Hi Christina I dislocated my knee patela it’s been 5 months and still limp when I walk and quad muscle weakness did you experience that with your injury and how long ?
I have a small limp still and it’s been 6 months since dislocation . I can bend pretty well though . I can walk without any help but it’s not like before at all cause of the limp. Did you struggle with a limp and if so, for how long ?
I had a full dislocation on the 24th of April and still 2 weeks later cannot lift my leg while laying, I have 2 partial tears and two fractures. I have a non operative 13+ week treatment plan but I can get into physical therapy until 4 weeks after injury so it will probably take longer. At this point I’m honestly just so frustrated and worried that it will happen again at some point in my life and that it’ll probably never feel the same.
@@ComplexPersonaMK hey its been 2 months since i partially dislocated mine, but i still can't climb up or down stairs normally, when were u able to do the stairs bit normally?
Thank you so much for taking the time to post an update and answering my question! 🤍 I was wondering how long it took you to be able to use the stairs?

Did you ever have surgery?
No, they did xrays and no bones were broken or fractured and I guess the rest of my knee was okay so did not have surgery.
