Friday at least. I have some better summer tires on it now so it hooks 'better' on the street than it did. It should go really fast if I can hook up. I ran a 10.9 spinning my ass off on all seasons so as far as I'm concerned mission accomplished. lol
Nice yeah good summer tires will definitely help as long as the tread lasts. I recommend nitto nt555 g2s in terms of price per grip but I drive on 315mm rears on a stock scat and i still spin out of the hole pretty easy.. I can only imagine what you're dealing with! DRs are probably the only way to tame this beast. That and a parachute!
@@juliorodriguez3533 I did trial and error. There are 4 wires 2 sets of 2. there are some forums that help a bit too. I think I linked it. Not be afraid it's easy.
For his setup, he does not need a bigger gauge wire since the battery is so close to the sub amp combo. Plus for a 25 amp fuse on the Rockville, 10 gauge wire should be good enough for that short run. (14.1 x 25 = 352.5 / 2 = 176.25 watts aproximate.) So his wires should be fine.
Complains about a 500 dollar sub bieng expensive ... buys a 90k dollar car tho 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and a challengr for his wife... 180k worth of vehicles. And u whining about a few more dollars on a sub. Smh🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️i cant even get my wife to consider us getting a charger of anykind and we can afford on. But .... its not practical she says. 🙄🤣like i care.i just wanna shred tires.
You spent that much on the car, but you buy the cheapest Chinese crap to "improve" your stereo? I cant believe how much on one hand a person. Can spend on one thing, but the cheap out on the next. You wouldn't have bought a cheap Chinese engine for that car or exhaust.....but you will for the stereo..🤣🤣
Ehh… with somethings quality is very important. With others it’s not. If you don’t apply some sort of logic to decide what to go cheap on and what to go expensive, how do you get past that? Just because I spent 20k on the motor doesn’t mean I’m gonna go with a baller stereo.
Mine has been fine. The amp doesn’t get all that hot. Not enough power. I don’t think heat is a real issue as long as it has room around it. Mine has worked flawlessly since I installed in in the video
Them flat amp subs suck big time ..the. U have it under there you won't hear crap .. I would get a real box even a a shallow sub will sound wayyy louder and cleaner
True…. But…. Let’s say you don’t want a big ass sub box taking up your trunk. Does the flat amp sub sound better than stock? Yes. A lot better. But if you want to have an actual big sub get one. If you want better sound but can’t put a big sub in and you are broke / cheap this is an excellent option.
That's exactly what I want for my Mach 1 setup. Completely hidden using the spare tire space, I like your configuration!
My opinion u probably would of get a better bass response if u put it under passenger seat
Yes bro my uncle with a 2002 Silverado with 2 12s under the seat and they slap

So why not directly connect the new sub to the existing wires?
Another great video with the all important cold start! Man that car is awesome! Awesome little sub package!
Nice, I have same issue with my beats by Dre on my Chrysler 300. I will try this upgrade. Thanks
For the price it’s well worth it.

I have always liked the idea of the battery in the trunk area. Heat and the elements of the engine bay are not battery friendly.
I know it’s so much better I have 2014 chrysler 300s 3.6L I changed my car’s battery this year in 2022 it lasted me almost 8 years.
1999-2004 Chrysler 300M had the worse battery placement.Down near the wheelwell on the passenger side.Always got charged extra for the labor.

Thats the kick i needed 😉 keep it up!
Now my question is can you add a sub to the alpine set up
Yeah just buy a (LOC) line out converter. The lc2i is a good option!

@@DadMods I’m a do a install of one 10in and 1 12in soon and I will even be telling people why I went with 2 different size speakers 🔊
I know a 12 can produce frequencies that a 10 can't and vice versa. That why?
We painfully had to watch him struggle to back his car up just so he could show off his exhaust 😆 🤣
Bro he turned around so he could put the sub in 💀💀💀💀
Did you know there is another 8" woofer on the under side of the rear deck? Yup and my beats makes my mirrors shake and some songs make my ears itch.
What about the remote wire

15k in the motor w a $100 sub lol

Love the build, drive safe and I hope drag radials help the ETs 👍

Where did you run the blue remote wire I have a Chrysler 300 with the beats system
Wondering the same thing. Which wire is the remote? I have a 2020 300
It can activate from the speaker power it doesn’t need it
So your getting the sound from tapping into the beats wires that was connected to the sub
Yup. It’s still connected to the beats sub and it still works
How did you know which wire is which And also what did you connect a remote cable to

I wanna do this to my 06 charger
I wish I had Bests in my 2020 Scat Widebody
Alpinr sounf is horrible
10 gauge power wire is dangerously thin for that wattage. 400 watts rms should be no smaller than 8 gauge. ESPECIALLY coming from a cheap brand
I’m pretty sure it’s nowhere near 400 watts RMS.
Lol that is no way 400 rms clamp it bet it draws 10/15 amps
@@DadMods unfortunately I’d say you’re right. But if it was really 400 watts with 10g power wire, I’d up your insurance policy

That subwoofer is only 200w rms honestly is the beats only 100w rms? I mean if the difference is that big the stock system by beats much suck 😅
It does. The beats sub is pretty shit.
beats are mostly just popular because of the brand. They’re not really great quality.
Doing this ruined my electrical system and was a parasitic drain on my battery
Lol beats blow
The headphones aren’t all that tbh.
