I got my MIDDLE SPLITS!! After 6 months....ive watched hundreds of videos i was centimeters off the ground and after watching this video I got them...IM SO HAPPY thank you
4:45 is the most I can split. Even as of right now it's still as far as I can go down in a center split. It's close to all the way down, but it's not enough to roll from laying position on stomach to sitting up to laying back down the other way on back while in a split. If you can do that then you know for sure it's a full center split. "They were the first splits I got." Yeah, center is easier for me also. But, most people seem to be able to do a regular front split easier than a center split.
So I haven't watched the whole video yet but I know that this will be amazing because it is posted by you! As a level 2-3 cheerleader, you are basically my inspiration! I love your videos so much, thankyou! ❤️

I have never been able to do splits, I would try and try and just give up, but then I wanted to learn and push myself. I danced for 14 years and had to stop a few years back due to my career kicking off. Now I’m getting back into it and I definitely didn’t see myself having to UA-cam how to do the splits! Haha. Luckily for me I found your video! You’ve got a lot of talent, I hope you stick with it for good!
Erica Lin I have training in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. Right now I’m back in ballet and I’m taking any extra fun dance classes I can find! When I finish my military enlistment I plan on going back to dance full time and being an instructor. :)

I was never flexible ever I really wanted to get into dance so now I’m on a competition team since I can do the splits and I do a lot of acting and this helps thanks so much❤️

Finally I found someone who gives out stretches with standing or bending , ima big chested girl and it’s hard doing crunches and etc , stretches that include picking your upper body up makes me cry 😭

Hey Erica, I wonder if you still read posts for this old vid. I'm a 30+ unflexible man with a max of 90degrees wide stance. These are the input parameters :D I did the above method in about half an hour, I almost died.. Twice :D at the end, I went down so deep I couldn't believe it! Amazing! The day after the whole area around my hips was burning, I found some new muscles I guess. My question is, what's the ideal frequency of the above method? Shall I let the muscles rest for a few days? Or is it better to do daily? Many thanks!
I’m so glad I’ve helped you make such great improvement! I usually recommend keeping these exercises up daily, or every other day, depending on your goal....It works well as a regular routine!

I am so disappointed in myself for losing my middle splits, I could literally slide into them as a child, they were the first splits I got.

Yes! Rest the muscle for a day or 2 and it’ll prevent soreness (: also glute strengthening exercises are good! Uploading some tmw (:

What part of the hips hurt? It’s normal to feel a bit of a stretch when doing the wide stance.
Erica Lin the back part of the hips. they are at the sides closer to the back but it’s the joints that hurt i guess
