I COMPLETELY understand that deep breath right before drilling into the trunk 😂. Did my APR spoiler a couple months ago and they don’t send any sort of template. I had to measure like 10x before I was like “f**k it, send it” 😂
The anxiety was through the roof!!! Worth it though!
As much as it pained me watching you drill into the trunk, I enjoyed watching the whole process. Racecar!
It hurt me to put holes in the trunk too don't worry!
Measure once cut twice is what I like to say! Nice work brother. Cheers!
Thanks, man!!
There is an identical car to yours I saw on my lunch break today. Looks amazing.
There can only be one!!! Lol
Hey Buddy. I missed seeing your face on my computer screen. Wing looks good. I have to admit though no fault of yours I thought the wing was from Varis until the end of the video. Can't wait to see the installation on the front.
Thanks for the support!!
You won with the "very much functional f**k it" comment. Great video!
Thanks! Appreciate you watching!
“C’mon get in the hole” lol
Sick wing tho
🤣🤣🤣
It’s about time Kevin showed us his…
BIG WANG!!!!!! 😂
There's more where that came from!!! 😂😂
I could hear the stress in your voice with that first hole you drilled. Now imagine the same, but with the 5" hole saw I used to install the snorkel on my Tacoma. Talk about measure 1000 times and cut once. It may have required a little liquid courage as well...
It all turned out OK thankfully 😅
I keep comparing this, adro's, and zebulon. Honestly it probably doesnt matter between them and what deal i find will get the final say. I am a sucker for swan necks though.
damn this looks good, but I can never forgive you for installing the adhesive in the wrong orientation, Kevin
I wasn't aware there was a correct orientation 😅
I simp for verus engineering
They're basically magicians
Just like the video for the hood cut outs...this one was butt clenching. I really like the look and I'd love to do it to my car but if I fucked it up I'd cry since shipping a new trunk or hood to Hawaii is insane.
As long as you don't rush it, you'll be fine! It's a lot easier than it seems.
installing a versus engineering chassis mounted front splitter?
😉
Whats the length of that wing?
Looking good. How did it feel at Gingerman? Improve your times?
Car felt really planted and a lot more grip than I had confidence for. This was my first time at gingerman. I ran a 1:46.1 on Friday and wasn't even able to come close to it the rest of the weekend. Seemed as though track conditions got worse or maybe I'm just slow haha
@@KevinVo Man thats really fast there for a NA twin good job. I heard alot of ppl got their best time Thursday or early Friday.
Would this fit on the new 2022 86?
Would these holes line up with the wing holes from the 2018 brz limited
No these would not line up.
You experience wobbles or like steering issues at higher speeds with that big wing?
Nope, solid at full speed. A wing properly installed shouldn't cause any steering issues or wobbles.
Wish was SARD
Sard wing is cool, but wouldn't provide the same amount of performance compared to the Verus wing.
@@KevinVo true that... now you are tracking it so make sense
