Good video. I have the 2022 Super Chief Limited with stage 2 plus a Lloydz tune. Been ridding since 1981 and it's my favorite to bike date. I can easily do full day rides. However, it's not great for my wife on the back seat. Backrest helps, but it's just a cramped position for the passenger for more than an hour or so. Looked for passenger adjustable length pegs and floor boards, but none are made for this model. More leg room could help alleviate the passenger cramped feeling. May have to get a custom set made. That's my only gripe with this bike, everything else is just right. Ride safe and enjoy the ride.✌️
No complaints for me on this one. Put 6,000 miles on it last year including a 2,000 mile road trip. Airhawk on the seat, put stand-alone highway pegs up front on the Downtubes, put a sissy bar with luggage rack on the back. Held all my stuff on the passenger pillion and luggage rack wrapped around the sissybar. I rode in comfort, only had some sore hands at the end of the trip. I did get the mid rise handlebars (shorter than the mini apes that come on the bobber, but higher than the beach bars) because I’m 6’4. Helped my back a ton making that change. Also swapped the slip ons for a Rampage Exhaust and put the high flow air cleaner on it. Sounds loads better. I will say the saddlebags aren’t the most spacious. They hold my gloves, a water bottle, my tool kit, and my rain gear/insulated layer for my jacket.
I own this bike! Absolutely love it. Very comfortable ride and tons of power. Only complaint is the bags. Why they did a tapered design that makes the opening so small is beyond me. I havent figured out how to switch them out with the Viking bags i have. The suspension is in the way so no go. Did switch out the windshield with a Fairing i had which i like a lot better. Awsome ride and a lot of features. Huge upgrade from the Vulcan 900 i was riding.
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧! I have been riding my scout for a year or so and absolutely loving it. I will eventually upgrade to a super chief limited. Absolutely loving it! Safe riding and keep the rubber down!
I disagree that this bike wasn't designed for long distance touring. Slap a different seat on it or something like an airhawk, add a sissy bar and maybe a little luggage rack, and you can comfortably do 8+ hour days in the saddle - it's what I did.
I absolutely love my Super Chief! I have taken it on 500 mile rides with no issues. Stock seat for me is comfortable. Have you done anything with your shocks? I have considered changing them to give a little more spring.
Although a dual front would be nice, the larger bikes like the Springfield, Chieftain, and Roadmasters do come with dual on the front. Good point! However I will say, I’m a pretty aggressive rider and the single front has been too terrible. Decent stopping power for stock brakes.
@@benattwiggcycles yeah that’s true those other Indians do come with an extra front brake (2ft) as an aggressive ride myself I want more stopping power, not less.. to each their own . Good review regardless.. I was looking at Indian but for the price and the 15week wait time to get one(in my area) I opted for the BmW R18 1800 it came with a Dr jekill & hyde exhaust and some mini ape hangers out the door for $14,500.. I really wanted either Indian or the Harley but so does everyone else… Thanks for the reply and I’m now a Subscriber! P.s. have you Done a review on the BmW R18? Im going to go look now …
@@Glitched-PanAmerica Oh wow!!! I love those bikes!!! They look amazing. Congrats on that! You'll have to do a walkaround video on it if you can. I'd love to see what you have done to it.

I have a super chief limited, had for about a year. Awesome bike, the front brake has not been an issue at all (I am not an aggressive rider, though)

Of course you can go long distance on this.
I'm finally getting the superchief limited this November. Really excited.

All that weight and power, to only have a single front brake!.
