um why would lizzo do a smoothie cleanse when the only thing she needs to do for clear skin is to follow me on twitch and catch tomorrow's stream? www.twitch.tv/dangelno
I hate that people don’t let her exist OUTSIDE her body. She is so much more than her body and body positivity etc, it must be so exhausting to have ppl treat her like that :/
Hot take body positivity is body neutrality. While neither being skinny or fat or in between makes you inherently pretty or ugly and u can just like exist and its not s goddamn big deal. I think making fat women be entirely about their body is just as dehumanizing as if you were attacking them for their body
A lot of people put Lizzo on a pedestal as the “body positive queen,” when she’s never put herself on that pedestal. She’s just a big girl who’s comfortable in her own skin.
EXACTLYY. It's automatically she's an activist which she never asked for. The issue in my opinion is how people find their own validation within her "body positivity" which is dentrimental
She did this interview with StyleLikeU ages ago, long before she became famous, talking about how much she hated her body growing up. She said when she was in school she'd wake up hoping she looked like Sailor Moon - tall, skinny, white. Something 'beautiful'. You can tell how much she's struggling. That's why I love seeing how happy she is now because I can see she *worked* for it, she struggled and fought to love herself and the only body she has. It gives a unique perspective and I recommend that interview to anyone curious to see what self-love - including loving ones body - can do for a person. If eating a bunch of fruit and vegetables makes her feel good inside her body, and is a way she is showing self-love to herself, then let her fucking do it. The inner journey is what we should focus on.
I kinda feel like her fanss took her go lucky stage persona into ultra body positivity. Even if that was the case, body positivity doesn´t mean you can´t change it. I really dislike the fans for that.

I hate how some people look at women's bodies like they're trends, and like their bodies are only there to be judged and discriminated against by them.
@Taylor Swiftie she put up a disclaimer saying she was doing it safely with medical supervision and approval and later said she did it for gastrointestinal issues. By putting up that disclaimer it implies that there are dangerous ways to do it and it's advisable to have a medical professional helping you with it. If someone wants to do it unsafely to lose weight they will do it unsafely because the diet (and their unsafe modifications of it) are just a way of losing weight. If people desperately want to lose a drastic/unhealthy amount of weight they will use and abuse any diet or detox method available because it's not necessarily the method they care about or even their safety, it's the result. If anything, lizzie's tik toks pointed out that's it's important to consult with a medical professional before drastically changing your diet even if it's just for 10 days and all you want to do is clear up some gastrointestinal issues. She didn't advocate for a weight lose method. Sure a smoothie detox can be used as a method of unsafe and drastic weight lose, but that's not what she was promoting. It was safely done with medical approval and for gastrointestinal issues. That's all it was. People can spin it into whatever they want or abuse it however they want and that's their choice.

Ikr she wore oversized shirts to avoid those comments now that she's more comfortable with her body to wear clothes her size it's people criticizing her body or leaving disgusting thirsty comments.
Right! It's not that. It is just a typical (and obvious) coming of criticism anyone who is overweight and screams "being fat is okay! Love your body!" starts dieting. It makes them look like a hypocrite, and what they said false. Like they never _actually_ believed it the entire time.
@@hannahwalmer1124 we typically think that a diet is something that you go on to lose or gain weight, but in reality a diet is defined as a person’s individual eating habits. Lizzo wanting to change her eating habits had nothing to do with gaining or losing weight. It was about trying something new by eating more fruits, veggies, and legumes. You can still love your body and think it’s okay to be fat (bc it is) while also wanting to eat more nutritious foods. In fact, eating nutritious foods and exercising regularly is a super important part of self-care and self-love. The problem is the false dichotomy regarding fat women. Shaming fat women for wanting to eat healthy foods, regardless of whether they intend to lose weight or not, is just another form of fatphobia.

