  • @MrKrish91
    @MrKrish91 4 роки тому +10

    Yamaha R15 V2 comes with a fuel injector (FI) which means it injects petrol at a very specific time when the inlet valve starts tp open by the cam, that is at the very beginning of the suction stroke if we skip one tooth of the cam while placing the timing chain, towards clockwise direction - technical term is "advance", when it is anticlockwise direction - it is "retard" .
    In advance, the injector will spray fuel when the piston has gone halfway toward the BDC(Bottom Dead Centre), which makes uneven mixing of the fuel-air mixture. In retardation, the inlet valve opens slowly after the injector had sprayed fuel. so in, either way, there is power loss due to more fuel-air mixture in advance and less fuel-air mixture in retard.
    By looking at the piston, there are chances of the wrong fitment of piston rings, where it led to the leakage of combustion towards the oil chamber, which damaged the purpose of the oil rings of the piston.

      We can't blame any one bro
      1) service duing people are not that educated in this field
      2) there training period is less when compared to other countries
      3) they get low wages
      4) people ask for quick service
      Because of all this we get bad service

    I agree, most of the otharized workshops don't follow the compny guidelines, they tend to skip critical steps just to save some money, which in further lead to complete failure.
    Its always batter to be on top of them and tell them to follow all steps thoroughly..
    I like the background disposal glasses arrangement which you used to keep all nuts properly :)

    Bro Hi
    U are doing an amazing work.
    I have a query.
    I've been told by my mechanic that my bikes piston, head and valves (half engine) work needs to be done.
    So basically they will bore the engine head and put a new slightly bigger piston.
    My question is should I go for this method or go for a new oem engine head kit which would not require it to bore.
    I hope u understand my query.

    • @JeetBhaskar
      @JeetBhaskar  4 роки тому +5

      As far as my experience goes with boring the cylinder.... Just stay away from it. Replace it with a brand new cylinder kit.

    Nice vedio bro ..me too done engine rebuild at showroom that logged in a bill of 14000 for a rebuilt ..apart from that they didn't done any thing ..when I given the biketo service centre I noticed them there is a missing when revved hard . When I gone to take delivery they showed me a bill stating every thing changed the tank cleaned .. but the issue again popped up after next day .finally I myself done removing the tank .. to my surprise they even untouched the screws holding fuel injectors ..I dismantled everything and I found water inside the tank the real culprit ..any how now I try DIY .I became experienced in my bike .. so if u own a r15 try to do everything yourself .. only depend on showroom if the condition is too worsened ..

    Even I will repair my own engine. My pulsar 135 is leaking oil badly, I have to add like 100-200ml per 500km, oil leaks from engine block gasket on left side. I'll get an amazing opportunity to I spent all the major parts like valves, rocker arms, timing chain, piston etc. In case something has a play, I'll change it.
    My bike's pickup has decreased, oil consumption has increased while petrol consumption is almost same, on high rpm there is white smoke though.

      Kon se tools use huye,

    how many kilometers were on the clock? I have an air cooled YS-125, do you have them in India as well? I ordered a broken engine to strip down for parts and apart from the head, it looks very similar to this engine internally. Probably many interchangeable parts.

    Super bro at least you try and do.... very good job 👍
    Hey even I have R15 v2 and it’s 6 years old, now while riding it suddenly gets off, had been to service center and outside mechanics too but it’s not getting corrected
    Can you suggest what might be the reason

      Can be as simple as a loose connection of ignition coil terminals or something big with Wiring... Can't say much without seeing the bike in person brother.
