Hey Big D. I ordered and received my 4 Sub Mini subwoofer box from Dohm Audio in Argentina. I'm in Canada. He has new Neodymium Disc Magnets. Really strong Magnets. Nice build with 4 speakers and lights.
This could make a killer garage/shop set up. Make a box for this and two 5-1-4" two-ways and a cheap head unit that has a rear channel crossover and it would look hilarious and awesome at the same time.
Would be useful for in dash subs in little custom boxes! Or in the door cards in separate little bass boxes so as much as it's not a 12" sub on the rear parcel shelf or in a boot sub box it could definitely be useful up front with a dedicated crossover to limit frequencies and make a mid sub instead of just a normal midrange driver..

This little thing looks like a lot of fun. I wonder how well it would do in a bookshelf speaker build and what hz it can be pushed to if you were to stack a couple of them in a proper bass cab with some port magic.?
Ooooooo I love that this exists. I have a cheap tiny sub for my desk speakers that does a decent job adding some balance, but leaves something to be desired. I think I’ll grab one or two of these to make a smaller enclosure with hopefully a big improvement in sound
So ive seen people use full size subs in power wheels before but that takes up so much room and then a full size car battery and amps its just obnoxiously large for an every day kids toy. But what about 4 of these powered by a pc speaker power supply. Dont need the bluetooth the aux cord would be good. I know it wont be slamming but would it be functionally loud and basey enough to overcome the loud electric motors and plastic tires on gravel? Its hard to judge off the video. Would it be possible for you to do a decible and clarity comparison to a common set of pc speakers or bluetooth travel speaker? Also was this video done with a flat eq? I didnt really notice much distortion. If its loud enough im thinking 4 of these with a pair of tweets and a motorcycle battery would make a pretty dope and eye appealing power wheel set up. I mean scale wise it would be like 4 8s in a truck.
That's cool...I got a question..❤my pro installed 2 12 and 1000 watt set up had the capacitor leak and I had to un hook it from the batery..I assume indnt realy need the capacitor but I dnt know how to bypass it and dnt wananhurt anything..its a 16 year old kicker solo and alpine amp and stinger big wire set up good stuff. But the capacitor like a reg battery like a for toys it jst got old and leaked acid and failed..
Do these act as full range speakers or are they made for just bass? Reason I'm asking is cuz they sound like they're not just putting out bass in the demo.
That's some cool equipment, too bad it's only 10w I'd love to see something with more power. I'm looking for something like this for my suv that won't take up that much room Got any suggestions
I find the built quality worth the price. Does anyone really need them, no, but they have the biggest cool factor in a long time. They‘re built like the real thing, like any subwoofer should be constructed like.
Would that Mini Sub be able to be effective on a Sim Rig, Like in behind a metal grid, And within a Sim Racing seat, Would it be effective for sim racing??
Hey guys. I have a question for you guys. I (due to some negligence) fried my sub. Now I'm in the market for a replacement but here's the thing. The one I fried is a 250 watt RMS thing and I'd like to get a stronger one to prevent it happening again. Now I'm looking at a 400 watt RMS speaker but would like to reuse the old one's box (ported) due to the fact that it leaves a lot of trunk space and getting a new box would make it more expensive than I can afford at the moment. So my question really is can I reuse the box with a stronger speaker or will this damage it (the speaker)? I can live with it not having optimal SPL I just want headroom to prevent frying the new unit. I'm using a blaupunkt gta 470 amp bridged.

@UniCrafter The best headphones are skullcrusher 360s for bass. They are limited editions and they vibrate your ears, jaw, and face. They are incredible.
Now thats an idea.....
I have the skullcandy crushers and they have bass that is so loud it makes me get headaches from wearing them
@@filgiupo4853 Be sure to adjust your base settings so it's more balanced.
@@mediocreman2 yea i’ve got some EQ settings figured out so it’s all balanced now but sometimes i like to use them for their intended purpose, shaking my head 😂
How are you filtering out the Treble ? I don’t see any inline EQ or crossover? It looks like you just wired up to a head unit speaker channel.
Childhood dream!
I have about 200 rc cars. Never thought about a mini sound system. Pretty damn cool!
