Better bring a welder with you, hanging the turbo off the back wont last very long . And the suspension will hit the exhaust pipe when it compresses. This is all a learning curve, and make sure the timing cover is sealed up. The sand can and will get in there and the belt will skip off . The buggy looks good but the dezert will show you the changes it will need.
We will have to see what the brace looks like that they mentioned multiple times I suppose. Also the exhaust is running damn near where the original one was and is almost over the pivot point of the rear suspension so the amount of travel it would need to hit the exhaust, it would be bottoming out the buggy. Only time will tell.
I like how you haven't seen this thing perform and you can already tell what is braking and what not, you probably have a hot line to tell ppl their futures....

Jaime and brent know this as well , I've seen them out in Parker with the Miller crew who we race against. Just when you think you have it figured out baja will kick you, and soft sand is the same. Bead blast cabinet, add that to your list of tools, you'll love it! I use mine all the time and have cleaned plenty of turbos, including the compressor side.
Used to work on rails/dual purpose cars like this in the early 00's. We always tried to keep the turbo intake in front of the wheels to help with them sucking garbage in, especially sand. If you are planning on mobbing this in the dunes at glamis, you might want to make an intake snorkel with a decent filter and pre-filter.

With the turbo, Razzledazzle has enough power potential combined with its weight that its no longer a deluxe dune buggy, its a true sand-rail now, she's gotta pick up the front wheels over dunes at the very least and kick up a wake of sand, that's a sand-rail.

You can spray zink spray on the exhaust housing so it doesn't rust and looks good. And when you touch it so it gets dirty, just spray some more zink spray on it and it's like new again. Cheap and easy and it never "burns" away either :)

Hayden had me look up 3 step . Basically instead of 2 rev limiters you have 3. So you could do burnout rev limiter, one for starting line rev limiter and the last could be max rpm.