People seem to confuse the term "skinny" with being healthy, and the term "fat" with being unhealthy. For example, someone can be thin and unhealthy due to bulimia and someone can have the appearance of being "fat" and healthy due to their body distributing body fat in such a way.
Not just eating disorders but a lot of genetic illnesses and weaknesses as well. For example Selena Gomez has an idealized (by society) weight but she also has lupus which is an autoimmune disease. She even had to have kidney transplants. And when you have transplant procedures you have to have a specific diet to not put too much pressure on your newly received organs . Selena was just one example. Weight is not an indication of health like you said. Some people are born with weak a heart, single kidney, weak immune system, thpe 1 diabetes etc. which directly affect your lifestyle including your diet.
the Billie Eilish one *especially* irks me since she's so young. she's a celebrity, sure, but she's still a human, same goes for all these women. women can't have anything without getting ridiculed and treated like nothing but objects to please men, and if those men arent pleased, it's *your* fault.
Be yourself, they said. It’ll be fine, they said. People will love you for who you are and not base their whole opinion of not only you as a person, but everything you do and post publicly on the internet on one aspect of your being, they said.
Imagine your minding your own business, someone takes a snap of you without your consent and next day everyone is literally trolling and bullying you over that photo for just being a nomal person :(
@Taylor Swiftie I mean I see your point but as someone who's also struggled with eds she wasn't promoting it for anyone elses use, and was doing it talking with a nutritionist. Calling these things a detox is shitty cause,, they aren't but having seen that she's not promoting any product and she's doing this safely at the end of the day she seems to be doing it safely and she's not promoting it
as well as this the fact she wasn't doing it necessarily to lose weight but instead to help her gastrointestinal issues definitely means something, was it the best choice to introduce juice cleanses to a wider audience? probably not great but she seemed to be as responsible about it as she could.

Plot twist: people can go on diets (or just eat healthy food in general) just to be healthy, without wanting to lose or gain weight. Not everyone wants to be skinny. Some people just wanna be healthy. And why tf is skinny the norm? Look back at historical art and you’ll find most girls (if not all) were a bit chubby. Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, was a bit chubby. That’s not to shade skinny girls, just wanna point out that being chubby, or fat, or even excessively fat is normal. We all come in different bodies and body types. Some people put on weight much easier than others. Its really weird how absolute strangers wanna dictate what girl’s bodies should look like...
This might be me misunderstanding you but having the amount of fat that Lizzo or even most people in the US have today would not have been "normal" during historical times. Art pieces featured body types like that because that was the ideal because most people didn't/couldn't look like that. Between agrarian life, poverty, lack of food, (healthier foods), and intense labor most people weren't able to put on that much weight. If you did it was a sign of fertility and wealth because it meant you weren't starving. What's "normal" definitely changes over time.
Leave Lizzo, Lana, Billie, and everyone’s bodies alone. Unless they are dangerously unhealthy or something, but even then, it’s not your business to comment on someone else’s appearance and body. let’s not normalize “different bodies” let’s just normalize bodies. it shouldn’t be a shocker to see plus sized people, skinny people, people of color, or just PEOPLE because people come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. end of story. normalize people.
Yes, being significantly overweight is linked to health issues BUT that does not give you the right to harass people, that's like going to every post where people are drinking and harassing them for that. Harassment is not okay, making strangers lives your own is not okay. Lizzo's existence isn't promoting obesity in any way other than showing overweight people are human. It is important that we recognise that it can lead to health problems BUT it is more important that we do not define people solely by their weight and that we do not harass people because of it. I know it is not directly related to your comment but I think some people need to hear that it being unhealthy is NOT a justification of harassment and bullying.
Bruh she literally said "if you have gastro-intestinal issues like me" as someone who also has GI issues, sometimes ya just gotta clear out your intestines and get a reboot on your body because it doesn't function properly lmao.
SAME. i do a reset probs every month or so. as i was recovering from an eating disorder, and for a few years afterward, i had some pretty intense gi issues, so i'd do a safe lil detox every week. then every other week. now it's once a month to every 2 months. it's taken kind of a while to get to a good gi place (i can now eat eggs which i used to love before my ed but literally could not digest for YEARS after.) people see what they want to see, not what's going on.

