    I'm the customer this bike is aimed at! I'm a short woman whose on a 1200cc Sportster and wanting to ride longer distance more comfortably while also having a reasonably sized commuter. This Chief is perfect for me! Plus, all the technology over a comparable Harley makes a Chief the easy choice for me.

    Had the opportunity to ride all of them today, from the scouts to the challenger and all in between. I must admit I was a bit nervous as i never had rode indians or have alott of experience with bigger style bikes. I must say they all handled well and were not as heavy as they look. I'm not a big guy and none of them felt or handled in anyway that made me feel as if they were too big or beyond my skilll level. I fell in love with all of them and have become a huge fan!

    I never seriously shopped for an Indian. Are the dealerships like Harley Dealerships where they try to get a customer to pay above MSRP, and over-charge for things like freight and prep?

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  3 роки тому +2

      I imagine every dealership is different but I can tell you I’ve been to at least a dozen dealerships and none of them are like that. One of the main reasons I didn’t buy a Harley is the way we were treated at several HD dealerships. Ridiculous games.

    Very appealing bike, however The short fenders keep my wallet closed, for now.
    I’d like to see a few riders after coming back from a ride in the rain.
    I think the lead bike would have a skunk stripe up their back and the second guy would be avoiding a rooster tail.
    Given I live in a wet climate and how dirty the roads are in my area this is a valid concern for me.
    Give me the same bike but add about 4” to the back of that front fender and redesign that whole rear tin...not overkill, but come on, put fenders on it.

      If it were my bike I would change the rear shocks, just like I did on my scout. But then again I’m 210 pounds ( cough cough) so I test them a little more. Hahaha. If I had a Cheiftain or RM or a Challenger and I wanted an “around town” bike, hands down this would be it. The DH Chief with some ape hangers, cams and a tune, that’s it. However, I was looking at the accessories on the website and the prices were ..... well, outrageous honestly! Some of the windshields were over $600, and that doesn’t even include the docking hardware. That’s the most expensive windshields I’ve ever seen. I didn’t look around much after that but the few items I did see were very, very, expensive. Indian Scout:
    "Am I joke to you?"
    I'd consider a stage two 116 if it had dual front discs. Just because it's "OK" for a stock tune doesn't mean it's OK once you start bumping up the power. My Scout has the same front brake and it is a God damn crime to gimp the brakes on a fast bike like this just because "cruisers don't need good brakes" 🤨

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  3 роки тому

      Well, I guess we’ll disagree about the brakes, they seemed to work well for me. No issues what so ever. I’m not sure what you’re referring to as far as the scout goes, for some people, myself included, the scout frame is too small. It’s not an insult, it’s just too small for me. So for those of us that want a smaller bike, but the Scout doesn’t fit well, this is great option. I’m not seeing the slight, hope you didn’t misunderstand me. Thanks for watching!

      Well I can tell you from the standpoint of someone that owns a Springifeld that it all depends on what you're looking for. If you want something you can travel on or do very long ride the Spriny is your best choice for only a few more bucks. If you already own a large touring bike then I would take the Chief for local rides and bike nights. Of course if youre shorter in stature and want something more manageable in a lighter weight, The Chief could be a bike for any purpose. These are my opinions only of course and nothing beats riding it for yourself.

    OOO!!! Bring-dumping an idea I just had!!!
    Can I bluetooth my phone to the bike and then bluetooth my bike to my headset? If done correctly, that should seamlessly integrate my phone's activity (music, calls, directions, etc) with my bike, and therefore, my headset. Therefore, if I'm rocking tunes and I get an incoming call, I can accept or decline the call right from the bike's gauge pod. Similarly, the bike could relay voice commands (I.E. 'call Barbara') to the phone and initiate a call.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  3 роки тому +1
