All of the other cops knew she was out of control and still backed her 100 percent.
This is why there are no bad apples , they are all bad apples when they back bad officers.

That's what really bothered me, she was going absolutely off the rails and the other officers looked put off by it.. for seconds until they took her back and dog piled the guy like she did nothing wrong. I really thought somebody might step in and reprimand her or tell her to go back to her squad car
It's what they've been doing. Circling the wagons to protect their own, you don't matter.
Have the police never heard of like.... Whispering in an ear? "hey friend. Let's take a time out for a sec. Catch our breath." etc... But no. They seem to be pack animals instead. One starts barking and biting and they all join in without thought.
A man gets threatened with a gun, calls the police, and HE is the one arrested…what a complete travesty of justice.
She was wrong right from the start by escalating the situation immediately. There was no need. Just listen to the man, instead of making him lay on the freaking hot asphalt.

I saw one of these videos where the cop planted an old man's weapon in the hall. Without the video, it's unlikely anyone would have believed the old man.
It's additionally disgusting how the other cops who arrived on scene immediately took her side and joined her in verbally abusing this man instead of analyzing the situation

@@DaveBigDawg, she lost her 101,000 dollar a year job. Of course her wife left her, she got embarrassed in front of her. That's the only thing that was the problem with the situation in Guerriero's mind. The officer truly thought she'd done nothing wrong. The bigger question is how many times had she violated people's rights in the past and gotten away with it by the backing of her fellow officers. That whole police department is corrupt by what I've seen from this story.
Amen!!!!
And any that work there who felt bad she lost her job or tried to help her in any way at all. Get all the roots pulled out.

The larger problem is the fact that ALL of the officers on scene refused to step in and correct the situation. There are very few professions where a coworker would stand by and allow you to berate a customer or act in such an unprofessional manner! @l-l-l-l-l-l-l I know. She knew she screwed up royally..... Even after the fact she muted her body camera to advocate for the innocent man to be locked up.
When she was at the hospital and her police partners met her there..... She had two questions..... The first question was making sure that one of her partners put the man in jail that she arrested, and when they told her that he was put in jail, she expressed satisfaction..... Right behind expressing satisfaction. She asked what was going to happen to her as in She knew she was going to be in trouble...... Once her supervisor told her that she was going to have disciplinary action against her. Then she tried to use against her supervisor that he said that in front of her marriage partner...... But she asked these questions in front of her marriage partner..... But it was her supervisors fault for Telling her disciplinary action will come upon her.....
She knew she did everything wrong and she tried to do everything. She could to make it sound like she was actually a victim when she was actually the one committing all the crimes
@l-l-l-l-l-l-l Look at the video that lackluster put up where she was investigated for this incident..... She lied on her sworn testimony and she lied to her supervisor during the investigative interview..... Every time her supervisor poked a hole in her testimony versus the video, she would always fall back to "Well I don't know him, my concern it to secure the scene".
Her supervisor went on to point out how she never searched the man that she handcuffed..... And that she or nobody ever searched the towel of his that was up against the curb..... Yet in her testimony and in her interview, she tried to say the reason why she kept him in handcuffs, if she did not know if he was going to go after whatever is in that towel..... Yet nobody ever checked to see what was in that towel....
Simply the very first person she saw angered her in the way he responded and she wanted to send a message...... Based on her interview of this whole situation, I honestly believe this has to do with the fact that it's a man and she's a woman...... She tried to use her sexual orientation against her supervisor, She even tried saying that her supervisor wouldn't disrespect her spouse if it was a man.

According to recent news articles, she had been exhibiting bad behavior repeatedly since 2018 after her wife left her and got suspended two days due to another meltdown before this incident. She was reinstated in August 2024 by an arbitrator who stated that her getting fired was excessive, especially as she reportedly had a good record prior to this.
The partner who was with her was a rookie. He has stated that he felt he had to follow her lead and that she would not have listened to any attempts by him to deescalate the situation. He is trying to get himself removed from Gould's lawsuit.
She is being retrained and assigned to the records division, which sounds like a desk job. While it isn't good that she's getting her job back, desk duty that keeps her from the public is likely better than being hired by another department.
The interview with her boss got leaked; I heard it and she was worried about getting fired since she was at the hospital. They asked her many many times about the situation, giving her the chance to come clean and say that she escalated it, but instead she always placed the blame on the victim. Really scary, one would think many of her arrests were of this nature, and she got away with it for 19 years...
Where can I hear it ?

If she believed the guy had a gun, she would've patted/searched for weapons after he was in cuffs. Since she did not pat him down, it is clear she didn't think he had a weapon on him. Itso facto: this was not a Terry Stop and was an illegal detainment / arrest.
ipso facto*
she has the nerve to appeal the decision. she should instead be writing letters of apology to everyone for being a failure and accepting it instead of wasting more of other people's time. she clearly just cares about herself

She didn’t like his nail polish and it triggered her.
Don't we see this over and over again? They pick someone to believe and take everything they say as the gospel truth. This incident has a twist in that the 911 caller was the one she decided to make into the villain. Usually the 911 caller is held to be the reliable source of all that is truthful and that is pretty much the end of their "investigation" before slapping the cuffs on someone.
It’s called professional courtesy from one criminal to another.
Very glad she gone. Now they need to lock her up.
There is a whole list of problems in this video not addressed by anyone. Let's start with the ability of an officer to turn off or mute their body camera, that should never be allowed and should be a termination event if they do. The fact that NONE of the other officers with the female cop did anything to protect the citizen and stop her from violating his rights and breaking many laws, should have had them up on charges too, this "Blue Wall" has to end and only when other officers are severely punished will it end.

I agree with the turning off of the sound on a body cam. To me that equates to tampering with evidence.