Tbh it doesn't even change anything if she was a body positivity advocate if she wanted to loose weight to get more healthy and comfortable in her own skin it wouldn't matter. She can still advocate for healthy lifestyles and normalize regular body types.

its not true that your organs just naturally detox your body for You. Once the liver function is reduced from too much toxic build up, it cant do its job anymore. Also the gut biome is a complex super organism that is comprised of billions of bacteria that are capable of being reshaped based on the diet You eat. I always got told by my dad (and later my younger brother) that I'm "too fat" just because of some minor fat on my stomach (which is literally normal, especially during the teenage years), which led to me hating how I look in general and wearing size M shirts and hoodies because I don't feel comfortable wearing something that's showing my body a bit more clearly and just felt about 20 kilos fatter than I actually was. (I'm only 1,60m and about 50kg, so I have a healthy and normal weight.) It literally took me getting pregnant and having a female gynaecologist who told me that I'm "sooo thin" (during the entire pregnancy) to realise that I'm actually not really a size M but a size S and that I've internalised a lot of the shit my dad said to me over the past 20+ years even though I told myself that I wasn't listening to his crap... After my son was born I was almost immediately back to looking like before the pregnancy. People were so surprised about me having given birth not even a week ago when they saw me with my mum (who was unlucky enough to keep every weight from both of her pregnancies, no matter what she tried) and my son outside. I didn't relate to a lot of things that new mothers say or struggle with. My son slept so much from the first day on and never wanted to get breastfed after finding it too hard to drink during his first day of life. I felt like if I'd post anything about how I look post-birth or how "easy" life with a newborn was for me that I would only get shit for it online and get told that I'm the exception and that other new mum's struggles and everything is more important than me and shit and like I wasn't allowed to share my happiness and luck and everything... so I kept quiet and only posted, like, 3 pictures of my son online that I shared with carefully selected and very little amount of people without saying really anything other than what his name is... and now I'm wondering how many newly mum's feel the same way just because they're lucky enough to loose their pregnancy weight pretty fast...
@@Larry_Stylinson Honestly, your story is helpful for girls like me who want to be mothers some day. I'm always hearing about how horrible motherhood is. You'll gain a ton of weight and never lose it, your body will be permanently changed and you'll never look the same no matter what, your child will cry so much that you will never sleep, ever, for months on end, etc. It sounds like a definite after it's repeated so often. So hearing someone like you, who had a relatively good experience (of course there will be hardships), is a breath of fresh air. It gives people like me some hope.
Yeah, it blows me away. You have to keep in mind that the audiences of these people are not the same, they're different groups of people. You'll get attacked for your body, no matter what you look like, but it's usually from different groups. Somebody who pays attention to Lizzo for body positivity (that would be let down/angry by this, which isn't okay) probably isn't looking to/holding the Kardashians to the same expectations. Those groups of people aren't there to give the Kardashians backlash when they do worse things.
We honestly just need body neutrality, everyones body is normal. We need to stop freaking out and being so obsessed with other people's bodies. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, periodt.
I think you are using the term wrong, "everyone is beautiful" is body positivity, whereas neutrality means it shouldn't matter if a body is beautiful or not as beauty is not the goal at all.
@@hissing3904 I can understand using the term neutrality with how toxic the body positivity movement can be sometimes. There’s nothing wrong with it. It really doesn’t matter if a body is beautiful or not
Well, that was the goal of body positivity but there are times where people used it to bad extents, like promoting obesity and being overweight. It will, and will never, be a healthy thing, and you can accidentally promote food addiction, constant depression, legitemate disorders, and pretty much death. Even if there are birth factors like being big-boned, it should not be an excuse to keep being overweight, unless there _is_ a birth factor that permanently makes you fat, like being albino. So saying everyone is beautiful does not mean they're beautiful to their own body and health, that also matters too, not just physical appearances. *Also to add: If someone already decides what they'll do to their body while acknowledging all the cons and pros along with it and that it doesn't hurt anyone else, then just let them be, it _is_ still their body and it's still their choice. Again, physical appearances shouldn't matter but concern for health is okay, and if that person already acknowledged what they're in for, then there aren't needs for concern or lectures at that point. Being fat isn't really that big of a deal anyway and so is being skinny.
The whole saying that billie has a "mom bod" is so fucking weird. Like women arent skinny and tiny their whole life and then are allowed to have an average body when they give birth. Her stomach isnt completely flat because she has organs?? I hate it here. Women cant just exist.