I wonder what 20 of those would sound like in a box. I'd like to hear that.
64 of them! 8x8 square. Get about the same size as a solo x 15. 640 watts, it could be sick!
@@fortyfukinseven $ 5120 plus tax plus enclosure costs/time involved. Yikes
I was thinkin 40 of em in place of 4 dvc 10s just to see but at 3200 before tax ill stick with my 10s
Could these replace tweeters or stock window speakers in a 2017 Chevy Silverado?
coolest toy all year.
This little thing looks like a lot of fun. I wonder how well it would do in a bookshelf speaker build and what hz it can be pushed to if you were to stack a couple of them in a proper bass cab with some port magic.?
I wonder if this would be a great replacement for soundbar speakers for more low end I believe that there speakers are simular wattage
Yes it would work if the enclosure is done perfectly
Bruh! This is AWESOME! The mad scientist's ideas in my head are swirling! 😂 Thank you for the vid!
we need a real test wood box
I want sum for my home speaker set up. I'll have to reduce power w a capacitor but think be great mids or something adjusted right
How come these don't come in laptops
Ooooooo I love that this exists. I have a cheap tiny sub for my desk speakers that does a decent job adding some balance, but leaves something to be desired.
I think I’ll grab one or two of these to make a smaller enclosure with hopefully a big improvement in sound
Wonder how about 200 of them would sound in a car
16K why not! Lol
@@logibear453why not. Multi sub setups cost big money why not be very different
Could I put them in place of tweeters or in the dash or door where I don't have alot of room? Single cab titan with crap sound.
5 mins, I love how you captured the true essence of a thumping car with a loose license plate ;-) Do they actually like how awful it is?
What's the frequency response? How low does it go?
Is it gonna make a different if I build 24" box with my Bluetooth speaker system in it and replace the speakers with 5 or 10 of these?
Looks and sounds like a good one to have for your laptop computer or desktop computer.
So if you run 12 of them it should perform the same as 2 12s? Powered by 600w peek.
Did you connect these directly to a head unit or amped? Thanks.
Awesome video btw
Giving love because this thing is cool AF. Good stuff brother.
Can this fit in the dash of a Pacifica? Concerned about the depth clearance.
Those little subwoofers sound amazing for how small they are amd they look amazing to. 😊😮
Just seen these yesterday on B2 Audio site. Couldn't believe they made a sub for RC cars. Where were these when I was a kid lol.
These are also a limited supply according to their website so I would grab em while you can.
man these would be perfect to replace my factory headrest speakers!! i think they are maybe 3" or 3.5 th0, do these come in any other sizes?
What is the frequency response?
That small, I'm impressed 👍🤞
Thanks for sharing this
Do these act as full range speakers or are they made for just bass? Reason I'm asking is cuz they sound like they're not just putting out bass in the demo.
This is fantastic! ...and your own song? ...sweet!
Would these work if I swap my A pilar tweeters with these?
That's some cool equipment, too bad it's only 10w
I'd love to see something with more power. I'm looking for something like this for my suv that won't take up that much room
Got any suggestions
I find the built quality worth the price. Does anyone really need them, no, but they have the biggest cool factor in a long time. They‘re built like the real thing, like any subwoofer should be constructed like.
Been planning to put these in some seats I'm making lol. Gonna have a switch on the panel to turn the. On and off but thought it'd be worth a shot.
Would that Mini Sub be able to be effective on a Sim Rig, Like in behind a metal grid, And within a Sim Racing seat, Would it be effective for sim racing??
What kind of an amp did you use to power them?
Are these Bluetooth or do you need a tiny radio in the RC car?
That's so cute and awesome 👍😎 Big D for the win‼️👍👍
Honestly, this makes more sense than building a full sized comp car. You could bring one of these to a BBQ as a novel BT speaker system!
Can you do a 12 rage review please?
Could you use this in a Bluetooth speaker to if you wanted to build one
Finally! Those former great amp brands have a purpose. They might struggle hitting that 10W RMS but having a Precision Power amp would look great.
How cute!!
I would buy that literally to set next to my Baby Air Jordan’s I have on my bookshelf.
Just looking at it makes me smile for some reason.
