Sure, otherwise there is no need of them being in the garage! They can talk in a hotel, garden or office coz we are only seeing the guys not the work done
Bwana Erick with a CK...Great great work na tuko hapa every Tuesday. Special request. Whatever you do, rudisha emblem ya "Turbo" hapo nyuma😄😂. There is just something about a vehicle having original emblems and badges that just makes it timeless. Otherwise great work sir, and all the best moving forward🖖
You don't have to import tyres. Visit any of Contipartner branch we will hook you up with some proper off road tyre. As for the vehicle colour Jungle green would be nice.
The cameraman doesn't listen to what they are saying and adjusting to what they are talking about. Or the person editing picking the wrong camera view.
Am a big fan of this project. Am following religiously. Erick think about doing a cost breakdown at the end of the project. Great job. Camera man bado kidogo needs work.
Bwana Erick with a CK good job, i was wondering during a colour change does one need red tape lifting from DCI so that it also reflects on the Logbook that there was a colour change ??
Advise the cameraman to be focussing on what is being described and avoid freezing on something for too long. Sometimes you are on something new but he remains focussed on the previous thing. Synchrony is key. Otherwise very good content and keep it up.
Can't wait to see the final product. Also enlighten us on the difference between 1yr, 2y, 3y,.....ceramic coating as far as Kenyan conditions are concerned.
We have a 505 at home very clean. Same engine from factory. It's a GL version that was limited. I think GL versions were limited versions with 2L engine. Most of the 505 or 504 you see around are SR or GR version harbouring a 1.8L engine on the engine bay.
I would love to know why import, is it for better quality or is it cheaper... Theres a time I tried importing rims from China after doing the mathematics it refused to math
Isn't a restoration to return the car to factory settings? It should look like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor in 1986. If you start putting 'Method rims' and colour changes you might as well put screens on the dash and mudflaps like they did on 'Pimp My Ride'. Do a full restoration to return the car to factory settings and you can enter it for Concours d'Elegance.
No sir. It's not for Concours. It's for daily driving and practicality. It's going to hit the trails and some long treacherous drives, so definitely it has to get some upgrades both for aesthetics and also comfort and convenience
@AutoKonnectKenya that's fine as well. Maybe you should change the title then to "1985 Isuzu Trooper Upgrade/Rebuild" because to restore usually means to return to it's original condition (back to factory settings).
Cameraman, show us the dashboard, when things are mention we want to see them .
Sure, otherwise there is no need of them being in the garage! They can talk in a hotel, garden or office coz we are only seeing the guys not the work done

Good work gentlemen... more shots of the vehicle while conversing would be great
Erick, i follwed the comment section and there is a cry for the camera man and or the editor to pull up the socks.

I think you just need to present your vehicle to NTSA for inspection

Waiting to see the final product on that 504. I have my station wagon parked in my backyard.
Can I import some parts with you
Yes sir.. Most definitely
Hi Erick what about the inside part of the car. Will it also be stripped of its paint?
Can the 504 be installed with an automatic engine/transmission
13:57 a color change would be nice.
Once again thank you for another episode of the Restoration. Keep growing Erick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pick a colour that is charcoal grey shades found in modern 4×4 cars
Would love to see the engine and/or gearbox works, too. We build the beast back in its entirety together. Locked in!
With tires I can give u guys choices because am here in Dubai
You can do a fine grey on the machine, then install some grey method wheels.
Desktop mechanics will always have something to say
One of the fine days of this year , I will bring my jalopy 😅