This was so interesting how you showcased 3 different kinds of bodies, one being “ideal” in today’s standards, and yet ALL of them were shamed. It really puts into perspective the idea that whatever size body you have, there’s always going to be something someone has to say about it-it isn’t right, but it’s encouraging that a particular type of body isn’t alone in feeling discouraged. As women, we should be promoting inclusivity of ALL bodies-whatever size-and understand that each person has their own story and insecurities. Let people live their lives and be comfortable in their own body! As long as they are taking care of themselves, it doesn’t matter what size they are! Every body is beautiful.

I can only assume the same goes for men though, as men such as (using examples you presumably know) D'Angelo and Leafy would probably very easily throw eachother under the bus. And not to mention, just in general women online receive considerably harsher judgement when it comes to appearance or skill, which comes largely from men (not entirely, because unfortunately many women do also contribute, though mostly to the appearance category). Though I'm not an expert in the reasoning behind women shitting on other women's appearances, I do think it probably stems mostly from insecurities that have been set over time by men. That being said, I'm not blaming you for that. I would assume you're fairly young (not judging, so am I) so in the time you've been alive, hopefully you haven't contributed too much to this. But I (and I'm sure a lot of other people) would be appreciative if you tried to understand the history and present of societal pressure on women and the effects of it. Sorry for writing such a long reply, I hope it helps
She said outright it was for gastrointestinal issues, but even if it wasn't it's not like she was trying to sell overpriced supplements like some crazy MLM. It's no one's business but hers what she decides to eat.
See this is what doesn’t sit right with me. As soon as a bigger woman starts eating healthy it’s taken as omg she must want to lose weight. No??? Being healthy, taking care of your organs and nurturing yourself is important regardless of your size pls-
RIGHT As a person who is chubby I fucking hate everyone who is in the body positivity community. They’re so stupid and when you come out to only eating salad they think you’re starving yourself and that you’re telling other big bodied women to go in a diet or lose weight when you just want to eat something healthy. Their ‘body positivity’ is so fake ngl.
@@phonkearl3581 not everyone in the body positivity movement is like that lol the basic concept of body positivity is that all bodies r ok the way they are and dont make u worth less as a person. also ofc u can eat whatever tf u want although only eating salad is unhealthy but thats your prerogative bc its ur body
Moral of the story: People just want to make people feel bad about their bodies. If someone seems majorly over or under weight and it concerns you, talk to them about it but don't pick people apart about everything. In other words, don't be gross.
the fact that these women feel entitled to Lizzo’s body 😫 Lizzo takes care of her health by working out and doing juice cleanses, to shame her for doing so is just stupid I have no words honestly -
from what I've seen it's people assuming all juice cleanses are terrible. like no, sometimes your body just needs an easy break when it comes to digestion, and for Lizzo this obviously works and she is not even promoting it
@@djl12100 There's no proof that detox diets help your digestion or your intestine health. It's all woo woo medicine along the same lines of "leaky gut syndrome". Let your liver and kidneys do their job and just eat healthy.
@@Kiputytto_minis There are theories however of creating healthy gut biomes for the bacteria within your intestines by eating proper foods, boosting your immune system. That sounds more like what Lizzo was trying to achieve.
@@Kiputytto_minis all I meant with my comment is that she chose to take care of her health by doing a juice cleanse. That wasn’t really the issue other plus size women seemed to have though. They just seemed angry that she was potentially doing it to loose weight and “betray them like Adele”. If Lizzo wants to do a juice cleanse it doesn’t affect my life or my health if the benefits from it exist or not. You live and you learn 🤗 that’s just my two cents though
