Quick question, what should I look for when deciding on where to sign my son up for a tennis camp this summer? He is a beginner and 10yrs old. Money is tight so every second he can spend with a coach the better. We live in Houston Texas.
Video explaining how to properly slide, whether on clay or hard court. Great video and drills!!
That would be interesting 🤔👍
You got it, Bill!
Luv the hair bud :)
Just got into tennis and so far this is my favorite youtube channel. Its not that the info from others isnt as good but your presentation is amazing. Keep up the good work.
As a lifetime tennis player, from a tennis family and sometime coach i find your instruction videos the best i've ever watched. The addition of the scientific element to the videos makes it so much more understandable, without being over technical. Well done
Racquet Flex ROCKS all houses!
Excellent, as always!!!
The video is great and very useful. I apply this on my fitness tennis classes with my players all the time, Thanks again. Great video.
Awesome video so actionable, detailed and helpful. Going to work through these progressions on my own and with my coach
Excellent, insightful content well presented as always. Please keep this level of quality and thought; don't feel pressured by youtube to keep uploading lower quality frequently like so many other channels.
hope you guys upload more!! very useful info
Awesome video as always
Sampras had one of the best running forehands ever, and we could learn so much from him
When you need it most... thanks!!!! 🙏
Great video!!!! Could you guys explain how to handle heavy top spin balls from both sides? :)
Stayed because of the hair. Amazing!
Awesome explanation and high-quality coaching as usual! Thanks for the amazing lesson again. Can't wait to practice on the court!
Generating power on the run was always a problem for me, Today got into the court and just applied what you explained, i could get in one day.
Great video, keep up this great job. Thanks a lot.
Two Options:
1. Open stance 3:17
2. Hips in deep point further to the side 3:29
Open stance (1) is easier for cross court 3:44
The second option (2) is for explosion, for extremely wide balls 3:57
Pushing up the back leg and making contact with a ball before the front leg touches the ground 4:14
DO NOT hit with closed stance (DO NOT hit the ball after your front foot lands) 4:27
After contact, use cross over steps for fast recovery to the centre of the court 5:14
Use reverse forehand (is it the same as "buggy whip"?) for extra topspin for better net clearance and more time for recovery 6:03
DO NOT finish your running forehand across your body 8:21
Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation about running forehand shot
To step up the advanced level in tennis, this video is very helpful to me.
Also the reverse forehand follow through should be executed for perfect running forehand
masterclass right there !! huge value in this video !! AWESOME!
Awesome.
thanks for yours videos... interesting in the volley technique according to you. Jeff from france
As always, sweet video!
You guys are the best. Keep it up, For me you have some of the best tennis content of the net. Yes breaking the progression down is the most important step when learning something new. Hey guys would love to see a video on how to deal with really fast deep heavy ball near the baseline. How to defend?
great video - thank you :))
What an incredible video! This is exactly what I've been searching for. I also really like the tennis shorts you're wearing. Could you please let me know the brand and model so I can order them online as well? Wishing you all the best, coach!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 great video instructions!! Thx
those majestic hair bobbing running forehands
Thank you
Great coaching crystal
Good video
Great video! Thank you! I would love to see you hitting the running forehand in more wide angled shots... your technique is amazing and I learn well when I see athletes move in live situations... hope that makes sense... again, amazing video!!
This Coach is intelligent and cool.
Brilliant 👍 now do more backhand stuff
nice segment. simplified a complex technique...
Great Tennis Coaching!
Great video!!🎾🌟👏
Please do one on the running backhand🙏
Bagus mantap go upload backhand 1 handed fottwork
good stuff
Hey guys! Thanks for all the great videos and help. What would be the best video you guys have made on timing the ball and placing the ball? Also, a great video would be on learning how to exploit your opponents' weaknesses in a game. Thanks
Medicine ball drill is awesome! I'm definitely doing that. I just want to know how to hide this video from my opponents, so they don't learn it...
Good video I’m going to execute it thanks
Sir if i do it properly this all steps how long it would for me to get perfection in this shot
It is obligatory to hit a reverse follow through. Or can i hit a normal forehand although is worse?
Great video, hey are you guys still working with Greg or has he taken over?
Next one, drills how to stay seeing the ball in the moment of contact.
Drills for finding and seeing the contact point. You got it!
@@RacquetFlex thank you brothers
Are these medicine ball drills exactly the same for an open stance 2-handed backhand?
Hi Ben, yes - the same drills and running footwork works on the backhand side.
If want to finish this point, this is last shot, do I still need reverse forehand?
Should we also do this at higher balls?
The hair is rockin like Hetfield when he was riding the lighting.
Awesome as always. :]
what brand of shirts are you guys wearing?
Nice.. But how do u get pace on the ball when it's wide and bouncing way above the shoulder level? The buggy whip needs elevation some how
You can't. Ball above chest level require open stand. Running forehand uses close stand. Evan Nadal only uses running forehand below chest height. If you let the ball coming fast and wide and spin, game over.
Forget the running forehand, how do you have such magnificent hair?! It's awesome... Lol
Thanks Michael, haha! (Secret: It's Farrah Fawcett Hair Spray)
Wow,your hair is impressive
are you available for collaborations...we are finishing up a footwork software application and am looking for players such as yourself and racquetflex to provide video footage.
Hi, Mark! Please email us at connect@racquetflex.com.
Brillant! I've been trying for years to find out when the forhand has its highest speed at the contact point. Any tips or drills? Thnks so much!
Your description is for a right- handed player, but the demo is for left-handed player which is incongruent & confusing!
Sir contact should be straight at the time of contact
Please reply sir
Interesting topic and video.
When not pulled out so wide, there is also the mogul finish (without a close stance), shown here by Andy Murray @1:48 ua-cam.com/video/L7FAqrOkgXw/v-deo.html
For new videos, consider volleys, which are typically shown old school style on You Tube.
He looks like Supersaiyan 3
It's confusing watching you talk about a right hand forehand but in the video it's showing a left hand forehand. Can we just stick to one?
Bruh Delpo finishes his shots on the run
wie groß is der dude?
You make some great points, but this is incredibly wordy.
I really hate explaining as right and then the execution with a lefty guy…
the pros make hitting on the run look graceful.... when I do it in class, ugly... with instructor shouting.... get setup quicker so you don't need to do it... because your not athletic enough to hit a good one on the run.... well guess also not athletic enough to get to the ball to get setup all the time....
too much explaining but little demonstration
Explain everything too fast, I can't keep up, also sometimes you are demonstrating something and change to video too fast, it is too hard to follow.
