Sucks to hear about your experience with AFD. I ordered some splitter rods from them and they were chipped/blemished. They never responded to my email. The team at Import Image Racing are great to work with. Ship fast + good service. I still got maybe 3 washers in my trunk 🤣
I have this same AFD wing and am actually very disappointed. If you look at the wing’s angle of attack it actually generates lift rather than downforce. Compare the angle it to any OEM STi wing and you’ll see what I mean. Curious to what your thoughts are.
It's garbage to be polite. Their customer service, or rather lack there of, is even worse and what makes me hands down tell everyone to go to ANY other company. And try to find a 3 pc like the stock STI's have.
My AFD v3.5 wing wasn’t even painted on the bottom and crevasses… there was also debris and wood chips w/ clear coat over it on the bottom in which I cannot remove.. emailed them about it and never responded back to me..
The good brand names like IKON or NOBLE run right around $400-$450. Amazon has cheap off brand China ones for half that but they have horrible reviews, you know you get what you pay for.

Def not common! Stay away from AFD...we'll never buy from them again. Crap products and even worse/non existent customer service. Also, try to find a 3 pc if you do get another. More stable.
You think anyone with the tools and patience to go slow enough can install this without prior drilling experience with metal and etc? Buying the tools to do this is cheaper than paying for a professional install.
Double check your mounting screws...I was so afraid of overtightening but when I looked at ours after a test drive they did still need tightened quite a bit more. After retightening we have virtually zero movement.

Honestly yes I do. Just go slow with the drill and careful you don't punch too deep.