double standards. when you see men in the news it's usually because they're breaking gender norms, and usually they're painted in a bad light. if a man comes out with his story of domestic abuse or something, they're told to man up. or that they probably deserved it. when it's a woman, they're praised for being so strong. then when a woman says she has a very active sexual life shes called a slut. but when it's a man, hes praised .when you see women in the news, they're being criticized for being too skinny, too fat, not enough makeup, not enough skin, too much makeup or too much skin. with men, sometimes it's a bout how they look but it's mostly about how they're not manly enough. no one can win, everyone just has a problem with everything for no real reason.
Jonah Hill, Christian Bale and Chino Moreno are a few I can think of right away. There's definitely more women that are subject to this kind of discrimination, but it happens to all sorts of people. In Jonah Hill's case, someone made a website to keep track of if he was "fat" or not
“My body my choice” is one of the most important things to me, because to me that’s freedom. It’s not only about reproductive health, it’s also about weight and s*x, beauty and how I hold myself
Yes! Bodies exist to connect your brain to the outside word. Period. They only exist to serve you, in whatever way you choose. They don't define you, they are not you, and you control them.
@@BluePlayed, yes, for the sake of comedy. Although there're countless cases of everyday micro-agression (including unsolisided advice and opinions) towards women bc of their body size/proportions/whatever
Personally don't think she should've shared it because although she wasn't promoting it, she's an influencer, so at least some of her audience would've been influenced by this detox bs. HOWEVER, she already stated that she's doing it for her digestion, so for people to claim that it's an attempt at weight loss is just stupid. Plus, she gave a disclaimer for her audience not to try it without doing their own research so she gets a pass, I just don't really know why she needed to share it in the first place
@@yasaiaisa8363 I think she was just being proud that she prepared something and wanted to share it. I know it sounds dumb, but I follow a lot of people who share pictures of their mediocre meals, and I don't see anything wrong with it.
The way she talks about "resetting" and having gastrointestinal issues, I think she's talking abt helping her gut's microbiome out, not about "cleansing herself of toxins" or whatever. They literally don't even try to listen or understand, they just don't want her to win.
That's exactly why she did it. She says in the one tiktok that she did it because she was on vacation in Mexico and ate and drank a bunch that messed up her stomach, so she did the cleanse to make her not feel like shit
The whole idea of a "detox" is pseudoscience. However, it's pretty clear from the post and the context that it was just something that she was doing for herself, with some thought, and not really her promoting anything. So even getting backlash for that is kind of wonky for me.
@@mivical That's exactly how it works though. What you eat dictates what bacteria flourish in your gut, which affects everything in your body. Kurzgesagt did a great video about it: ua-cam.com/video/VzPD009qTN4/v-deo.html

@Taylor Swiftie But it did not look like she was discarding the healthy parts of the fruit, so technically she's just changing the texture of all that fruit and still consuming it. Maybe she could have kept some carbs in her diet for that duration of time but ultimately it wasn't unhealthy, especially for the duration of time. Also, just because there are people with EDs who go on unhealthy cleanses does not mean everyone will or may be likely to fall into the same spiral. I definitely went on a greens diet for a period of time when I was overweight, mind you I always had low self esteem, but my body and mind felt better for it, as do many who take active steps to improving their health. Everyone is at risk for abusing anything--whether spending, wrt diet, relationships, etc.
cleansing juice/ juice cleanses are extremely toxic but millions fall for it/ don’t understand it or why.. and it’s a great placebo affect Lizzo obviously wouldn’t know that. unless you’ve had some kind of ED, or a nutritionist you would never know that She didn’t do it because of ill intentions or something... not even product placement it’s weird people blame her instead of that industry
Seems like those anti-bullying PSAs that have been driven into kids heads for the past few decades have backfired, people still bully, just think they are justified in it because they think they are fighting against it. When in actuality, they are the bullies.

