From the distance of few meters away from my 65" tv I cannot see the difference between fullHD and 4k. So I don't see the point of my participation in that BETTER RESOLUTION race
I built a similar one and temps were so high I had to rebuild it. 8700G + Noctua NH-L9a, same case, was jumping over 90C all the time and in cinebench was around 95C too. Chipset was around 80C and was transferring heat to SSD, which was above it. I had to rebuild it in Fractal Design Torrent Nano black, NH-U12S cooler. Much bigger, but at least is cool.
Beelink, Minisforum etc are all Chinese companies with absent customer service. Having a “build” means that you get warranty for all parts. For me spending a couple of hundred dollars for this seems like a better deal
Having used this casing before for a previous build, there are a couple of things I wanted to call out. (1) There are 2 versions with 150W Bronze vs 200W Gold rating PSUs. My suggestion is to stay away from the 150W because the PSU runs extremely hot and struggling to keep up with the desktop class CPU power requirements. The extreme heat is not an isolated case because you can still google and find comments on it. (2) The case is extremely tight in space and therefore makes wire routing very tough, and severely limits the cooler you can use. Overall I agree it is very compact, but my personal opinion is to use a bigger ITX case which offers better flexibility when it comes to hardware choice and cooling performance.

@@pekholtz I have, upscaled on a 1440p monitor, emulated in Ryujinx. It looked nicer. but what killed it was not being able to use the joycons from the switch. They really make the game much more immersive. And yes, I tried several guides on how to connect them, nothing worked. Back to the switch I went.
I still have my old Node202 which I really love. Maybe I will do another ITX build with it now that the 780M is actually quite good and AM5 somewhat cheap.
Holy smokes so I went and priced this I got about $900 that's really expensive for the PC, when you compare it to Minisforum UM760 Slim for 349.00 !!! ~T
The Sk Hynix Platinum P41 isn't new at all, but it is just as awesome today as it was when it came out 2 years ago. I use it as my main SSD in 3 different systems. It has incredible sustained performance and longevity as well as thermals and power consumption. I haven't found a better all around SSD since I Found the P41 platinum 2 years ago.

With the x870 itx boards around the corner all having usb4 as standard you can pair a build like this with a GPD G1 egpu for that extra boost when needed or even add a low profile oculink PCI e card for other egpu personally I'm waiting for asrocks x870 itx boards should be good value and the 9800x3d should be more then enough for emulators 😅

Are you actually able to put the side panel back on? It looks like the cooling fan sits above the threshold for where the panel goes into place. Maybe my vision sucks though.
This is so great. I hope AMD will support better faster RAMs for example with 8000MT/s. With that it will be possible to power up an i890M or even a 20CU iGPU. I hope AMD will make something like that for Ryzen 9700G.
We never got to see the build with its cover put on. I definitely want to know whether the AMD cooling fan can not fit because i notice the grill on the cover is slightly raised
As much as I like to save money on no GPU ..the case is just way to exspensive and you need great RAM with low CAS so that 86 or 8700g can fly. I just threw in a old 580rx and I got better performance after turning off the integrated graphics. Funny thing is when I had the the graphics on AMD FSR was working with the 580rx...until I had to reboot the PC.
I was interested in building something exactly like this a month or two ago. But then the 6800H version of the Gem10 got so cheap I bought one of those based on your review of it. Been pretty happy with it. I even have a Solidigm P44 2TB ordered to replace its 512GB drive. Any idea if the Solidigm drivers work with the SK Hynix drive? They are the same company, and it may give a small performance boost over the built in Windows NVME driver. But after that, people have to have to have to stop looking at the worst most useless benchmark for SSDs. That 7k GB/s number is only ever applicable when copying large files from one SSD to another. It's meaningless for 99.99% of a system's usage.

I like thi mini builds, but even in this size i'd rather choose 7600+radeon 6400 or even try to replace PSU with hdplex 250w gan to recieve more space for 2 slots GPU. Volume of the case ramains the same but performance will rise dramatically. P.S. Cooler showed very nice results!
I've been looking at building a PC using the Inwin Chopin Max case for a while now. The only thing that concerns me is the PSU fan noise when loaded. I was wondering if anyone could comment on that? It's really great value when you consider it includes a 200 W PSU. I already have a small form factor build PC (about 4 L) using the Enhance ENP-7660B 600W Flex ATX power supply. That PSU is really quiet under load (almost silent for loads up to about 450 W), but it's expensive. It would be much cheaper to use the Inwin Chopin Max with built in PSU if the max load is less than 200 W.
how big is the difference to the 8600G? The 8600G is almost 100€ cheaper here in germany. Oh, and i wonder if all the tests were done with open case? Is it even possible to close it?

The only SSD speed that matters in Crystal disk Mark is in lower left corner and it is 70.82 in this video. That is the speed you actually use most of the time, everyday. That is what should be the highest possible for the PC to feel responsive and fast. 70 is not high enough for a fast drive. Should be closer to 100. By the way The 7000 mb/s speed is only that if you have 2 of the same SSDs in the same PC and copy from one to the other, but only for a short time. As soon as cache is filled your 7000 mb/s speed goes to much much slower... But Everyone always advertise the Useless 7000 speed, instead of achieving higher speed in the only important one that is the 70.82 here...

Off the video topic but as a person who do not build a PC ever should I go for the Intel NUC Serpent Canyon to play some AAA games like Black Myth Wukong or Warhammer 2 at 1080 at around 60 fps or are there any better option around that price range 1k USD. I want a small compact pc because I have my main laptop but I want to have a second one that dedicated for gaming only

Had an upgrade path and runs cooler, a lot cooler. I ditched mini-PCs and built a system like this right after the 8700G was launched. Could not be happier.

I've seen videos on how to repurpose older machines, But I would rather not go through the hassle considering some of these low cost mini computers out today. I have a dozen 4K IP cameras. and I don't wanna overspend, but I also don't want any bottlenecks. Any recommendations What I should be looking at would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The point of this is that you can have up to 5 drives in it while the one you mentioned is unlikely more than 2.

Got an atom man G7PT with one terabyte of storage and 32 gigs of ram for 1099 with promo code. Both it and the hx99g are better than this.

I'm using that exact same cooler on my 12600kf and works wonderfully good for the size and price (around 27 euro)

I can see the CPU replacing the GPU in the future the way things are going.

Best way still would be a PC with Windows and autostart Steam into big picture mode. Yeah Linux works but I wouldn't recommend this to noobs.

The case is NOT 3,3L. 21.7×8.4×24.4 = 4447.632 cm3 = 4.4 L. Still very snall though! Less than half the volume of a Fractal Terra.
An aliexpress 4L case looks much more optimized and has more space for $50