True

@Taylor Swiftie don't you mean to comment this seperately instead of commenting on others?

Some people are born with weak a heart, single kidney, weak immune system, thpe 1 diabetes etc. which directly affect your lifestyle including your diet.

as well as this the fact she wasn't doing it necessarily to lose weight but instead to help her gastrointestinal issues definitely means something, was it the best choice to introduce juice cleanses to a wider audience? probably not great but she seemed to be as responsible about it as she could.
that is sadly celebrity culture I've researched many times how paparazzi people aren't considered to be harassers and stalkers and always the answer makes no sense to me as to why their not considered those things.
@@pia_mater YOU mean Obsessity ? right..
and some people’s bodies NEED to be fat/skinny, not everyones body is the same
Yes Aphrodite a real living person a great example
This might be me misunderstanding you but having the amount of fat that Lizzo or even most people in the US have today would not have been "normal" during historical times. Art pieces featured body types like that because that was the ideal because most people didn't/couldn't look like that. Between agrarian life, poverty, lack of food, (healthier foods), and intense labor most people weren't able to put on that much weight. If you did it was a sign of fertility and wealth because it meant you weren't starving. What's "normal" definitely changes over time.
@@RoseEyed true, it’s really weird. and there’s more “fat”ness in america than anywhere else
It never is ok! I don’t care if you think it’s unhealthy
Seriously, let people’s doctors decide if they are unhealthy. Everyone else can STFU.
lizzo posts her eating salads and exercising all the time too 😭😭😭 and people still want to caller unhealthy
You have to help someone if their health is in danger, but if not, it's better to leave them alone
Bruh she literally said "if you have gastro-intestinal issues like me" as someone who also has GI issues, sometimes ya just gotta clear out your intestines and get a reboot on your body because it doesn't function properly lmao.
exactly! I commented something similar about Crohn's disease
ur stomach gets in pain bro it sucks, people really dont get it huh
SAME. i do a reset probs every month or so. as i was recovering from an eating disorder, and for a few years afterward, i had some pretty intense gi issues, so i'd do a safe lil detox every week. then every other week. now it's once a month to every 2 months. it's taken kind of a while to get to a good gi place (i can now eat eggs which i used to love before my ed but literally could not digest for YEARS after.) people see what they want to see, not what's going on.
If I see detox in this scenario I think of training my body out of being used to the shit ton of sugar I consume every day as an American
Like seriously she said in the vid that it was done with a nutritionist, like they wouldn't sign off on that stuff unless it was safe for her

“You’re not fat enough to be a mother.”
Is how it felt with that last one.
And to be a mother of five for sure
If she had an ounce of chub they'd be telling her she's too fat and lazy to be a mother and doesn't respect her appearance. You can't win.
Wait she a mother?
I always got told by my dad (and later my younger brother) that I'm "too fat" just because of some minor fat on my stomach (which is literally normal, especially during the teenage years), which led to me hating how I look in general and wearing size M shirts and hoodies because I don't feel comfortable wearing something that's showing my body a bit more clearly and just felt about 20 kilos fatter than I actually was. (I'm only 1,60m and about 50kg, so I have a healthy and normal weight.)
It literally took me getting pregnant and having a female gynaecologist who told me that I'm "sooo thin" (during the entire pregnancy) to realise that I'm actually not really a size M but a size S and that I've internalised a lot of the shit my dad said to me over the past 20+ years even though I told myself that I wasn't listening to his crap...

Everyone is beautiful in their own way, periodt.
yes absolutely
I think you are using the term wrong, "everyone is beautiful" is body positivity, whereas neutrality means it shouldn't matter if a body is beautiful or not as beauty is not the goal at all.
@@hissing3904 I can understand using the term neutrality with how toxic the body positivity movement can be sometimes. There’s nothing wrong with it. It really doesn’t matter if a body is beautiful or not
You hit the nail on the head

Yeah, you can't win in this society.

@@dajaunkata well, there are actually a lot of "kinds". Probably infinite. A woman criticizing or just shitting on another woman isn't really a betrayal to the "kind" or whatnot, because women are not a solid unit such as an army and do not all have a sense of loyalty to other women, because many people see even people within their own gender as different "kinds".

Women can’t do anything without being ridiculed
Notice that no male celebrity’s aren’t constantly in the news for their weight
double standards. when you see men in the news it's usually because they're breaking gender norms, and usually they're painted in a bad light. if a man comes out with his story of domestic abuse or something, they're told to man up. or that they probably deserved it. when it's a woman, they're praised for being so strong. then when a woman says she has a very active sexual life shes called a slut. but when it's a man, hes praised .when you see women in the news, they're being criticized for being too skinny, too fat, not enough makeup, not enough skin, too much makeup or too much skin. with men, sometimes it's a bout how they look but it's mostly about how they're not manly enough. no one can win, everyone just has a problem with everything for no real reason.
@@SM-qv2om I wholeheartedly agree with you. both genders cannot win. there's always something wrong with both.
@@SM-qv2om Its because once upon a time, common people used to read newspapers and books, now they mainly read visual images.
Jonah Hill
Jonah Hill, Christian Bale and Chino Moreno are a few I can think of right away. There's definitely more women that are subject to this kind of discrimination, but it happens to all sorts of people. In Jonah Hill's case, someone made a website to keep track of if he was "fat" or not
“My body my choice” is one of the most important things to me, because to me that’s freedom. It’s not only about reproductive health, it’s also about weight and s*x, beauty and how I hold myself
Agreed
Is just the thought of freedom of choosing what YOU want for YOUR body
Not what society wants but what you want for yourself
Yes! Bodies exist to connect your brain to the outside word. Period. They only exist to serve you, in whatever way you choose. They don't define you, they are not you, and you control them.
I mean, yeah. But unfortunately the karens and marens have decided to yoink that in response to people who know that covid is a thing we need to stop.

These situations just confirm that women can’t love their bodies and express it without everyone shaming them
Imagine drinking a smoothie and having people get offended
The way this world is going, It's not surprising
@@yasaiaisa8363 if she wasn't promoting it then why did she tag someone who sells those "detox teas" (read: laxatives) in the original post?
@@samkadel8185 I don't see where she tagged the person, are you talking about the fact that she wrote "on JJ Smith's 10 day smoothie detox"?
This is why the “I’m so sorry that you have to have a body” audio was so popular on TikTok, because you literally can’t win ever with these people
"If you're on the internet just don't be a woman, because clearly is not worth it." Truer and sadder words have not been spoken
This just in: different women have different bodies.

Just like different men have different bodies!!
The way she talks about "resetting" and having gastrointestinal issues, I think she's talking abt helping her gut's microbiome out, not about "cleansing herself of toxins" or whatever. They literally don't even try to listen or understand, they just don't want her to win.
i dont think thats how it works tho or at least i havent seen any studies on it
That's exactly why she did it.
@@riversrhodell2359 tbf she did have that video which looked A LOT like bodychecking but yeah
@@mivical That's exactly how it works though. What you eat dictates what bacteria flourish in your gut, which affects everything in your body. Kurzgesagt did a great video about it: ua-cam.com/video/VzPD009qTN4/v-deo.html

@Taylor Swiftie huh
